| on tuesday, 26 aug 03 (tommorrow) amc network will be runnning the movie "dragnet 69" at 2:10 in the afternoon. this movie contains, in my opinion, one of the best bondage scenes of all time. the movie begins with a beautiful blond bound with rope and cleave gagged with a white cloth, and has many closeups. shes wearing a sweater, skirt and black high heels, very early/mid sixties look. the scene starts about 20 to 30 seconds into the movie, even before any of the credits, so if you tune in 3 minutes into the movie, you'll miss it. definately set the vcr for this one.

| According to the script, Jessica Beal gets handgagged a couple of times, tied up and laid down on a couch with a sock stuffed into her mouth on screen, spits the sock out, it gets stuufed back in.
Later she escapes, gets recaptured, tape gagged and tortured while tied to a chair, then hand gagged again during the hammer over the bucket scene near the end. Ive seen a couple of very darkly lit caps, but its almost impossible to make anything out except a silouette. |

| Does anybody know if there are any websites that have the vidcaps of the bondage scenes from the Electric Company? There were two good ones, they're described in the database, of Rita Moreno and a girl named Judy. Rita's tied and gagged while Judys tied to a pole.

Nothing scene. NO, this ep had the two of them tied in an abandoned church, to a radiator or near a radiator or something. You could clearly see their bonds, and I think there was at least one closeup on the gagged woman. They were mmphing desperately to alert the cops to the fact that the bad guy had run off with their daughter. |

| Just finished reading a great novel called "STACKING IN RIVERTOWN," by Barbara Bell. I thought it was a brilliant novel, and would have been even without the extensive descriptions of our favorite subject.
Basicly it's about an ex-runway hooker who is trying to remember a murder she witnessed, and running away from her pimp. Her pimp specialized in running "plays" with plenty of bondage. He kidnaps the runaways and basicly trains them into the bondage lifestyle by keeping them tied up pretty much most of the time. It does tend to get pretty violent as the narrator describes her indoctrination. It's a great novel and I highly recommend reading it, escpecially if you like a good kidnapping story with plenty of violence. Not for the weak of heart. |

Meanwhile, Katie was tied up again. This time, a thug knocked out her boyfriend, ripped off Katie's shirt (don't worry, she had a tank top on underneath) and tied her hands in front with the shirt. After threatening her a bit, he just left her in the shack with the knocked out guy. |

I recognize this comic book; I bought it years ago, attracted by the picture of the gorgeous, stacked blonde bound and gagged in a minidress. | Just ran across this, from the Washington Post, though it's about two years old. Ruminations on Wonder Woman, including her proclivity for bondage.
My favorite quote is from the section on WW creator William Marston: "At Harvard, he pioneered research that led to the polygraph. Marston's favorite test subjects were sorority sisters: He would attend their clandestine initiation parties, at which the young women would tie one another up and sometimes wrestle. Using the lie detector, Marston would carefully monitor the rise in their fellow sorority sisters' systolic excitement while they watched the hazing rites. The coeds would never admit that seeing other women in bondage turned them on, if just ever so slightly. (He found it necessary to repeat the sorority sister experiment -- dozens and dozens of times, it seems.)" Interesting, too, are the quotes from then-new WW artist Phil Jimenez, about a gay man's approach to drawing a sexy superheroine. Also illuminating is the quote that "Marston's estate stipulates that a Wonder Woman comic book must be regularly published in order to keep the rights to the character," which explains why the Amazon survives artistic and commercial doldrums as often as she does. |

I honestly think this is going to be a great one , just by looking at the promo shots and as far as the movie goes I am sure the first will be the best as far as story line etc. , but for the bondage hand gags and sock in mouth and tape gag ans ropest is going to really be one of the all time great scenes and I would not even be able to think about the movie any way with such a great bondage scene beeing the main thing in my mind. LOL She is way at the top of the list of girls I want to see get tied and gagged cause she just has the kind of face that will look great gagged. Just my opinion. |

Unfortunately, Rita's "Tattletale" skit was not included in the shows that were rerun. However, the one with Judy Graubart tied to a pole while the three musketeers sing was indeed shown again. That one will probably be easier to find. There were actually a few more bondage scenes on Electric Company (although those two are probably the best). |

| Hmmm...depends on what you find sexy. Me, I like it when the tied party is determined not to take her predicament sitting down (insufferable pun fully intended), particularly when she does so for comic effect. Two of the best in my book were a couple of oldies-Shirley MacLaine's scene in "Artists and Models" (1955) and Debbie Reynolds' magnum opus in "The Gazebo" four years later. I've long considered MacLaine's to be the best such scene ever, with Reynolds' a close second-even though, unlike MacLaine, she isn't gagged. By the way, "The Gazebo" was, if I remember, a play that ran on Broadway for a while before being given the Hollywood treatment. Anyone out there know who played Reynolds' character on stage, and whether she did that scene night after night? If she did it for more than a week, she definitely deserves a berth in the Hall of Fame, even if she didn't go to the extremes Reynolds did in the movie.
As for some of the best of the rest, I've always liked Penny Singleton's scene in "Blondie's Big Deal," Barbara Eden's in "The Amazing Dobermans" (thank God she did that, or I'd go nuts over TV Land's having edited out her "I Dream of Jeannie" spreadeagle-incidentally, are there any plans to put this series out on DVD?), Karen Kopins' cross-legged scene in "Once Bitten" (go on, admit it-every time you remember why Lauren Hutton had her tied like that, you can't help snickering under your breath once again), and Robin Tunney's scene in "Montana," which was immediately preceded by her asking Kyra Sedgwick "How do you know I won't just run off?" Dumb question. Among the not-so-funny ones, we can't forget Ally Sheedy in "Deadly Lessons," Marg Helgenberger in "Murder Live!", and I've always had special feelings for a scene that's a chair-tie only in the strictest technical sense, and one that'll probably be controversial here-Susan Hayward's re-enactment of Barbara Graham's gas-chamber execution at the end of "I Want to Live!" Yes, I know-the ending spoils it for a lot of people, but this scene, along with her handcuffed stroll through the gate at San Quentin earlier in the film were the only ones Hayward ever did, and after all, she DID win the Best Actress Oscar for them. |

| On VH1's I love the 70's - 1976 episode, when they talk about the Wonder Woman show, two little clips they show are of Linda Carter tied up. One was where she was tied up in a cave with dynamite and the other was with her tied to a chair and black cloth cleave gagged. Very short clips, but still nice to see they chose to include those scenes. |
