Chainsaw, one last time
Sorry Mr. Moderator. Just wanted to let people know the TCM summary is up on Anything Goes with a full explanation of how the movie still worked without the tie-up scene (which was so crucial in the original)

Damn, that's a case of scene creep that I didn't even know I had. I honestly could sworn it was a ball gag but I just checked the scene database and was proven wrong. Sorry, I didn't mean to get peoples hopes up that there was a Nikki Cox ball gag scene. Accept my sincere apologies.

Now she was spreadeagled on a bed right???

It won't have anything new other than the cover. Its simply a re-issue of the current DVD that was overseen by Tobe Hooper, with the same features as the original. This time they are massproducing it in order to keep costs down so it can retail for only 15 bucks. My source for this is the current issue of Fangoria that has an article in thier Upcoming videos section.

The only material of interest to us in the special features section was a blooper reel that had Marilyn Burns fall over while tied to a chair.

There is also a DVD of Part III coming up, with the same features of the special edition laserdisc. Directors cut of the film (which is also out on video) has more footage of Kate Hodge tied and gagged while Leatherface puts lipstick on her, the special features of the DVD and LD has a deleted scene that also had some more footage of her gagged.

Scene ID?
So I was merrily clipping my way through one of Brent Smith's tapes (see link), and I came upon a bit of a stumper on which I thought someone here might be able to shed some light. Specifically, can anyone identify the actress in the cap below? (I haven't finished the clips yet.)

Here's what I know: the scene is from the soap "Loving." Based on both the dialogue and Brent's description, this character's name is Joely (Jolie?), though no similar name appears in the IMDb cast list for the show. There's another damsel present as well, namely Noelle Beck as Trisha. It's an extended scene in which Joley kidnaps Trisha, then gets the tables turned on her by a guy, then convinces Trisha to help her get free, then thanks her by gagging and chloroforming her (what a wench!), and finally gets some hefty comeuppance by getting to sweat it out next to a time bomb in Trisha's place.

I checked the DB, of course, and came up empty. There are two listed "Loving" scenes with Noelle Beck, but neither one is this one. There are also listed scenes from that soap featuring Susan Keith and Elizabeth Savage that don't include details, but since they don't mention Beck, I suspect that they're different scenes as well.

Any ideas...?

Ha, ha you're welcome.
I forgot to put the caps in the "filesharing" page yesterday (upper left). It's fixed now. From there you can download the caps, some of them will show twice as big than in the slideshow.

Maybe, maybe not. Let's hope that is not just wishful thinking. (OK the show has had TEN scenes so far)

That's another scene, much earlier. That's where she and her bf plans to fake her murder, and as part of that he starts tieing her up. Unfortunately she freaks out so he never gets to finish the job. I have a clip of the scene.

Do the following:
Right-click on the URL and do a copy shortcut
then go to the address bar and paste it in there. Then hit enter. It'll come up.

FYI, it's some sort of prevention thing that Yahoo does to keep people from linking to stuff outside of Yahoo. Just another thing to piss people off.

Montel Williams for Oct. 1
There might be something of interest to us on Wednesday's Montel Williams. It's about stories of survival and what you should do. There are several real stories of women abducted and tied in different situations. There are reenactments, and I was able to confirm a girl with hands tied in front in what looked like a home invasion. There's probably more than that in the show. If you're not put off by real life stories like this, there might be something there. At least we know they all survived (hence the point of the show). If you're not familiar with this show, it's a syndicated talk show in the U.S. Check your listings for channel and time.

There's a VCR alert that has been posted on Rob's page which may be of more interest to you fellows in the US I think.

I haven't posted it in the alerts here as I honestly do not know anything about PBS or US TV channels and am therefore passing this on third-hand, but if you follow the link it should, I hope, give you all that you need.

I vaguely remember visiting a "Red Dwarf" site a loooong time ago. Must have gotten the cap then.
Alison Senior-is that an actress name? Senior?
Anyway she looks cute IMO; a shame the cap isn't sharper.

As for the "Charmed" cap Holden ID'ed, I got his info confirmed. I couldn't ID it myself because the scene wasn't in the DB. I put it in today, so something constructive, not just for me, comes from this.

Anyway this exercise proved to be as successful as the one last year. Thanx guys you really ARE DiD experts.

I may do it again. I will search my collection for "unknowns".

Ms. Senior also had a scene in THE KNOCK that was posted at my site for a while off a tape I received from Jay.

I think there was a joke in the RED DWARF ep about the princess' name really being "Beryl" ... which seems to be the standard British example of an unglamorous female handle.

Quote from TVtome, Red Dwarf, ep Stoke me a Clipper, actress Alison Senior (see cap on homepage pic 3 in album 6 ) :

"Ace: Princess Bonjella; Ace Rimmer. There'll be time for explanations later and, hopefully, some sex.
Princess: What a guy!"

Dunno if that was from when she was chained up as in the cap, but I hope so :)

Ace was rescuing her from a Nazi firing squad. An unairworthy alligator was involved.

Man you seem to have all the answers! What does "unairworthy" mean? Was it too ugly to be shown in the TV airing? Did it eat the cute princess?

Moderator! It's a mainstream TV series!

From dictionary.com:

adj : not fit to fly

Just for future reference, you should probably check out dictionary.com for help with unfamiliar words.

There is a bondage scene with Rosario Dawson in "The Rundown". I posted details on the movie alert page for anyone who is interested.

Raffish, the scene happened on Loving oh, probably ten years ago. The actress in question with Noelle Beck is named Lisa Ann Poggi. She played a schemer named Jolie who was impersonating Trish (which is why their outfits are identical). Lisa Ann & her boyfriend were going to blow Trisha up in the van. Trisha's boyfriend turns the tables, rescues Trisha & ties up Jolie in the same situation as Trish was. Actually, he just thinks he's giving her a taste of what she gave Trisha (he doesn't know there is a bomb in the van). As you said, Trisha turns the tables & Lisa Ann ends up with the bomb (and not surviving).

I would if it was about anything serious Jazz. Biff was talking about an alligator (or a crocodile?) and my comment was meant as a joke.

Oops. I did notice you joking around but thought you honestly didn't know what "unairworthy" meant. I had never heard that word before to be honest.

"UnAirworthy"
A HIGHLY technical term, possibly unfamiliar to the average poster, I'll warrant....so I beg to intervene...

UNAIRWORTHY: Adverb - to be unworthy of air [from the 16th
century colloquialism 'unairworthee']
Webster's - 654th edition

....but I digress..............

Thanks for the heads up.

I just checked TV listings and it looks like they're starting off on Season 3 10/6-"Much Ado About Nachos", 10/7-"Shred Reckoning". The "Kidnapped" episodes are in Season 1.

My lists show her as Lisa Ann Poggi.

TvTome (they are rapidly becoming a favorite for TV
stuff) shows her as playing Jolie Cumson (1989).

This should probably wrap up this thread ... aquatic reptiles with aggressive dispositions are most likely off topic (unless anthropomorphic versions kidnapped Sheera as bait for Mightor at some point).

"Aerodynamically unsound" might have been a better choice of adjectives ... the creature freefell from a Heinkel HE-111 onto several unfortunate members of the Wermacht, facilitating the royal scarper.

Rather pedestrian plotting, admittedly ... but there you are.

"Volantly challenged?"

Your average crocodilian *is* pretty dimwitted (about eight on the Household Appliance Scale), but it *does* have a brain. If it flapped its arms & legs, would that make it a smart bomb?

Also... are we *sure* it wasn't either a caiman or a gavial?

Shirlee elliot is tied & gagged in "Crimes & cappucinos" I think that one was season three

there's also a quick scene not listed in the DB with Brittany Daniel & another girl comically tied in a tent but children dressed as indians

Totally Spies
this show is wonderful & confusing there was just an episode with all three grrrls with thier hands tied behind their backs there were so many perfect shots of their bound hand...there was an eppy before wherether were restrained with very realistic restraint devices with metal fetters which loop above their elbows and under their knees, with a link to the collars 'round their necks but they NEVER get their legs tied & gaggs are very rare...
someone on that show must be "one of us"
but why always the incomplete ropework???

who would you choose for the Blond (Clover)
