Most people would be surprised how many people are actually wearing wigs when they are on screen, not their real hair. |

| anyone out there have the goodlife network on they,re cable?
i learned about it from fuzz on his webpage. anyway, according to the tv now page schedule, on the 3rd of sep. and the 9th, they will be playing "77 sunset strip" episode "the canine caper". it contains a brief scene with 2 women bound and detective gagged with thick white cloth. it occurs , i think , in the last couple of minutes of the program. its a great scene for any fans of retro dids. |

She and her microphone (!) were taped quite thoroughly to chairs. |

Yes, there was one issue where Miss Dickering was bound to a chair with lots of tape & tape gagged (along with her microphone) and remained that way for the entire story. One neat thing was it showed her singing a song in her head (via the "thought bubble") to the tune of "Love Story". If I recall correctly, one line of the song went something like "A gag is in my mouth...so I must think these words instead of singing out loud...wrapped up just like a mummy in a shroud...and here I wait" or something like that. Another kinda cool scene in Cracked I remember was in an article called "The Last Word Before the Hang-Up!", and one panel showed a housewife bound & cleave gagged by a burgler, who is holding the phone with her husband on the other end telling her to "watch out, there is a burgler loose in the area". Of course, she's just able to sit there on the floor, a nice cleave gag in her mouth and I remember her ankles were crossed & tied (a fave detail for me). Funny, it's been at least 20 years since I saw that mag & I still vividly remember that picture. Made quite an impression to a 15-year-old adolescent! |
