Re: "The Power" Fails to Produce
As I posted the last time this one came up, I saw the flick in the theatre back in '68 (having seen the famous lobby card photo!), and there was no scene. So, I can't say it NEVER existed, but I'd be surprised to find it anywhere.

Didn't lead to anything. He did handgag her hard for a couple seconds, then tossed her on the ground. Maura was able to buzz for help and the calvalry came in. At least we've got "Oxygen."

They were knocked out cold. The sound effects came when they were stun-gunned and dropped to the floor. The second chick did a terrific fall to the floor when she gets KO'd by Esposito. This is the same one gagged onscreen. The scene was interrupted twice by very quick scene shifts to other parts of the casino. Both are dragged unconscious to the back room. I'm so hoping there's something more on the DVD. Maybe some outtakes or extended scenes.

This scene DOES NOT EXIST. Here's what happens in the episode, Janet makes some snide remark to Jack, he comes up behind her with a towel, WRAPS the towel around her NECK, twirls her around and jokingly says something about wanting to strangle her.

I've seen every episode of this show numerous times. Not only in it's original run, but the syndicated cut, the TBS cut and the hacked up version that now runs on Nick at Nite.

I'm certain it's scene creep on someone's part. I'm also certain that I've DELETED this from the database twice myself in the past year but someone keeps putting it back in.

I doubt it's been deleted twice this year, since we're
currently on record 8653. I don't think we've laid in
4000 entries this year. Sounds like editor creep ;)

You are both wrong. The episode was on late at night recently. I missed the end of an NCAA tourney game to watch the portion in question.

Here's the plot, at least what I remember:

Jack and Chrissy go to the Regal Beagle. While they're there, some guy (James Cromwell, I believe) makes a move on Chrissy. (Wouldn't you?) She turns him down. He says something rude.

Jack and Chrissy go back to their Kingdom By The Sea. The guy shows up. He says something Jack doesn't like, so Jack hits him and knocks him out.

When he comes to, he announces that he's a cop. The threesome try to talk the guy out of arresting Jack. At some point, Janet says something moronic, so Jack swings into action. That's when she gets silenced with the towel. If anyone in the world thinks Joyce DeWitt was attractive, they might like this scene.

For any who care about the rest of the show, Jack gets hauled into jail. He's about to get his ass royally kicked when the other prisoners find out he decked the cop, who is pretty large. (although I might be confusing this part with another show)

Anyway, the inmates quickly back down, and Jack starts bossing them around. I think at some point Mr. Roper (what a name) shows up and we start to get the double entendre gay jokes. Then Jack gets released.

Fade to credits and ultra-annoying song. (Although I did like the part at the beginning where Chrissy is sunbathing.)

In case anyone asks, I don't know the name of the episode.

Three's Company Scene Does Exist
The episode is titled Chrissy's Night Out and guest stars James Cromwell as Det. Lannigan. Jack ko's Lannigan for calling Chrissy a hooker. When Lannigan comes to, Janet explains what is going on and Jack, behind her, cleave-gags her with the scarf he is holding. I saw it on it's original run and taped it on PRIME a couple of years ago.

I completely agree! The only scene I really liked was when she was b&g on a bed with that velcro set. A scene I rather enjoyed was when the attractive mom and cutie pie daughter got it.

Thank you (and gasface also) for the information. I know what episode it is now. I missed it the last time it was on Nick-at-Nite but I will get it next time.

For fans of Joyce DeWitt, handgags, and faux gags, there are two other scenes worth mentioning:

The one where Jack purchases a mink coat (with Mr. Roper's money) for Mr. Roper to give to Mrs. Roper and Crissy mistakenly thinks it is for her: Jack handgags Janet (Joyce DeWitt) long enough for him to tell her that he bought it for Mr. Roper. Janet says behind the handgag in gag-talk "You bought it for Roper?" After Jack removes his hand we see Janet wiping the saliva from her lips.

The one where Larry is (temporarily) in love with Janet: Larry sticks a long-stem rose (or some other flower) between Janet's teeth. There is a good closeup.

There may be other episodes where Janet gets handgagged.

Since it's a network ad, I'd guess not.

You may not be missing much though. My issue shows only half each of Combs's blindfold and MacGowan's gag. Naturally, Milano, whose picture shows nothing of interest here, is in the center and seen fully. Producer's prerogative, I guess.
btw, my TV Guide is the Brooklyn/Queens edition (NYC). Does every one else have the same layout, or do some have full pictures?

I've also got the half-page with exactly what you described. And I agree, whoever doesn't have this isn't missing anything. It's more worthless garbage from a worthless show. Although it is pretty idiotic to do a promo like that and cut off half the image.

At the end of today's episode, a blonde (Courtney?) is bound, seated, and gagged with a thick white (but somewhat loose) cloth. This is after some hand gaggage as well.

General Hospital
In today's episode, "Faith" (Cyndy Preston) was shown bound and blindfolded. No gag.

"Courtney" (Alicia Leigh Willis) was captured by "Ric." At the very end of the episode, "Jason" bursts into Ric's apartment to find Courtney bound and gagged. It is a white cleave gag. The preview for Monday's episode showed more footage.

Yes, it is Courtney. The gag could have been tighter in the shot at the end of the episode. However, the gag was tighter in the preview for Monday's episode.

Re: Canadian It Soap- Bondage Video Alert?
Have any Canucks or Northern Yanks been paying close attention to Italian soap Cuori Rubati @7:30pm TLN channel?

Taped & scanned yesterday's ep,
which featured believe Niseem Onorato's character finding a bondage video? Possibly involving Frederica Lardo?
He plays it whilst cracking up, for a lady lawyer?
I think she's assisting Marco Basile's character in court or something?
Lingerie clad ladies (one Lardo?) hop on a bed, one pulls off Lardo's stocking, ties her hands behind, then they smirk into the camera.

Haven't really been keeping close eye on the soap due to games on same time, Marco's character struck me as a pretty boy-straight arrow type and they were dragging on with Samia Kassir pregnancy plot,
so wondering if there's more to this bondage video plot I missed?
Or this just out of the blue?

Let me know for a decent DB entry and VHS machine alert?

"Totally Spies" burnout?
> > I never get sick of a series that produces bondage scenes with GAGS.
>

I agree on TV series.

However, an "issue" I see with Bondage Photo-manipulation sites is that the pictures are heavily weighted towards Late Teens - Twentysomething actresses and Pop stars -- No doubt influenced by the age group of the majority of the active Photomanipulators.

Nothing wrong with that per se, but I find it remarkable that after seeing the 100th Britney Spears or Sarah Michelle Gellar bondage fake, that both the artists and the viewers would still be able to hold the same interest. On the other hand, other Wish-list subjects, such as hotties currently in their 30's - 40's as well as "Dream women" of say, the 1970's & 1980's have been rather neglected (with perhaps the exception of Wonder Woman bondage fakes).

I tend to agree, K-N, but there are some fakers, myself included, who have done older and earlier subjects. In the club The IHOB on Lycos I have a suite of 40 "Classic" damsels ranging from silent actress Clara Bow in the 1920s, via Joan Fontaine, Vivien Leigh, Gina Lollobrigida, Brigitte Bardot, Diana Rigg, ABBA and Jenny Agutter, to Sharon Stone. Sadly, I no longer have time to do much faking, though I did succumb to the charms of Rachel True the other day. :-)

I like this scene. She put up a fight before getting subdued. There a was quick hand gag. I like that progression. Then, they show her well tied with stout rope, not some little scarf or some crap. On top of it all, they show a nice closeup, with the full lips, and best of all (from my lonely standpoint) a GREAT flairing of nostrils as she emotes helplessness. WELL DONE GH!

Wouldn't be the first time a still was shot for a scene that never appeared in the movie. One that comes to mind is "The Brasher Doubloon." "Railroaded" seems to be subject to the same debate as this one, but I have a still and have never seen the scene.

Go to Major John's site - leans toward a more equitable distribution of scarves for the more mature ladies occasionally.

Yeah, good thing she didn't try to run away after freeing herself from the guy who was holding her captive. Instead she decides to make a phone call. In keeping with television tradition, its not at all clear why the guy is able to tie her up the second time he grabs her after he had so much trouble the first time.

Yes, I'm a member of your Lycos club suite, and have previously left a Compliment on your exceptional artistic works!

Unfortunately, after your having to answer the call of the "real world", I'm aware of only two other persons who specialize in "adding to the DiD resumes" of our favorite Actresses of the 1950's (or earlier) thru the 1980's.

Jeebus, between LIfetime stuff and the soaps, the majority of scenes have come from programming aimed at women. I'm not sure what to make of this trend. The May sweeps should be interesting.

Nobody's posted about this yet? The scene on the coming attractions last week--Tiffani tied to a chair, getting a needle stuck in her--was the very last scene. In Carl McGuire's "Bound for Hollywood", in the section Volume 1, 1978-1984, it has a pic of Suzanne from the waist up (tied I assume, although you can't see any ropes) with one of those big triangle gags like in the old Westerns being tied around her mouth by a young George Hamilton. Carl's caption says the scene ended up on the cutting room floor, so I don't think anyone has actually seen it.

Sean Young, Chandler & Co., Detective school
Nice to be back. Here are some news items:

As pointed out a while ago by Kinky-napper, the film "Before I say goodbye" with a scene from Sean Young is going to air Saturday night on the PAX network.

Alert to our friends in the San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco area: It looks like "Chandler & Co." is airing on Friday nights on your local PBS station, KTEH. The schedule for May isn't up yet, but it is likely that the "End of Term" episode is coming up either next week or the week after.

Thanks to Fuzz for briefly putting up the "Detective School" caps. This is one of the first scenes I can remember. It took me years to identify (this was BBP- before Brian's Page). I also would like to get a good copy of it. I have a very poor copy which doesn't even have the brief close-up that was shown in Fuzz's caps!

Okay, I'm convinced. I know I deleted it once but it was well over a year ago, I guess. And I really have sat through this show dozens of times as a result of working as a master control operator at an ABC affiliate years ago. I guess I became so numbed by it I didn't notice the scene. Sorry for the erroneous info.
