Did anyone make caps of this scene? I didn't check the board today until now and I missed it.

This was actually a first rate scene, if you mean the one with the mad bomber who has her tied to a chair. She spent a lot of time bound, some of it ungagged and talking to her abductor. He got tired of her and cleave gagged her, but gave in later when she mmmphed to the point that he took it off and gave her some water. He even used the gag to dab off the spilled water from her chin. He also lets her stretch her legs, giving her an opportunity to grab a knife with her bound hands. She gets loose but gets recaptured (I love that!) Surprising how these details get forgotten so soon. |

Thursday October 23 00:31:56 2003 VELLA NOVILA or whatever |
I cannot believe there's been so little discussion about this quality scene. Other than JP's early mention of the scene late on Monday there's been nothing from anybody. You guys can go gaga and wax ad hominum on a humdrum scene but a quality scene like this one, on such a beautiful woman as Susanna Gonzales, and nobody has nothing to say. Beats me. The only thing that keeps this from being a great scene, in my opinion, is that she's lying on her back and all the shots are side shots, otherwise it's a quality scene by any measure. |

You knew the girl was going to be found alive because the idiot 3rd brother was cracking jokes the entire hour during the investigation. It actually played like an episode of 1-800-MISSING, only with worse acting, but a similar finish with a quick duct-tape gag on a roughed-up damsel. |

>>>>Lois was never meant to be a drop dead model lookalike when it comes to her appearance.<<<<
First of all, says who? Second, I don't recall my choices including Cindy Crawford or anyone like that. SMG is certainly no model, she's just sexy and a heck of an actress. >>>Maybe that's why Kidder got the part in the movie role.<<<< One of the great mysteries of our time IMHO. >>>>....Jennifer Love Hewitt, she does that irritating squint with her eyes<<<< Huh? >>>and couldn't pass herself off as a reporter,<<<< Why not? What's so special about a reporter? >>>>Courtney Cox has a food phobia<<<<< Hell, 90% of all Hollywood females have that. >>>>Sarah Michelle Gellar can't for the life of her play a damsel in need of rescue.<<<< Oh, I think she could pull it off for enough cash. And no way ANY LL is played as a "helpless damsel" these days. Too non-PC. Even sweet little Lana Lang has turned into karate babe on Smallville. >>(SMG) Gag Phobia <<< Disproven, (Albeit rather poorly) in Scooby Doo. |

She gets loose but gets recaptured (I love that!). Surprising how these details get forgotten so soon. ------- My recollection is that the scene had terrific Captor-Captive dynamics. Bibb mmphs to get his attention (but not in an obnoxious, whiny way). He ungags her, and she politely asks for water. Knowing that he's kept her TIGHTLY cleave-gagged (and what that means), he provides her with water, also in a "polite" manner (allowing her to drink as much as she wants at her own rate -- Without taking advantage of the situation to pull any "sleazy captor-moves" such as spilling water on her, looking down the top of her blouse, or copping a feel "in recompense"). Even though he has her chair-tied & death-trapped, it's clear he rather likes the young policewoman. He allows her to stretch her legs -- but keeps his guard up, knowing that policewomen will be policewomen. Yes, he's a mad bomber -- but he's not an "evil" captor, and he's not an idiot captor. And Bibb represented our kind of DiD - Cute, uncomplaining, uncursing, but not a helpless brain-dead damsel. |

Judging from last night's episode, it looks like Kristin Kreuk will set the record for most times in peril without ever getting the full treatment. |

You can actually see them now at my website. I've made some clips too, hope they work beacuse of traffic problems I always have from Geocities. Nothing in the video. Madonna is not a domintrix, and there is no leashes. The lyrics are much more suggestive than the video. > > Has anyone seen the video? Thursday October 23 15:05:02 2003 One Life to Live |
Natalie was tied to a chair in the final scenes on Thursday but not gagged. She was transferred to the hideout in a van but not bound at that point. Preview showed her still tied to the chair on Friday. Missed chance was when the lead goon made the phone call for the ransom demand, she was in the background but not gagged. Time slipping away on this one. |

I was a litle nervous when he told her "Go ahead & run, this is cougar country" for some reason I have a really good vibe about this one she did a little bit of cool struggling...I hope they show her bound hands & her ankles are or will be tied.. and OF COURSE I'm hoping for a good gag. I should say this but I just ahve a feeling this one id gonna come through.. she just looks SO CUTE all tied up ;) |

Thursday October 23 20:18:12 2003 General Hospital database entry |
I just added a database entry for J. Robin Miller's recent bound and gagged scene from General Hospital. However, if someone writes a better entry, go ahead and replace mine. I wrote it from memory, and I could not remember her character's name. I just moved this past week and my TV, videocassettes, and computer are not here yet. |

There is also a Movie/TV Damsel category. As they used to say in Chicago, "Vote Early and Vote Often" [ just kidding, they only let you vote once :-) ] |

Thursday October 23 20:46:56 2003 I didn't think it would pass, Mod'... |
Yeah, that was cheap of me. OK... Here it goes.
I still think Selma Blair would do better than most of the actresses mentioned in previous posts. I don't give a shit she's over the dreaded 30 mark in age. That will only count when it comes to sequels that may push her age eventually. Let's face it, Margot Kidder was looking her age well before the last Superman movie. Love Hewitt does indeed have an irritating squint when she smiles, similar to Renee Zellweger's. That any better, Mod' ? |
