Monday August 11 00:24:45 2003 1-800 Missing |
I just saw the repeat tonight and I know it's been mentioned but I just had to say, even though I hate tape gags, this was a very good scene. Multiple set ups, very atmospheric, very sexy girl, great body, director not afraid to show it, great stuggling, good length; one of the best this year for television. |

Book review: Husband and wife weave suspenseful tale
"Land of the Living," by Nicci French. Warner Books. 341 pp. $23.95. By Jillian McCartney, Salisbury Post Imagine being alone in the darkness of all that you have forgotten, asking what is real and what is just your mind playing games with you. "Land of the Living" is a suspenseful novel that leaves the reader wondering what is real and what is in the head of the main character, Abbie Devereaux. Author Nicci French doesn't take long to draw the reader in, opening her novel with Abbie being held captive by a strange and violent man. Hooded, bound and gagged, Abbie spends the first part of the book deciding whether to fight or give up. |

Monday August 11 12:31:04 2003 Re: Database- One Favour? |
Record number: 8992
Title: Hellbound: Hellraiser II Medium: Movie Actress: Catherine Chevalier, Unknown Description: The mother (Chevalier) of a mute girl named Tiffany (Imogen Boorman) is shown getting the black-gloved hand of Dr Channard (Kenneth Cranham) clamped over her mouth. She mmmphs nicely. All this takes place in Tiffany's own hell, which resembles a funhouse hall of mirrors. The scene is shown again later on. Both are Tiffany's flashbacks, and both really happened. The 'Leviathan'(the lord of hell's labyrinth) forces her to recall the horror of her mother being killed before her eyes. The murder is not shown. Also, a nude female mental patient of Channard's (Unknown) is strung hands over head in Channard's attic. She is then sucked of her life-force by a skinless Julia (Deborah Joel) who needs it to restore her flesh. Also, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence) is grabbed and threatened with 'punishment' by her evil uncle Frank (Sean Chapman). He gestures that she'd probably enjoy it, in a cute line. He is tricked and set on fire afterwards, so nothing comes of it. Please note that the original database post for this movie is inaccurate, so I posted a new version. ___________ Ask in future, if you see an entry you don't agree with, let us know over on the Database Corrections Page. Easier that way. Thanx |

> Books. 341 pp. $23.95. > Picked this one up at the library (it's also available in regular paperback, BTW, not just the $23.95 hardcover). It's not bad, for the genre. She spends a LOT of time B&G (then unbound and re-gagged, etc.), with fair detail. On the downside for a lot of readers, the scenes are presented very realistically, so there are detailed descriptions of her less-than-pristine physical condition as her captivity goes on. Still, probably the most time I can remember a character in a mainstream story spending in bondage since "Let's Go Play at the Adams'". |

"Sheridan" is bound, gagged, and blindfolded roaming around the house. Luis is in the house. They are in the same room, her behind him. He doesn't hear her walking around, yet he can "feel" that she is near. She doesn't make any gag-talk to try to get his attention. Does she not hear him? Are her ears muffled?
She just got dragged out of the room by "Charlie" (without even an additional handgag) and put back in the pit. Now she is not bound at all. Luis still has no idea that she is in the house. Ridiculous!!! |

Forget the gag scene for a second, the storyline is so stupid it's incomprehensible a network would green light these scripts. NBC canceled "Another World" for this? Bring that back or even "Sunset Beach." Here's one time I was hoping NBC News would break in and end this fiasco. Plus, when Sheridan was back in the pit and gets her arms free does she remove the blindfold first so at least we get a glimpse of her tape-gagged? No, Sheridan ungags herself first, then removes the blindfold. |

DiD was a guest star named Mary Wall... And to throw in my 2 Cents Worth, I gotta say that if this show had been on ESPN -- other than an unassisted triple play, it HAS been pretty slow, lately -- they'd be calling it an 'Instant Classic'...'cuz it truly was!!! |

Course, Hollywood has been known to take liberties. |

Monday August 11 16:33:11 2003 General Hospital |
Early in the episode, "Courtney" was shown tied to a chair but not gagged (the gag had already been pulled down around her neck.) Later in the episode she was shown not bound at all. The preview for tomorrow's episode also showed her not bound. |

Look above a few posts (at 14:26 and 14:34) to see what happened on Passions. To be brief, "Sheridan" was bound, gagged, and blindfolded. She was unbound completely by the end of the episode. Look below your original post for what happened on General Hospital. To be brief, "Courtney" was bound but not gagged. |

> > Are there any website or clubs dedicated to DiDs in > Video games? > > http://www.angelfire.com/alt/vgdid/vgdid.html Hey man, just wanted to let you know, i recently played two games that did have a tied and gagged damsel. I have seen plenty of tied up damsels in games but never gagged so this was a pleasent surprise. first one is the new indiana jones game The emporers tomb. half way through the game a girl is tied with her hands above her in a cage and gagged. there is so gag talk as well. made for a nice surprise. the second is a game for ps2 called batman vengence. this scene happens right in the first level, a girl tied hand behind back and feet tied while tape gagged. alot of gag talk and screaming in this one. hope that helps you in your quest for the ever elusive video game gagged damsels |

Monday August 11 19:19:31 2003 Unintentional "alerts"? |
I doubt many people can relate to this one, but I thought I'd bring it up just in case.
Has anyone here ever had someone "alert" them to a show with B and/or G scenes, unintentionally? For example, my dad once mentioned that he had seen a movie on TV called Saving Silverman, and told me that these guys were trying to keep their friend Silverman away from some woman, and they had her tied and chained to a chair. He told me it was "silly". Obviously, that sort of activity isn't silly to me! It was totally unexpected, just came out of the blue. Same thing with Head Above Water. He actually described multiple scenes from the movie, sounding as though he found funny the situations that Cameron Diaz's character went through, for how over-the-top they were. When he left the room, I turned on the TV to that channel to check it out (movie was being shown at the time). If only he knew... The funny thing being that he *does* know. I imagine both times my interest didn't cross his mind, and he was merely describing a comedy to me, something he's done several other times. It's just that both comedies happened to revolve around bondage. Has anyone else had an "unintentional alert", by someone mentioning a good scene to you but not specifically to alert you to it? |

A friend goes to see Play Misty For Me. Later, he's telling me how bad he thought the movie was in great detail. I'm laughing hyterically at his description. He gets to THE scene. He's describing how Jessica Walter is standing over Donna Mills. He says "She's lying on the floor. Her hands are bound and her mouth is bound". My mind starts to drool. Now he's practically doing play-by-play announcing of the scene and laughing at how bad he thought it was. I'm thinking "I've got to see this, but if it's so bad, how do I explain why I'm going?" (Remember this is long before VCR's, all movies eventually showing up on TV, and me knowing I wasn't the only prevert out there getting off on bound actresses.) On the outside, I'm laughing along with him. In the immortal words of John Lovitz's Master Thespian: ACTING!!!! |

Amazing that he remembered it in such detail. Heck, you don't need to describe how someone is tied up to explain why a movie is bad (or was he just describing what happened in the scene right after he mentioned that she was tied?). I've gone through the "pretend I hate something while privately wanting to see it" experience myself a few times. |

Okay, Road Rules is on right now on MTV. Unfortunately, I missed the first 20 minutes of the show. If the tie-and-gag scene with the girl(s) on the bed happens tonite, does anyone watching it know if it happened to show up in the first 20 minutes? |

Ok, let's give it another go for a fall issue. Here's what we're going to look for:
1. Special scene reviews. This should be something from the past year that you felt was particularly good. You should plan on an extensive writeup. We'll be able to have more caps as well. If you already have caps, that's a plus, but otherwise we have some people who can help. 2. The ever popular past show profile or actress profile features. This means a writeup of every scene from the show or actress, with accompanying caps. See past issues for examples. 3. We love to hear from our friends from overseas. If you have some ideas about a show, actress or other feature from your country that would be great. You'd most likely need to provide your own caps. 4. I'd like to do some sort of a quiz again. If someone wants to tackle one like before, that's great. Otherwise, if one of our cap providers has a nice selection of old and new stills, we could work one like the old BL ones, match the still to the title. I could even gin up a PHP scoring program. 5. News, previews etc. 6. Opinion pieces or letters to the editor. 7. ?? Anything other ideas you have. You can use the page below to contact me with your ideas. We will shoot for Sept 1 for completion, but that's flexible. |

It's interesting that he used the term "bound" instead of "gagged" when describing her mouth. Maybe he doesn't know anything about bondage. Or, maybe he knows everything about it but wanted to make it SEEM like he didn't know what it was called. You never can tell. There are a lot more of us out there. |

I didn't see Fridays scene but if it was anything like this one it sucked to. The blindfold covered most of her face and I'd never have known she was gagged if someone hadn't mentioned it. |
