Looks like the hosting company had a crash, many of the recent files are wiped out. I have a call in to them to see if any can be restored. If not, the posts are lost and I'll have to fix the database from my personal backups. I'll let you know when I know. |

The latest issue of Entertainment Weakly (It's a double, #716/717-June 27/July 4) has a little insert on page 112 that claims the long awaited Wonder Woman movie is *finally* working its way out of Development Heck. Philip Levens is the latest writer. The article says Levens is "taking his cues from the 70's TV show, equiping Diana Prince's alter ego with bulletproof bracelets and a boomerang tiara." (There's no mention of the magic gold lasso, but only an idiot would not use it. (Then again, Levens worked on Smallville...)) They claim they'll be casting "an actress 'in her early to mid-20's.' (Rumor has it ex-Slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar is hot for the part.)" They should have a director & star in three months.
Two things: (1) WHAT'S WITH IT WITH THESE HOLLYWOOD MORONS??? WHY DID WW LANGUISH IN DEVELOPMENT HECK ALL THIS TIME??? Aaaaaargh!!! (2) We might as well play the game. Who would *you* cast as WW/Diana? |

I'm still trying to get the image of SMG as WW out of my mind. I mean, I loved "Buffy", but... |

WW needs to be a buffed, athletic, acrobat/swimmer/tennis player type with big bazongas. I don't suppose Lynda Carter has a 20-something daughter... :-( |
