> > I found that "Banana Splits" was on the Cartoon > > Channel not too long ago. I hope that anyone who > recalled that show could help out. Ronne Troup, familiar to most as "Polly" on "My Three Sons", was tied up quite a few times on "Danger Island". At first she's and her father are captured by pirates on their boat. She's first tied hands in front and a short time later she's suspended by her wrists. Then she's tied hands in front again. Next, she and her father are taken ashore in a small boat. In that scene her hands are tied behind ( I think). After that she's again tied hands in front and threatened with a knife by one of the pirates. She's rescued from that predicament by Jan Micheal Vincent who played her brother. There are some later scenes scattered throughout the rest of the chapters (my memory is a bit fuzzy on these) including one where she's again captured by the pirates and tied to a chair (hands behind) in a shack. And one segment where she's captured by natives and has her hands tied behind and is about to be thrown into a volcano. I think during part of the volcano story she might also have been tied arms apart at one point. Can't seem to recall any gags in these scenes. I haven't seen all of the chapters though. TBS ran a Christmas Eve "Banana Splits" marathon about 10 years ago, then it turned up on the Cartoon Network. After that it went to the Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang and guess what. Boomerang is having a 24 HOUR "BANANA SPLITS" MARATHON beginning at 7:00am Central on Friday January 24th. That's according to my DirecTV Guide. If you have DirecTV, Boomerang is channel 297. |

Thanks to KEVIN's alert, I was aware of this airing tonight. Unfortunately, I may have missed some of the sequence. Little help ... I tuned in about 70' in, and shortly after there was a long shot of the two captives seated together, then a quick closeup of one of them. Was there anything preceding this? I taped up to the next break, then reverse searched through those twelve minutes or so, and didn't see anything, so I ran the tape back to just after that first scene and resumed recording after the break. I caught the last scene with the remaining hostage just before an explosion (later revealed to be the gendarmerie coming to the rescue). Then just to satisfy my curiosity I went back over what was left from the first tape segment and saw the other captive shown to Chan before being released. The break comes just after that scene. Are those three scenes the Alpha and Omega of the sequence, or did I miss a letter or two? |

Don't know if anyone's brought it up, but Unreal Tournament 2003 has a female player model that is a bald, fetished up goth punk girl with a ball gag in her mouth. Not the prettiest of pixals (and I even go for bald, fetished up goth punk girls with ball gags in her mouth) but still a pleasent suprise. |

She looks like something out of hell raiser. By the way it is an awsome game I play it on line about 6 hours a day. I am RAB if you play on line by the way. By the way one of the first video games to have a bondage scene was Custards Last Stand. |

Custer's Last Stand was a so-called "X-rated" Atari game in which a naked Custer approached a Native American maiden tied to a pole, while dodging arrows being shot at him. The game was intended to be funny, but probably proved unintentionally hilarious in many ways. I find reading reviews of the game much more fun than the idea of actually playing it! Considering what the graphics in the game looked like, there are actually people who've seen the game and had no idea the woman was tied up. |

> Anyone remember any other ungagging lines from scenes?
---------- And how about memorable lines from a damsel about to be Re-Gagged? You know, something more imaginative from the writers than "I promise I won't scream", or "You won't get away with this." What accentuates this situation is that she's aware from her previous experience of the sensation of being gagged. E.g., Linda Evans in "Dynasty": "Please don't gag me. I can't breathe!" So evil captor George Hamilton generously uses a Cleave gag this time, instead of tape. |

Aaarrgh!! No! No! No! (Insert sounds of heartwrenching sobs!) I really enjoyed this show! One of the hottest blondes ever, clad in that skimpy outfit, getting KOed and tied up fairly regularly--the sultry brunette--plus all the beautiful native women! I thought it was a great fantasy show. (I enjoyed the stories and the setting as well;of course, the women were the major factor for me!) I was really looking forward for the next season to start. And now I just found out that it won't! Monday January 20 11:01:59 2003 Video Game Dids, Japanese Site |
Even tho i play a lot of video games, the ones I've played recently havent had much DiD content. From back in the day however, I remember that the Ninja Turtle games usually had the busty April O'Neill bound. Also, at AOH Central (link below), we were able to get some pics of video game DiDs from Adventures of Bayou Billy (NES) and Tomb Raider (PS1).
Speakin of AOH Central, I was searchin the net for pictures from "Scorpion's Revenge", and I somehow bumped into a japanese site with lots of bondage pics, and a good amount of AOH pics that will be on AOH Central soon. It looks like the focus of this site is cinema and TV, as I saw caps from Zero Woman and one movie that Raffish put up on his site. Here is the link of the site: http://www.heroine.to/index2.html |

Years ago, I mean, before there was a Worldwide Web, I played a text video game called "Mallagor" that was based on the Gor novels. It was based on John Norman's Gor novels and used the AdventureWriter game development system for the Commodore64. I got it from the author on Qlink.
I was thinking that with the video game system emulators out there now, Mallagor might be usable once again, or floating around somewhere in cyberspace. Has anybody else even HEARD of this game? |

I seem to recall a discussion on this board several years ago about a video game, starring Aerosmith, that had DiD(s) bound to chairs and gagged. The game, Revolution-X, was a first-person shooter for the long defunct Sega Saturn. |

Kate Winslet handcuffs and tapegags herself...she's investigating a pretty gruesome murder where the victim is tapegagged and also has a bag placed over her head. kate reenacts this scene for forensic purposes. You see her placing the tape on her mouth, then the bag over her head...She handcuffs herself behind the back and lays on the floor. her guy friend is timing how long it takes her to run out of air. Then as she's struggling for air, handcuffed on the floor, her friend rips the bag off and you get to see her for a few seconds or so with the tape on before her friend rips it off....Alot of mmphing...I don't like the whole bag on the head thing..but she did it to herself..and you get a few seconds of her with just the tape |

Someone mentioned Broken Sword II before. The first game which I think was called Circle of Death (Broken Sword in Europe) also had the heroine bound (not gagged). Although the graphic was small and you couldn't see the bonds there was some good dialogue about the hero kissing her before he unties her. |

> 24 HOUR "BANANA SPLITS" MARATHON If you miss that, I believe they're running a half hour of the show every night at some ungodly hour. The original show was an hour divided into four approximately 15-minute segments, of which three were cartoons and the fourth the live-action serial, with a bunch of video segments featuring the costumed Banana Splits "band" running around in between. So a given half hour might or might not have an episode--you have to stick with it and find out the rhythm. The cartoons, IIRC, were really awful, though I always liked the Middle Eastern magician using "Rosann Khobar" ("Red Shadow") as his magic word. |

Monday January 20 18:20:20 2003 Late VCR alert |
Starting at 6:30 Eastern time on the Westerns Channel is a scene featuring Phyllis Coates in an episode of the Lone Ranger -- it may air at a different time in other time zones, which is why I'm posting it at all.
Record number: 6825 Title: Lone Ranger, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Phyllis Coates Description: Episode: "The Perfect Crime" (3.47) Blonde schoolmarm Naomi Courtwright (Coates) is surprised to discover the teacher she's replacing is her former college professor, an embezzler (Hayden Rorke) she helped convict years earlier. The "professor" springs a trap, surprising and handgagging Naomi, who promptly faints. The professor and a henchman get the drop on the Lone Ranger and Tonto in the basement of their hideout and tie up all three while they finish tunneling into a bank's vault. The Lone Ranger is bound lying on the floor, Tonto has his wrists bound behind his back, while Naomi has her wrists elaborately bound in front with an additional couple of cords wrapped around her upper arms and torso. Tonto fishes a knife out of the Ranger's boot and cuts his bonds, which enables the masked man to surprise and capture the bad guys. Plenty of close-ups of Naomi as The Professor describes how he's going to drown her in a nearby river, but only middle range shots of her bonds, mostly with Tonto and the Lone Ranger blocking a clear view. |

> I know it's short, but is the scene any good?
I always thought so, primarily because of Holly Robinson and the kind of snooty, materialistic character she played on the show. You just couldn't wait for someone to tie her up and gag her. In the scene she's wearing a pair of arm braces in an attempt to repair them. Mark starts wrapping medical tape around her arms so she can't get out of the braces, then wraps the tape wround her torso and legs and pushes her down on the couch. As he's leaving the room, Holly yells "You can't leave me like this!". Mark re-enters the room and the camera zooms in as he puts a piece of tape over Holly's mouth. It's not really tight, but the tape is translucent so you can see her lips underneat. Holly does a nice job of "gag-talking" as the credits start to roll. All in all, a really unique scene (because of the arm braces) featuring an actress I've wanted to see b&g for a long time. I'm going to record anyway. Hopefully, it's some kind of mistake. |

Monday January 20 19:06:37 2003 Miller Lite Commerical |
Has anyone seen the new Miller Lite commerical (I saw it during the Raiders/Titans game). It has this guy noticing a hot girl moving into an apartment down the hall from him. He goes to put a note on her door, but it won't stay. I can't remember if scotch tape won't stick or what. So he comes back with this huge roll of duct tape to tape it up there. He unrolls a huge strip, and she opens the door. To her it looks like he is going to gag her so she screams and slams the door on him.
Amusing commerical I thought. |

> > > > After about halfway thru Entertainment Tonight, it's revealed to be CHERYL TIEGS. OK, it turns out it's a prank on Interior designers, to be aired on "Girls Behaving Badly" (Oxygen) January 19 episode. ----------- Cheryl Tiegs' prank was the first segment aired on the Jan 19th episode. While the closest "actual" bondage was a blurred-out photo ("Oops, how did that get in here?") of what appeared to be a woman wearing either a mask or a blindfold, there was plenty of wonderful discussion. E.g. after Tiegs explains that she's looking to convert a gym/workout room into a windowless, black leather room, padded, and perhaps with video cameras, Tiegs' "assistant" informs her the call from the charity she's been expecting has come thru, so while Tiegs exits the room: Assistant: "...here are some drawings she made... you can see how the handcuffs hang down." "So she could possibly cuff herself up here (she pantomines, raising her hands up) and then have her legs spreadeagled cuffed down below, but elevated." Later, Man seeing a display of various toys, including a police nightstick and a kind of elaborate leather face-harness: "Does she wear this, or do others?..." Asst: "No, she pretty much likes to use all these things, she ordered them specially..." After the setup is revealed, there's a quickie black-and-white shot of Tiegs, changed out of her fashionable dress and into a dominant's collar, smiling broadly as she flicks a whip at the camera as it dissolves to commercial. Sigh... so close. This was the best opportunity yet for an entry for the wholesome Tiegs, especially if the Dissolve-shot had her instead in a submissive's outfit/pose, since the prank had put on that she preferred to be the chain-ee rather than the chain-or. |

Rented this movie on DVD over the weekend and its scenes are okay, but should have been much better. The chloro scene is actually pretty good, but would have been a 5-star standout if the director avoided the need to make rapid-fire jump cuts to shots of flashing light bulbs and other such nonsense like a music video.
Once captive, you hardly get a good view of the damsel due to lighting and shot composition, which again was frustrating. But it's a lot better than nothing and the damsel really did play up her fear a lot. See the database for more details. The recent Cinescape magazine probably has the best pics of the damsel in her predicament and better lit than anything in the movie if you'd rather spend the $5 for a clearer view. :) |

I played that as a kid, and even remember getting to that part. I was disappointed with the woman being so unattractive though (yes, even back then I was into this stuff). However, you could remove her gag, and give her a "truth telling pill" of sorts which would make her tell what she remembers. You were unable to untie her, as I recall. |
