Could that Code 11-14 movie on CBS be far behind? It's been pulled twice, once in the fall of 2001 and then in spring 2003 after war in Iraq started. |
Sunday July 13 02:25:40 2003 Red Cap?? |
Anyone familiar with the British series "Red Cap"? It just started running on BBC America. Seems to be a cross between "JAG" and "CSI". Tamzin Outhwaite is the female lead.
Out of the six episodes and the pilot movie listed at epguides.com there seems to be a lot of potential in this show. The pilot deals with a Colonel's missing wife. Subsequent episodes deal with a missing female reporter, a kidnapped female Lieutenant and Tamzin goes undercover to catch a drug dealer in the final episode of the season. |

She first appears b&g around the 15min mark right before the first commercial break. The bad guys open up a coffin and Amy's bound and gagged inside. After the commercial, she's still tied and gagged while as she is dragged into a saloon where the bad guys try to sell her. The gag is removed around the 25min mark, but she's shown with her hands tied for a few more minutes as the hero comes to her rescue. I did a quick scan of the rest of the movie and there didn't appear to be anything else. The good news is if you missed it, it will repeat on Thursday, the 24th. |

Nothing else.. that was it, but a pretty decent movie. About 20 minutes in, the outlaws arrive at a saloon. When the bartender says he'd pay a hundred in gold for a woman, the lead bad guy says "Show him what we got." Time to start taping. They go outside and open a coffin (?) leaning against the wall, and therin is the pink power ranger, fairly nicely cleave gagged, wrists bound up above her head. From a distance then you see her being struggled into the saloon.. Commercial. After commercial, her fairly tight, tied under her hair cleave has become a how is she keeping that thing on tied over her hair cleave.. Scene doesn't last much longer, but there are several more closeups, and it is Amy Jo boys.. and she's looking just fine IMHO! I'm stoked that a guy on the west coast..that would be me.. tripped onto this possibility that panned out and notified the rest of you~! And starring the pink power ranger no less!! Been a long time since I've been able to contribute in this fashion.. Feels good! And thanks to CM for his identifying the damsel, way ahead of time! |

Sunday July 13 06:15:39 2003 Critical Assembly |
"Critical Assembly" was a total bust, but of course, "Hard Ground" paid off quite nicely. One thing about TV movies with Burt Reynolds, you have a good chance of seeing a gagged female. Curious how his other films tend to be just the opposite. |

One nice touch, though...if you look closely you can see that the center portion of the cloth gag, the part thru her mouth, is quite a bit darker than the rest of the cloth. It appeared wet with saliva, as if Amy Jo had had it on a LONG time and it had been pretty tight (or else she is a MAJOR drooler!). I always like seeing a saliva-darkened gag! And good job David for the heads up on this movie...I never would have given it a thought otherwise (as seriously, I was about to post that last nite but was falling asleep at the computer!) |

Sunday July 13 08:55:52 2003 Richard Lynch (aka "Mr B&G"?) |
I've always considered the presence of veteran bad guy character actor Richard Lynch to raise hopes for a TV or movie b&g scene. He's been able to score roles as the evil captor in a HIGH number of classic scenes with wishlist damsels:
* Vegas ("Kill Dan Tanna") w/ Phyllis Davis b&g. * Sword and the Scorcer (1982) w/ princess Kathleen Beller b&g. * The Barbarians (1987) w/ his queen Virginia Bryant b&g (studded leather strap gag); later disciplined at the whipping post by Lynch for rebelling against him. * Hunter ("The Legion-Part 2") w/ Stepfanie Kramer b&g'd in two different scenes/positions. And even Lynch's non-gag scenes have been memorable: * T.J. Hooker ("Carnal Express"). Stacy Sheridan goes undercover as a go-go dancer :-). After admiring Heather Locklear's two dance numbers, Lynch's white slave ring snaps up the bait, chloroforming her as she leaves her apt. * Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ("Vegas in Space"): Ana Alicia strapped to a chair for interrogation. IMO, Lynch's agent has been earning his commission. |

Sunday July 13 08:59:37 2003 Britney's bracelets |
With any luck, I will have successfully linked to a new pic of Britney Spears from the W magazine at the URL below. Suggestive at best, but hey, works for me. |

I'd been waiting for this shoot... Haven't seen W yet on the stands. But considering that in the rest of the shoot, Britney is hanging around some kind of curvy ladder like contraption that she could easily be tied to, it also looks like a little bit of a missed opportunity. Perhaps they'll be more shots in the magazine? In any case, it looks like Britney is in a provocative mood to get her career back. Hopefully the crew at Blender will get it right when its their turn--they did well by Xtina. |

Nick wrote:

How about who's your biggest miss on that list? I've lost interest in Kirstie Alley, so I'd say Nia Peeples (Greyman's page said it best on her: "Even Walker couldn't gag her) and Christina Cox, who had some tie-ups on "FX; The Series" but was never gagged despite a couple perfect setups. |
Sunday July 13 11:46:46 2003 Fantasy Island, Painful |
Hi
There are several entries of "Fantasy Island" TV Series in DB, unfortunately there are 2 different version, 1978 and 1998. Can someone add the year / version after the title? Fantasy Island #2551: A painful way to release the rope: One of the male heroes (old actors) push the other male hero (bound on a chair with wheel) down the stairs. The second hero repeat the same painful way with the first hero. Fortunately they did not repeat the same procedure with the DID! |
Sunday July 13 11:55:51 2003 USA Today on Hotel Trends |
<<<Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Atlantic City's first new casino hotel in more than a decade, touts such suggestive amenities as shower stalls big enough for two and doorknob signs that read "tied up" instead of "do not disturb.">>>
If anyone wanted to go there and remake the 'Partners in Crime' episode where Loni and Lynda go undercover at a spa, the bad guy could throw the 'tied up' sign on the door after leaving them exactly that way. |

Good idea! It could be either a remade Partners in Crime episode or in a new TV or movie production. You could do a Lifetime (Television for seeing women in trouble) movie which starts with two or three lovely ladies B&G'd. You could use flasbacks to show how they got into that perdicament, with occasional scenes of futile struggling and mmmphing. Towards the end of the movie they would be rescued and felp capute the bad person (preferably a villainess). To top it off you coulkd work a line in the script to the effect that the gals were "tied up" or "caught in a bind". |

But the scene database, as good as it is, is probably not exhaustive K-n. Can anyone think of actresses who have had multiple (call it 2 or more) ties but, to date, no gags? Christina Applegate immediately (hummannah) comes to mind but I'm sure there are others. I don't recall this having been discussed before but forgive me Mr. Moderator if we've beaten this horse to death - thought it might be worth discussing. |

Thanks for the tip, and I do read this board everyday, but somehow missed what this is. Is it cable? A movie? Or what? Thanks. |

Sunday July 13 17:29:16 2003 Downloadable TV listings? |
Anyone know if there are any locations from which once can download TV listings, en masse, in a relatively machine-readable format?
Because what we need, you do realize, is a program that automatically cross-references Brian's database with what's airing and generates alerts. This would be a BIG programming project -- especially because of all the "fuzzy matching" which would be required to do the job right -- and *not one to which I can presently commit, so calm down already*. Still, I like kicking these ideas around from time to time. |

I'm pretty sure there's a site where you can type in a name of a movie and find out when it's supposed to air and on what channel. If someone could rig up something similar to one of those applications that automatically fills out forms, you could at least run periodic checks of the most desirable targets. I'll look into it today, but I don't guarantee that I'll find out anything. |

As mentioned in the alert, it repeats tonight, and I'm set to grab it. I don't normally do caps (which are more time-consuming for me than clips), but I could probably make a few if nobody else is able to step up. |
