Tuesday November 25 01:29:23 2003 BEST LAID PLANS DVD |
Tried to ask a question on this when it was first mentioned, but for some reason I kept being rejected for failure to trim quoted material, even though I only had left three or four lines of quoted material.
Anyway the quote mentioned that the above DVD had additional material on it which is news to me. Could someone please provide details on what the additional material consists of? |

Tuesday November 25 03:45:02 2003 European damsels coming!!! |
There is for sure a good b&g scene in «Haute tension» (Switchblade Romance), a french slasher produced by Luc Besson.
Storyline: two girls in a lonely house, a psycho kidnaps one of them (lovely Maïwenn is the actress) I've just seen a trailer so far, showing the very moment the girl is abducted (close-ups on face, bound naked feet, carried over the shoulder, wearing a nightgown, name it, you've got it). After this, there is a very quick shot of the girl in the killer's van, still b&g. Most probably an outstanding and lenghty scene... The movie has been released in France in June 2003 and will be available in DVD Z2 next year (look for instance on amazon.fr) The trailer is very easy to find… I have also found an interview of Maiwenn online, with a very touching anecdote. European movies seem to deliver really good scenes recently (just think of The Transporter, another Besson production, and, especially exciting, the next Dario Argento thriller, Il Cartaio (The Card Player) with at least two actresses bound and gagged... |

Tuesday November 25 08:17:09 2003 Funny bit from mainstream program |
While I was watching "The Closing Bell" on CNBC yesterday they had a segment with "Kudlow and Cramer", minus Kudlow and with another guy sitting in, where they were talking about various currently in-the-public-eye people. Cramer was talking about having some of them go to jail and held his hands up as if handcuffed. Paris Hilton was in on this somehow and he said "a lot of guys would like to see Paris in handcuffs!", to which Maria Bartarimo (a Major Babe herself) said "Watch it! This is a family show!", to which everybody laughed. Note that this is a program on the stock market! |

"We often turned in outside, it made very cold, planning was delirious and it was very hard. We played much of night, little vêtues, in scenes rather not very obvious. For my part, I found myself menottée, muzzled. Once, they even lost the keys of the locks which blocked my chains. Reality was sometimes as nightmarish as the subject of film!" "Lost the keys..." Yeah, right. Sounds like fun & games to me. ;-) |

Our non-jungle civilizations didn't create the head-harness gag till the 20th century. Yet while the pre-Industrial Revolution Amazon "White" village hadn't yet invented the Printing press, the Steam engine, etc., they evidently possessed an off-the-shelf head harness bitgag. Necessity being the mother of invention, I suppose their intellectual community found their priorities should be in designing a more secure gagging device, rather than the aforementioned inventions. |

Ebert & Roeper will be reviewing the film for their next show and they usually include quite a few clips from the movies they review. Might be a scene or two. |

Wrong! :-) It's not a "harness gag;" it's a "scolds bridle." The wives even referred to her needing "scolding" in the dialogue. Factor in the need to conserve iron for weapons & tools, & a leather scold's bridle/brank is perfectly logical. |

Or in a cameo, Deedee's real-life sister Michelle? :-) |

The actress said something in her interview about "talking to each other through the gags." Well, sure. And as soon as Opie heard them doing that he should have said "Hey, that's not very realistic, we better improve on it." Thousands of dollars to hire Indian language teachers, and they couldn't hire a boy scout to tell them how to use a bandanna. |

It seemed to work when applied tightly. A longer piece, first tight OTM then brought round and knotted between the lips, would be even more effective, methinks! |

It has two more scenes that are nothing new and not even that good. One deleted scene has a very VERY quick shot of Reese tied to the pool table at a very bad angle. And another deleted scene shows the same shots of her B&Ged to the chair that were in the original scene. |

Jungle Boy is kissing a woman,(I've never noticed her before, but when a brunette is wearing a long sleeve sweater that barely drops below her breast, it gets my attention.) when some tribalmen knock them over the head and carry them tied up(hands behind, tan OTM gag) into a van. When the van gets a flat tire they work themselves free and make a run for it. Jungle Boy outruns them but the catch her and drag her back to the van, JB follws and him and Big Chief talk out there differences and she helps change the flat. |

Oops I hit the accidently clicked submit.
To finish up, the scene was just about over when I posted here. There was MAJOR putz interference, but she did have a few solo shots(about 15 seconds worth.) As an added bonus there was a flash back of the tape gag scene from the early episodes. |

Tuesday November 25 20:39:52 2003 DVD deleted scenes |
I seem to recall from the last few weeks talk that the "Joy Ride" DVD has some scenes of Leelee's tie-and-gag scene that were cut from the video. Can anyone give the skinny on the extent of the deleted material? Or is it just the commentary or Leelee talking about her bondage ordeal that's extra?
Also, same question for "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (original). Did someone say the DVD of this one has deleted bondage scenes as well? I know TCM 3 is supposed to have some extra bondage footage but I could almost swear someone said the original had some extra stuff as well. |

It was Frank J. who posted the possibility, but he did say to take it with a grain of salt since the email sent to him had some flaws, plus the longshot nature of a scene popping up on a sitcom. Anyway, the show's timeslot has been moved from Thursday at 9 p.m. back to Fridays at 8:30. |
