| I'm a big fan of hearing about actresses talk about their bondage scenes in films. I can't help but wonder what it must have been like for Biel to be gagged with duct tape wrapped around her mouth several times like in Ulee's Gold. Just wondering, but do you fellas think she was really gagged with duct tape in that scene or do you think they used something else, because that must have hurt coming off. They wrap it like several times around her head. |

| By the way, the Spider-Woman image I just posted comes from Felon's old "Helpless Heroines" site. (I thought I should give credit where credit is due.) It was a great site (containing scans of boung and gagged damsels from comic books), and a few remnants of it are still drifting about on the web. |

If you recall Martika's scene from WISEGUY ... she's shown having duct tape wrapped around her head. That well could have been the unadulterated genuine article ... but since its application isn't shown from the git-go, it's logical to surmise the protection was already in place. There's this material called Bondage Tape that's self-adhering and has been used in commercial imagery ... I don't recall offhand if I've ever seen a possible instance of its use in a mainstream context. It doesn't come in silver that I'm aware of (I've seen black, red, and pink ... possibly white) ... but certainly the prop folks can concoct something similar when necessary. |

| Kellie Martin, looking absolutely terrific by the way, stars in this Hallmark original movie on Sunday at 8 p.m. Kellie tries to solve a murder on her own. TV Guide says: "The role of gumshoe is so ill-fitting (of Martin), it's just painful to watch...."
Would have preferred something like "The movie has a typical ending where Martin's character is captured and held bound and gagged before she can catch the killer." Preview did show Kellie getting grabbed from behind in her apartment. Who knows. Maybe? |

| Since somebody's brought up the subject of friendly fire hand gags, I'd like to bring up the subject of one that makes no sense. In Tom Baker's penultimate DOCTOR WHO story "The Keeper of Traken" Nyssa (Sarah Sutton) springs the Doctor, Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) and her father Tremas (Anthony Ainly) while hiding from the guards, the Doc, for some unknown reason clamps a hand of Nyssa's mouth. Can anybody figure out why? |

It is a good question and I am sure they did not just use regular off the shelf duct tape. LOL However you never know and I would bet % 99 of the time we see scenes like this in movies it is a very safe bet that someone on the production has a keen interest in bondage , so they may strive for more realistic gags just like one of us would. I have gagged a girl friend with real duct tape around the head and with the harir up the main problem is the back of the neck. That hair really got pulled and she was pissed at me for a few hours. LOL I have this on video tape to by the way and she is a very hot 19 year old blond. The new TCM sceneS are going to be some of the best ever. Did you see how close the video footage looks like the promo picks ? And how they show the close up of her ass when she is walking up to the house in those tight jeans ? That shows a great film crew and director and I am srure the movie will be a smash. |

The cover you refer to comes from Spider-Woman #6, in which the comic creators took a little creative license. They took the damsel bound-to-a-chair-and-gagged scene from the previous issue and combined it with the Werewolf story from the current issue. So, while it's true that nothing like the cover appears in issue #6, it does appear in issue #5, except without the Werewolf. I always hear people complaining about the faux pas on the cover of #6. Me, I've got no complaints. (Again the scan comes from Felon's old site.) |

E.g., The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes "The Abbey Grange" (where Holmes recognized the knots as likely to have been tied by a sailor), or Jonathan Creek "The Wrestler Tomb" (our kind of forensic shooting re-creation). |

| On G-MaN's site there's a nice (among other nice) scene from ATWT.
The DiD must be Terri Conn, who, tied to a chair, utters these words to her (boy)friend who is recovering from a knock-out: "Now that you had your beauty sleep, maybe you could help me out of these ropes?". I would add the scene to the DB - where it isn't now-if someone knew when it was aired? These soaps do not have ep names or numbers, an airing date (appr) would help. |

| New movie that came out yesterday has a scene
"Murder By Design" Deborah Sheridan Talyor she's very well bound (think cameron diaz's chairtie in "Head above water") & gagged briefly with tape (one nice shot) she's tied to the chair in one of the stills on the back of the movie box so i doubt anyone will miss it ;) |

tonight @ nine on TV Land Britt Ekland will have her hands tied above her head to a bed post while she is standing.The episode has to do with Wuthering Heights Tomorow @ 8 the one featuring Joan Collins is also the one where Larry Linville(Frank Burns) has telekenetic powers. I'm fairly sure that a damsel is tied in BOTH of those plotlines...I didn't recall it being Joan but I'm not sure I was familiar with her at the time. |

Heather Thomas is bound and gagged by the villain, who is masquerading as a policeman. She is tied to a chair and cleave-gagged with a red bandana. The scene is rather lengthy, and quite enjoyable, as she struggles sexily and makes unintelligible noises through her gag for a prolonged period of time. I know she is wearing denim jeans, which was a staple of her wardrobe on "The Fall Guy"; I think she is wearing a snug t-shirt as well, one that accentuates her mammaries. The villain who was pretending to be a policeman had long hair, which was tied in a knot behind his head. I don't know how he carried out his deception; I don't think any police force in this country has such lax regulations for hair for its uniformed officers. |

I do not mean to imply that her gag scene caused her to have to get short hair but it could've been acceptable to her because she was going to just cut it off anyway. Of course, they just as easily could have taped over hair extensions if she'd already gotten a short haircut. |
