Sunday June 22 00:46:19 2003 re: casting WW |
And y'know, Tea Leoni has the build and could be an interesting presence, too. Interesting you should mention Tea Leoni. On her TV show of a few years ago ("The Naked Truth"? Something like that), there was an episode featuring a Wonder Woman costume that was being trekked from town to town for the fans to gawk at. Tea was convinced to put in on for a TV report, and her "playful" co-workers stole her regular clothing, so she was forced to wear the costume home. She really got into the idea of BEING WW. She even stopped some minor crimes in action, I recall, and then hated to give back the costume the next day (she kept the bracelets and wore them under her blouse). Tea was a mite skinny for the part, but she looked cute and certainly could train herself into a more assertive physique. Plus, I don't imagine she's very busy with any other pressing projects at the moment. Leo of the Filing Cabinet Mind |

Angelina Jolie has the both the acting chops and the physical ability [remember that lttle thing called 'Tomb Raider'] to pull it off.
Maybe they could get Bily Bob to play the insane villian :-) |

Jay maybe you could answer this for me.. I used to watch "Littlest Hobo" so far back that I was scamming the adults about a photo class at school while I was taking still photos of the tv screen.. waaay before video.. and I've gotten a couple of the scenes later on on video.. but in very poor quality.. what I'm wondering, is that now that we have quality video and vid caps, is Hobo, to your knowledge, ever playing up there in Canada.. or is it relugated to our fond, but burning out memory banks?? I would sure love to get a few of those episodes, quality taped, for my library.. Thanks again Man!! You're the champ!! |

I'm surprised everyone keeps talking about Catherine Zeta-Jones- Maybe once upon a time, but nowadays she looks down right frumpy! If the producers are really serious about hiring a beautiful, screen scorching, butt kicking babe- what's wrong with Kelly Hu? I'd pay cash-money to see that. |

Bust- C-cup at least. Age- 18 - 29. No visible tatoos or scars." Just those few qualifiers will rule out well over 95% of Hollywood's finest. |

I'm a big Eliza Dushku fan, but I'd have to agree (reluctantly) that she is a little too short.
But an obscure, ethnic-lloking choice would be Venus terzo, an investigator on the canadian cop show "Davinci's Inquest.'' Lovely lady with presence and a good actress. And thanks to Jay L. for the intro to Venus. |

In the new movie "Alex and Emma,'' (shut up, I got dragged there)Sophie Marceau says to her ex, "You should have ctied me up and carried me away.''
And Kate Hudson is my latest "really, REALLY want to see b/g girl.'' Now that I've got Eliza. |

As yet, appears either one b&g'd in motel room (judge's daughter?, or girlfriend? whatever?), or the one with Pete from Mod Squad (secretary b&cleaved in car backseat). May want to check the Canadian alerts for that day in a week or so, unless another Canuck finds a description with episode title before hand? If one you want? Let me know. |

Sunday June 22 12:36:42 2003 B&G on Cheap DVDs |
Buying up cheap DVDs I've come across some great scenes with great quality ...and all for under 10 bucks. From Alpha Video: The Sphinx- an ok scene but wotta cover! (Look it up at Barnes and Noble).) Atwill checks Sheila Terry's gag in a closeup not found in the film.
The Monster Walks- Creaky , spooky old house with a gorilla finds Vera Reynolds B&G to a pole in front of gorilla by disinherited heir.Nice scene. Phantom of Chinatown- My favorite. Lotus Long, a Chinese agent gets B&G in a closet after snooping. Could this be the first Asian B&G scene in the US? |

The two gals as well as two putzes are left B&G in the HQ while two other guys take the villains to the money. Later the two gals are taken away as insurance. Nice scene but the episode itself devotes way too much time to die putzen. |
Sunday June 22 14:43:30 2003 MAXIM Magazine |
The current issue with Charlie's Angels on the cover has a picture where a girl with hands tied behind walks the plank.
The previous issue had a pic of a girl standing up with hands and feet tied in a spreadeagle fashion while a cute 'doctor' holds a piece of rope. |

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned.
It appears that Keira might get a little action in the upcoming "Pirates Of the Carribean". There is a website that features a pic of Keira with a chain draped over her shoulder and chest. http://www.evilchog.co.uk/keira_knightley/film.asp |

Hmm. They portray themselves tied up in a comic strip, and gagged in a photograph. Of course it's all done in good humor. Very neat. |

Sunday June 22 18:32:20 2003 Lucy Lawless as WW |
Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman? I can't believe someone would suggest such a thing! I mean she would have to play a voluptuous, Amazonian action figure in an abbreviated tight costume. I mean isn't that a bit of a stretch for Lucy? What experience could she draw on to play a role like that? I mean really!!!! :-)

I think Holly is right at 30... but doesn't > really look it like Shannen does... I know she's 32... I may be showing my age here, but Shannen Doherty too old to play Wonder Woman?? I'm not sure who decided WW was supposed to be the age of one of the "Party of Five" teeny-bopper set. Like some else said a day or so ago, this is Wonder WOMAN, not Wonder GIRL. I know there are some young'uns here, but I always thought of WW as a fairly mature, 30-something butt-kicker. I consider actresses like Katie Holmes as qualifiers for Wonder Girl (or whatever Debra Winger's character was on the original show). To me, a godd choice for WW would be a nice-looking 330-ish tall actress with some good athletic moves & ass-kicking ability...as much as I do not care for her, Angelina Jolie might fit the bill. Wasn't Lynda Carter in her mid-30's when she played Wonder Woman? |

I consider You know, I think I remember hearing that the guy who created Wonder Woman, a psychologist, was in fact specifically trying to create a woman who boys would look up to. As one article says: -- For him, Wonder Woman was not a role model for girls (as is often claimed) but the vehicle through which he would get young boys used to the idea of strong, dominating women. -- (from http://www.januarymagazine.com/artcult/wonderwoman.html) He even was quoted as saying: "Women are exciting for this one reason -- it is the secret of women's allure -- women enjoy submission, being bound." "I have developed elaborate ways of having Wonder Woman and other characters confined ... confinement to WW and the Amazons is just a sporting game, an actual enjoyment of being subdued." Maybe he was one of us (more or less)? |

> {Snip} ...I'm not sure who decided WW was
> supposed to be the age of one of the "Party of Five" > teeny-bopper set... Well, JP... Who decided? THE GUYS WHO ARE MAKING THE MOVIE!!! :-) As stated earlier, this makes sense from a Hollywood perspective. They can make "WW-1" an "Origin of..." movie, & by the time they get to "WW-5: WW & WGirl on Gor," their star won't be in her 50's. (This is sometimes referred to as "Harrison Ford Syndrome.") Don't get me wrong; there are some seriously foxy actresses in their fifties, but even Sigourney Weaver or Susan Sarandon would look out of place in a standard WW costume. |

Sunday June 22 23:52:37 2003 Pamela Anderson in "Stripperella" |
I just saw a preview of the new TV series that will include Pam's voice in "Stripperella", a comic book heroin by Stan Lee and now the new animated series that will air in TNN. It caught my atention because of the special outfit from her that reminds me of Franco Saudelli's THE BLONDE...and the show announces that is going to be an adult animated series, so we can expect some cartoon bondage with Pam's delighful "mmmphs". Are the producers gonna be interested in "adult" themes like bondage???
