In fact, I think I might still have it on tape somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it out and scan it.
I'm almost positive there wasn't anything in it however. |

My favorite is the same two words, only from "Gridlock." After Davis Hasselhoff says into his microphone, "Where is she" the lead thug turns to his henchman holding Kathy Ireland and says "Gag her." Greatest 2 words uttered in a movie where a supermodel is held captive. Runner-up would be Lynda Carter mouthing off while tied to a chair, when Andrew Duggan says "Put a gag in her mouth," which one of his henchman starts doing when he grabs it and finishes the cleave gag himself then says "I don't have to listen to these obscenities." |

Actually, the actual, correct (and even better, IMHO) Catwoman quote is "...crimefightRESSES should be seen and not heard!".
I'm glad she was so specific! |

My own fave is Ruth Roman, in "The Baby"-- "Tie her up and gag her." Simple and to the point. Nice runner-up: Tallulah Bankhead, in "Die Die My Darling"-- "Gag and bind her." |

As I said the other day, nothing in the trailer hints at anything for us, but it's sure the right kind of story. Actually, the one that's gonna be a crusher is "Hellboy"-- no way Selam Blair gets it in that one, but... *sigh*. |

looks good. it appears to me that they both get gagged. in the pic i saw, three guys are around them, one does the tying while another one has duct tape in his hand. has to be a gag scene! just think, a mother/daughter gag scene for these two after all that time on "honey i shrunk the kids" with no luck. finally there is a god! if anyone gets clips/caps or knows when and where this film is available let us all know-could be a classic. |

My favorite gag order comes From the DOCTOT WHO serial "The Talons of Weng-Chiang". Bad guy Magnus Greel (Micheal Spice) orders Leela (Louise Jameson)gagged with the line "Silence the spitfire!" |

> The quote is forever burned into my adolescent
> subconscious. It is, "Gag her! Crimefighters > should be seen and not heard." Why I find it so sexy, I don't know, but I do... I don't know either, but maybe it's the anticipation of further distress for Batgirl that does it -- after 2 seasons of (admittedly, often hilarious) putzfests with Batman and Robin, knowing there is a fanstastic payoff is probably at least part of the appeal. Along similar lines is the movie "Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die." The weirdo supervillain plans to launch a rocket that will sterilize the earth or some Austin Powers-esque plot. Dorothy Provine, in khaki blouse, short shorts and boots is captured by the villain's goons. Then she is brought, hands tied behind her back, OTM gagged with a scarf, to the villain who says, "I once thought you were clever, but no! You were foolish enough to try to escape. Put her in the rocket!" |

For an extra challenge, according to IMDB there were three films titled "Wild Card" produced in 2003, plus a few more before. And the one we want isn't available in any format. My guess is it will end up premiering on basic cable, like Lifetime or LMN. Keep your eyes peeled. |

VERY LITTLE has leaked out about the plot, but I've seen the name "Monster Island" more than once. They're playing up the Pulp & Cliffhanger Serial connections so much... All we can do is hope. :-) (...& if I *was* a member of the Resistance, would I tell you? You think I want giant flying robots stomping *my* place?) |

Monday December 22 14:47:04 2003 "Gag her!" Dialogue |
There is sonme great dialogue in a little mentioned (and capped) scene from an Austrailian movie starring Elliot Gould. An attractive mom of about 35 is resisting as a bunch of IRA thugs breal into her house. The boss says "Tie em up and gag em" The woman screams and the boss shouts "GAG HER!". They do, with a pretty nice tight knotted cleave. Lots of close ups. She fights with a bad guy until rescued by her son who pulls the gag out by the knott.
Not a bad scene. But can't remember the movie. |

Monday December 22 15:15:39 2003 DAYS flop.... |
Well, Days of our Lives flopped AGAIN! Jan spent most of the episode in the closet, staring at Belle, with a hammer in her hand (perfect weapon to knock Belle out, then tie her up, etc..), until the very end of the show, when everybody left and Jan (I think) snuck out! |

May I say > "Birthday Girl"? Etc. etc. For these movies the > competition to get theater seats is so intense that they > use sex and sexual bondage imagery to advance their cause > very aggressively. Barring unforeseen changes, I expect this trend to continue into the future indefinitely. I think your best bet for this kind of story is in the indie world. Larger budget studio films are driven by committees concerned with attracting a wide audience, at the expense of stories whose audience is more narrow. Indie movies are driven by passionate filmmakers, who have to be passionate because they have so little money in such an expensive medium. What makes them passionate is a story that they absolutely need to tell. The challenge is to tell a great story. So, let's say you have a character who is a bondage model. Maybe she's an entrepreneur. Runs her own website. Pulls down a decent living. Now what? It's not a story yet. What does she want in her life? Is it a sufficiently high enough value to be compelling? And what's keeping her from getting it? Is her antagonist a sufficiently able competitor? Are there enough steps along the way to round out 90-120 minutes? And most important, is it a story so worth telling that one passionate filmmaker will want to spend years of his/her life trying to tell it? The operative questions are story questions, not whether you can convince an actress to be tied up. I've worked with a lot of actresses and I can tell you that almost every one of them would have sold their souls to have gotten Maggie Gyllenhaal's role in Secretary. This was a story told with sensitivity and psychological acuity. It's a role that gives an actress a chance to go to a fascinating emotional place, something they don't get a chance to do very often. Write a great role, and they'll line up, desperately wanting to play it. They won't do it, obviously, if they think it's exploitative, that you're just getting your rocks off. But there will be no shortage of great actresses who will be grateful to you for giving them the chance to use their craft. So, any ideas? |
Monday December 22 18:10:16 2003 women gagging women/question |
I'm not sure but I think the original poster wanted to know how many movies/tv shows ect. actually showed women tying and mostly gagging other women on screen.
Most of those mentioned, although very good scenes, in fact only showed it after the fact. The few, like 'The baby', and Die Die Darling actually showed the deed in real time. So how many others that showed gagging on screen of women by women can you think of? |

The scene you saw started last Tuesday night when Alfonsina (Adela Noriega) was chloroformed by the one-armed troublemaker who was the main villain of the series and the father of Alfonsina's boyfriend. The chlorofom scene was repeated in its entirety on Wednesday night and the villain carried her off over his shoulder (Did you catch that Wayne?). Initially after she woke up she was unbound but after she got feisty with him he slapped her which put her out again. He then taped her hands in front. At the end of Wednesday's episode Margarita (Daniela Romo) shoots her husband the villain thereby saving Alfonsina. That part of the scene was repeated on the final episode which ran both on Thursday and Friday. |

Mucho Thanks, Philly. I was able to catch the chloro and a little more of the scene from the "Best of" special this weekend, so my clip of it now runs about 1m12s. That's fine by me as long as I didn't miss any gagging. |

Boudica was BRITISH and a lady of culture, dammit! Barbarian my £%$"&^*.... Mind you, this production, and a script unbelievably by the guy who adapted "Pride and Prejudice" (now why didn't he introduce a bit of tie-up fun into that?), did her no favours at all. I don't know if anyone capped it over here, but it should be out on video soon or even already. Quite honestly, this was sub-Xena tripe of the first order, without even the saving grace of self-parody, and IMHO the scenes involving bondage were just cruel, sick and gruesome. Yuk! |
