Re: Tied hands under trick?
Follow the homepage link to a small album showing a 'couple of friends' have a 'contest' doing this.

The pics make it look very possible.

Something else besides the general flexibility and arm length of the damsel, that must be taken into account, is the size of the damsel's butt.

I would venture to guess that J-Lo would have a rather difficult time executing this particular maneuver :-)

They do. Of course we can't really see how well they were cuffed/tied to start. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I still think if the hands are even tied somewhat tight it would be very difficult. It would appear the shorter the damsel, the better chance.

Kaley Cuoco from 8 Simple Rules
Well, have been hoping in vein for a scene from Kaley, so have to go with the promo bone ABC threw.

Actually J-Lo did this maneuver when she had her hands cuffed behind her in "Out of Sight".

Meredith Henderson did the trick in 'Shirley Holmes', thanks to a heavy jacket and loose ropework.

Can someone confirm if this scene actually takes place. Carrie is still a cutie (if fading a bit fast).

Yes, it is easier with handcuffs, at least if there is a chain of reasonable length between the cuffs. Actually, I find it annoying when a damsel's hands are cuffed wide apart and she never tries to bring her hands to the front, even when she has the opportunity.

It's second only to having-her-hands-tied-in-front-without-removing-her-gag.

Melinda Clarke also does the handcuff maneuver in an episode of Special Ops Force.

Last night on "24" on Fox, there was a short but nice handcuff scene. Michelle (one of the CTU agents) was arrested for disobeying orders. She submissively puts her hands behind her back and is cuffed. There's a quick shot of her being led away.

Rescue DIDs that've been 'Grabbed by the Ghoulies' in this new videogame (see images below).

Also, a company called Elixir is working on a game called 'Evil Genius':
---Set up as villain numero uno, you'll be in charge of your very own secret island base - a personal boyhood dream - and various thugs, henchmen and a plethora of traps and gadgets to thwart the plans of sneaking spies.

According to Elixir, being top nasty geezer isn't as easy as simply issuing snarling threats and conjuring up dastardly ways to kill off would-be heroes. Oh no. You see, you'll have to, perish the thought, actually build and maintain your secret base, train up henchmen and defend your stronghold from nosey-parker spy types.---

Best to cut 'n' paste these:

All My Children
New all-time low in thugery on "All My Children." Mia, even on crutches and a broken leg, dominated the goon who hand-gagged her in three subsequent struggles. Show ended with them each reaching for the gun, and preview showed the goon likely getting shot as the gun goes off in the struggle.

On same episode, Bianca and Kendall are involved in a scheme against two crooks. Kendall got caught snooping around in the crook's house but preview showed her talking her way out of it. Will keep an eye on this storyline anyway.

Talk about getting Paige Turco in the nick of time. Its always great when you get this decent to excellent scenes just before cancellation. My all-time favorite is Shannon Kenny getting bound and gagged on "The Invisible Man" just 4 episodes before it got canceled. Whew!!!!

Weak CBS lineup
A quick glance at CBS' new lineup doesn't show much hope for scene potential. Many bad sitcoms and fluffy hour shows. New "Jag" spinoff and a "Cold Cases" show with a female detective could lead to something. "Without a Trace" and "Hack" both return for 2nd seasons.

Shirley Holmes Tied-Up Mysteries
I'm looking for pics of Meredith Henderson as Shirley from The Adventures of Shirley Holmes. In one show, she was looking for a stolen horse and when she found it, the bad guys showed up and after commercial, she was in a hay loft, hands possibly behind her, possibly her feet too, and a gag. Anyone have pics of her? I'm desparate!

Yeah, but hopefully this will be more than counterbalanced -- and by that I mean WAY more than counterbalanced -- by two new men's networks, Maxim and whatever TNN's gonna be calling itself come June.

I'm hoping there'll be some original programming, and it'll be DiD-friendly. Certainly, the guys at Maxim know their readership likes bondage to judge from the magazine.

New show on ABC
from E!online, describing ABC's new lineup:

<<Karen Sisco: Spy Kids star Carla Gugino takes over Jennifer Lopez's big-screen role from the Elmore Leonard movie Out of Sight, about a tough, sexy U.S. Marshal in Miami. >>

Presumably she'll do the hands-from-behind-back-to-front trick.

Tonight on UPN:
ENTERPRISE (the second of two new episodes.)
From the UPN web site:
-------
Don't miss "Bounty" at 9PM
When T’Pol prematurely experiences severe symptoms of Pon Farr, the Vulcan mating cycle in which she has to mate or she will die, she begins to make advances on Phlox and Reed, and the crew is forced to find a way to help her.
-------
From the previews we already know there'll be gratuidous use of decontamination gel, but given that Vulcans are *very* strong (relative to humans), you don't suppose some sort of... dare I ask it... *restraints* will be required before they can "help" her, do you? :-)

I missed "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" last night, so I missed any scenes from future episodes of the program. Could you please elucidate? What exactly did you see? Was Kaley Cuoco(Italian for "cook") bound and gagged?

Restraints or no, any chance to view 'The Best Chest in StarFleet' in what the previews show to be some very interesting/skimpier attire canNOT be missed. If many Vulcan women look like Joleen B., I long ago concluded that I'm living on the wrong planet...errr...Earth, that is.

It's simply a photo promotional spot that ABC has been showing for a couple months playing on the relationship between the daughters. It may have run in TV Guide at some point but I'm not sure. I haven't seen this show, but there's been no scene with Kaley, otherwise the board would be jumping.

Primer Impacto
Flipping through the channels I came acrossed a music video on Primer Impacto that had a couple dozen people untied but duct taped gagged ,women and men both. Quick shots but looked like some were cute. Primer Impacto re-runs at 10:00 central with a shorter show but it might show up again.

This trick was also done by Humphrey Bogart in The Big Sleep. Bogie was a smallish guy, but no slip of a girl and hardly young (46) when he did it. IIRC Lauren Bacall, quite young (early 20s)and fetching looked on as he performed the escape. Too bad she wasn't secured as well.

That was probably "The Prince Who Was a Thief" and the damsel was, nominally, Piper Laurie, although the trick was obviously done by a stunt double who was a pro contortionist. She went on to wriggle through a very small window, IIRC. Her hands were tied just a bit loosely--though not outrageously so--with a cloth strip. Ms. Laurie, however, seemed to be tied fairly realistically just before that.

It can be done, by some men and some women, which is why the Chinese and Japanese always add ropes that run under the arms and around the back of the neck, and a lot of bondage filmmakers tie the elbows together. Personally I like a rope around the waist.

I noticed this as well while reading about E3, but I never thought to bring it up. Anyway, it's very interesting, as DiD in video games has progressed through time.

Before, the damsels were 2D drawings, but unfortunately, they were more pixelated than real drawings, so they had less detail. Then they were in 3D, but the ropes were often not even rendered at all! (I still remember one of the "you lose" scenarios in Mission Impossible for the N64, in which you and a female character are tied up in a room set to blow up, and the two struggle, and even have their hands behind their backs, but no rope is really visible at all)

Now, we get duct-tape and vines!

I still would like to see DiD appear in games that have a more defined art style - either realistic, or well-done cel-shading (a hand-drawn-looking cartoon style), or even the "painted" style of the more recent Mario games, as this art style looks too "Toy Story" to me. But either way, for once the bonds are rendered and look believable!

I also love that giant lock around the bonds. Typical Rare humor, and though I really don't care for that company's humor and style of games, I think it's a cute touch.

Not true. I have watched many do it. You are right that some people can and some can't. It is a just a matter of arm length v body lebgth abnd body flexibility.

Pokemon Peril!
Attention Toon Bondage Lovers! On today's episode of Pokemon, on YTV, I saw a bondage scene. It started with an underwater battle with Ash and Misty against some wtaer trainer. Later, Team Rock showed up with a machine that sucked in water and Misty and the trainer along with it. Later on the sub, Misty and the trainer were seen tied to a pole, rope around them back to back with tape gags but this didn't last long. Enjoy anyway. If you saw it, could you post some pics?

Speck
Don't know if anyone has posted about this yet, but I got a little suprise at the video store tonight. There was a movie called "Speck", in which a serial killer terrorizes a dormitory of student nurses. Oscar material obviously. Anyway, on the back of the box two of the young, beautiful nurses were shown with very thin cleave gags in their mouths. The plot summary said there is seven nurses that are terrorized. Believe it or not, the movie was checked out, so I could not rent it. Anyone see or hear anything about this movie?

This movie was mentioned on this message board some months ago. I saw the movie, and it was rather grisly and disquieting. About eight young women, either white or Asian, are bound and gagged by the incorrigibly evil Richard Speck. They are gagged with thin cleave gags tied tightly around their mouths.

I think I know what you're talking about. I perused the Website for the TV show, and on it there was a picture of both daughters tied together loosely with crime scene tape. They're both smiling. Is this the image to which you're referring?

The best place to ask is on c3c (Comic/Cartoon Captives). http://groups.yahoo.com/group/c3c is the address. You should get a Yahoo Groups account (it's free and doesn't require having another e-mail address. You can just get a Yahoo address) and check it out.
