The Old Switcheroo
I posted a very minor west coast alert for "The Amanda Show" that aired on Nick tonight. Well, I just checked the west coast feed of Nick and they ran a different episode than the one that aired on the east coast. Full details of the scene are on the alerts for February 1st. Not much to it, just Amanda Bynes coming out on stage untying herself.

I think most of us are so disgusted with the show, most probably feel it's not worth mentioning. It was very brief and you couldn't see much. I still say the May sweeps may be the best time for this show to produce something with her. They have a full-season run and are going to get desperate real soon. Last week's rating plummeted to season-low 3.4 for 81st place. To compare, a rerun last week of "John Doe" scored a 3.2. That's not a good sign for "Fastlane" when a rerun an hour later pulls in almost the same rating.

I say no chance for "Poppy" in bondage, but I hope I'm wrong, as long as she ditches the wig that was mentioned. Boy, that would suck. Show has shown no effort to head in that direction.

Bondage Advisory???
The other day I was watching MTV and they were playing the video "Stan" from Eminem. So naturally I was expecting to see again the scene from Dido while she is B&G in the trunk, but what a surprise!!!! I couldn't see it because they deleted that scene!!!
So we start again with those sensors again...I remembered when somebody in this forum posted the same complain about the video clip from Vanessa Carlton in which we could see a tape gagged woman and those guys from MTV decided to take that part of the video for the same reason. Some kind of parental advisory influence??? let's see.

There's no need. The posting software automatically
detects it and informs the users, unless they do like
this clown and try to munge up the post to get past it.

It was all part of him being a shithead.

This is off-topic. As has been stated many times, any

no go
This has to be said:

No one is missing anything in the Vanessa Carlton video. It's a guy who gets the treatment.

Not trying to violate the no followup decree, but this should spare us all this same argument in the future.

Two pics here: http://www.amandabynesnow.com/retro/amandashow/232/232.htm

There really isn't much to it, but it's cute imagery nonetheless. The scene in question is at the bottom of the page.

During her "Saved by the Bell" days, I saw her appear on some saturday morning teen talk show. I don't remember which one.
The chair she was sitting in had handcuffs on it left over from a previous sketch. She picked them up and said "Oooh, nice handcuffs! Kinky!"

Joan Prather scene
The Joan Prather gagged scene is also part of "Famous T & A", hosted by Sybill Danning. The scene may be listed under the film's alternate title, "Bloody Friday". It may be at your local video store.

RE:GILMORE GIRLS
would love to see that, but very unlikely. How about getting Ms. Rose Mcgowan a long overdue tight cleve on CHARMED. Or Lara Flynn Boyle taken hostage in her nice black dress on the PRACTICE. It's been a while since LFB has gotten the treatment in that good but too short of a scene in PAST TENSE.

According to my local newspaper's TVWeek: "Billie (Tiffani Thiessen) becomes a murder suspect in Part 2 of the new episode 'Offense.' Eager to stop a wave of cop killings, especially with an Internal Affairs detective breathing down her back, she tries to solve the case on her own. Her actions leave her accused of killing the crime kingpin suspected of being the mastermind of the police-officer shootings."

From what little I've seen of Fastlane, I have to believe that most males in the age 18-49 demographic who have a working remote control are only watching the show for Thiessen. And as the ratings are showing, having her walking around headquarters and speaking into a headset isn't cutting it. So perhaps we'll see more of her doing Field work. That of course, would be good news for us, as storylines involving pursuing lesbian catburglars such as Jaime Pressley make for DiD possibilities.

1st to Die February 23 (NBC)
Today's Parade Magazine "In Step" column feature of Tracy Pollan notes that she'll be starring in the new 3-hour NBC movie "1st to Die", based on the novel by James Patterson.

I'm not familiar with the novel (and anyway, we're all aware of how Hollywood adaptations tend to vary from the book), but I will note the Wish-list quality of the casting. :-) All have had at least one notable scene in the Database:

Tracy Pollan (Abduction of Kari Swenson) as the homicide cop stalking a serial killer.

Pam Grier (numerous) as her best friend.

Megan Gallagher (Blind Obsession) as the Assistant D.A.

Carly Pope (Popular) as a young reporter.

That juc=dge who made her stand in the corner for punishment in one episode would definitely have reason to have the baliff tape gag Lara's charector in court..That has happened in real life which of course is off topic so I can't mention it here ;)

Problem is she's in prison for the entire episode. So unless a fellow con has some duct tape....

Actually, they abandoned that concept after the first few episodes. She's been in the field for the last 6 to 8 episodes, with several setups that went by the board. The worst of which was a shootout in a garage, and the bad guys grabbed the male co-lead to kidnap instead of Thiessen. If I had to bet on it, I'd say she's going to be tied up by the end of the season, but I said the same about Jill Hennessy and we know how that's going.

"Paige abducts her ex-boyfriends's fiancee", episode "House Call". WB 8PM EST. Voodoo makes the girls go bad; is this a repeat?

The ad in TV Guide magazine terms this an "All New" episode": "The sisters conjure a witch doctor to rid the mansion of the evil entities haunting the home, but the magical exterminator soon develops his own anti-Charmed Ones agenda."

So, does she keep her in the attic, bound and gagged, or banish her to the underworld where she is surrounded by fire and not seen the entire episode... ummm, I wonder. But then again, Paige is the one sister who would gloat and taunt her prisoner and get away with it.

Russian bondage scenes, etc.
I always wondered whether the Russians had any kind of
bondage scenes in their commercial mediums. I'd like to find out more on this.
Also the rest of eastern Europe, Greece, Cambodia, etc. etc.
Anybody out there know anything? MK

I found a *Charmed* site (URL below) with a spoiler for the episode that says Paige kidnaps the fiancee by "orbing her to hell," so unless she orbs her into the "Maidens Languishing in Chains" wing there's probably nothing to look forward to... :-( ...other than another opportunity to leer at the Charmed Ones. :-)

thanks Van, I didn't see that quote but it doesn't take a genius to guess what that show is about... oh well.

Dragnet - possible alert
Well, if there's nothing on Charmed, it's probably worth keeping an eye on Dragnet, ABC 10/9pm. As posted weeks ago, one of the promos features some bound damsels. No one is sure if the scene will appear in the premiere episode, but keep an eye out. I just posted a similar message in the VCR Alerts page too.

=======
It looks like another *Classic* missed opportunity. Witchdoctors use voodoo to make the Charmed Ones obsessive, so... Piper obsesses on cleaning, Phoebe on a eliminating a rival columnist, & Paige with her ex-boyfriend, so... imagine if Paige *HAD* orbed the fiancee into the attic & kept her B&G'd! Piper could clean around her, Phoebe could stomp around muttering to herself about her rival, & Paige could preen herself in the mirror (dressed in the fiancee's wedding gown.) All the while the fiancee would be struggling against her bonds & m'mmpfhing! ...& being completely ignored! It could have been the best episode this season, even for non-DiD-fans. :-)

Murder on the Dance Floor
I saw a little bit of a music video with this name--in the middle, there was a cloro handgag/grab of the female lead. Anything else of interest? What is the artist's full name? All I caught was 'Sophie' something something. Thanks.
