Sunday March 02 00:25:24 2003 Site news |
I'm changing ISP at the end of March, and since my new ISP does not provide webspace, I will have to find an alternative host for my website.
This month will be very hectic for me, and I don't know whether I will have much time to research and find the right host. I'll certainly do my best. So the purpose of this post is to ask people here if they know of a good reliable host, bearing in mind that I only need 10 MB of webspace, with FTP access. Would certainly appreciate it of you could let me know via email below. |

Yes, there was a scene, as I said, the female lead is suspended hands overhead with chains and also weights are attached to chains on her feet. She is not gagged. Devil's Prey also aired tonight, it did have a gag scene but is not a premiere and is not new to this board so I didn't mention it. |

The critical aspect for most sites that get a lot of visitors or which contain a lot of pics is bandwidth. Do you know how much bandwidth you use or want to use in a month? |

Like, Simpsons occasions. I sure don't remember any promos highlighting the deathtrap aspects of the show. Did anybody else out there see them? Because if they didn't promote the deathtraps along with the sexy bods (I'm ASSUMING they promoted the sexy bods) you can't blame them for failing to pull in an audience. Remember, it's very commonplace in the case of movies to actually provide DiD images that are not actually in the movie to promote it. |

Pat's right, storage in inconsequential. By the time you get a package with enough bandwidth for an image site, you'll have storage galore. Don't believe ones that say "unlimited bandwidth". The fine print shows that it is no such thing. You'll have to figure out your real needs (page views X size of page will give you a rough estimate). |

I recall one victim being led to a boat with a lemon or orange stuffed into her mouth and then dumped overboard. Does anyone besides me think Cassandra Peterson is hot in her Elvira character? I caught the Elvira's Haunted Hills movie (yes I actually did pay $3.99 but it was worth it..no more no less) and there were a few interesting scenes: Elvira being stretched on the rack (no gag), Elvira tied to a stone slab with a pendulum swinging inches away from her very tight body (no gag..damn them), her assistant in a cage with a cleave gag but curiously not tied (in one scene she actually put her hands to her face in fright but didn't think "Hey maybe I can use these to take the gag out"). |

Hello all,
I've updated Knotbusters for March. A new chapter of my story is up, along with vidcaps from "First Watch" and "Acapolco Heat". And a new scan, as well. You'll also find vidcaps from the film "The Abductors", and several other flicks. So the Baywatch movie had some scenes, eh? Now I'm sorry I missed this. Oh well, the hunt begins. |

Nicolette Sheridan didn't have her head under water in Deceptions but there was an episode of The Profiler that had a woman left bound and gagged in a tub with the water still running. She had her head under water just before being rescued. |

Sunday March 02 08:32:16 2003 Jessica Marie Alba |
Perhaps in the database, all data should be changed to "Jessica Alba" and use 1 name for 1 actress on all data.
She is more popular as Jessica Alba, not Jessica Marie Alba. (Similar to Farrah Fawcett Majors) |

I am sorry but when I went looking for a domain name & webspace I could not find a free one that would work. I found DirectNIC. $15.00 per year for a domain name $15.00 per year for 20Mb webspace that includes 2Gb bandwidth Additional bandwidth is $6.00 per 2Gb If you do not have a credit card, there is a $10.00 fee for processing a check/money order I love these guys. You get 2 months warning email before doman names expire. You get 7 days warning before bandwidth runs out. Besides, the ladies below are not complaining about the service: |

Sunday March 02 13:12:50 2003 Movie: "Kill Me Later" |
A few days ago, HBO showed a movie late-night, starring Selma Blair, called "Kill Me Later." The brief description in TV Guide said, "A suicidal woman (Selma Blair) becomes a bank robber's hostage." I've checked the Scene Database but there was no mention of the movie (or Selma Blair, who is hot). Has anyone seen it? Is there anything of interest to us? Thanks. |

Brian, I noticed this problem months ago but kept forgetting to mention it to Jay over on DBC. If you do a search under Jessica Alba you don't get the early scenes where she's listed as Jessica Marie Alba. Likewise, a search under Jessica Marie Alba only gives you her early scenes. A search under just "Alba" will give you everything. |

The searches are for exact string matches, and since the DB entries have the correct name at the time, searching under her current name doesn't match. We could go put AKAs in for all those, but I'm not sure that's warranted. I do need to put an instruction sheet with a link in the Results page to help people out. |

A search under just "Alba" will give you everything. I've found the best thing is to make the search reasonably broad, and then narrow down. Particularly with a last name like "Alba", it's pretty likely you'll only get what you're looking for. And names like Powers, Rigg, Hatcher-- they're unique enough that it's just easier to search that way. |

I went to the database. I entered the name Jessica Alba. All I got was the listings for Dark Angel and the movie Paranoid. However, when I entered the name Jessica Marie Alba, I got the listings for Flipper, Idle Hands, and P.U.N.K.S., but not for Dark Angel or Paranoid. I saw a promo this weekend that seemed to indicate that it's the one where Alyssa Milano gets turned into a mermaid and spends some time onscreen with her breasts covered by nothing more than a coating of latex paint. It also has a scene for Holly Marie Coombs, who's chained to a metal frame that's hoisted into the water, later plunging into it, but no gag. |

Sunday March 02 20:08:50 2003 Nightmare in Columbia County |
DId anyone else try to grab the scene from "Nightmare in Columbia County" that aired today on Lifetime? The Database says the girl is seen in the back seat of the kidnapper, kicking her tied feet & cleave gagged. The scene began, we can hear her yelling (sounded like she was gagged) and we see her feet as the baddie opens the door to pull her out. I assumed this would be when we saw her, but then there was an abrupt cut to another scene....it looked like an edit, not just a scene change. So there were absolutely no shots of the girl at all in the movie. Has anyone else seen this movie, maybe on another channel, with the scene intact? I wouldn't think Lifetime would edit a movie made specifically for Lifetime, but I guess they saw fit to. Bummer!!! Grrr! |
