Instead of killing them, the stalker is targeting their kids, which would be Marah (Josh), Michelle (Ed) and Harley (Gus). Billy's daughter is Mindy, who hasn't been on the show in years (but produced 2 nice scenes in the mid-1980s with Krista Tesreau playing Mindy). Michelle (Nancy St. Alban) was KO'd with a gas leak in Monday's episode but survived. Any one of the three mentioned bound and gagged would be a nice surprise. |
Tuesday January 27 01:42:32 2004 "Jake 2.0" canceled |
"Jake 2.0", two B&G scenes this season, has been canceled by UPN. Ironically, the last episode aired was the gag scene with Angelika Libera. 16 episodes were filmed and 12 aired. No word on whether the final 4 will air. One of the unaired episodes had Diane (Keegan Connor Tracy) investigating a case on her own.
This is the 2nd show ("The Handler") that received a full-season commitment early in the season only to get production halted and canceled on the spur of the moment. |

(direct from the subtitles of "The Triad Zone")
DAMSEL: Mmmph! (BAD GUY removes the pair of panties that has been stuffed into DAMSEL's mouth.) DAMSEL: You're a disgrace to the triads! You use such a cheap underpants on me? BAD GUY: Cheap? Not at all. You're a lady so I took off my own for you. If you were cheap, I use my men's underwear. HENCHMAN: The professional has arrived. BAD GUY: Take her clothes off one by one, now. Keep the photos clear & then send the photos to her husband! |

Tuesday January 27 05:57:19 2004 Aspect ratios |
Any other video geeks out there? :) Working on this clip just now, from "Expect the Unexpected," I'm struck anew by just how much good stuff would have been lost if I'd chosen to watch/clip the fullscreen (aka pan and scan, aka cropped) version rather than the widescreen one.
Fullscreen and widescreen caps below, in that order, edited for nudity as our moderator requests. Of course, there are always exceptions -- especially those films which were shot in "full frame" but released with widescreen cropping. "Idle Hands" strikes me as a classic example, in which you see a lot more of Ms. Alba's panties and legs on the fullscreen video than you did in the theatre. I suppose my point is simply: let the buyer beware... |

Tuesday January 27 10:27:16 2004 "Screaming Dead" |
I was thumbing through the new issue of Fangoria (#230; Dawn of the Dead cover) & came across an article 'bout the soon to be released on DVD/video horror flick, "Screaming Dead."
Here's a blurb: "An abandoned psychiatric hospital looms dark and foreboding on the horizon. Into it pass six individuals who are about to discover its terrifying secrets and come face to face with its blackest horrors." http://www.seductioncinema.com/2003/screaming_dead/ ANYhoo... in the magazine there were photos of a babe about to be subjected to a water torture device, a couple of babes chained to a stone wall, & a babe holding onto a handle to prevent herself from being impaled by a steel bowl with spikes on the bottom. (The bowl was slowly filling with what may have been blood.) The URL above has a photo of one of the stars (Misty Mundae) strapped to an X-frame. (Oh... & she's naked & covered with blood.) It'll be released in late March. It may not be our usual DiD fare, but the carpentry look *very* professional. :-) |

Did you hear something about the secret lif of walter mitty remake? I think the movie is about to be released, but i don't know who's the main actress.
The good new is...in the first version (about 1950...), Virginia Mayo was bound and gagged. The main role was played by danny kaye. I was looking forward the trailer, because if is a remake... |

The IMDb shows a projected *2005* release date for the Steven Spielberg/Jim Carrey Walter Mitty movie. That's a loooong time out. We'll could be watching the forthcoming Wonder Woman movie before the Mitty remake. |

Tuesday January 27 19:32:54 2004 Naomi Watts is a DID in King Kong |
Peter Jackson, of Lord of the Rings fame, is going to do a remake of the classic King Kong, and guess who's confirmed to star as the lead heroine-that's right Naomi Watts. Which means we can expect a bondage scene from her whenever the movie comes out. After all, there's always a bondage scene in a King Kong movie ;). Tuesday January 27 19:48:25 2004 Anyone want to lay early odds... |
...on Charlize Theron becoming Bound Oscar Winner Number Three after Susan ("I Want to Live!") Hayward and Angelina ("Girl, Interrupted") Jolie? (I'm not counting Ingrid Bergman here, because after looking closely many times over a long period, I'm just not convinced that's really her in the overturned chair in "Murder on the Orient Express.") In case you haven't heard, Theron's portrayal of Aileen Wuornos in "Monster" has earned her a Best Actress nomination.
And isn't it funny how if she wins, both Best Actress damsels will have been honored for playing real-life murderesses who not only were sentenced to death, but actually ended up walking the last mile, given that it happens so rarely? Hmmm...let's see. What was the name of that gal whose Sing Sing electrocution was secretly photographed and ended up on the front page of one of the New York City tabloids the next morning? Ruth Snyder-was that it? Well, it's not like a movie about the case would be entirely original, given that the play "Machinal" and the movie "Double Indemnity" were both based on it, but they could take the docudrama route and tell the story straight. As I recall, she was a brunette; that'd probably rule out Nicole Kidman, although it would give her another chance at it (no, she DIDN'T get nominated for "Cold Mountain"). Somehow I keep seeing Uma Thurman. About time she paid us back for "The Avengers," don't you think? |

We could be watching the forthcoming Wonder Woman movie before the Mitty remake. ---- Agreed, especially as the IMDb entry doesn't list anyone other than Carrey as being casted yet. I suppose one thought for remaking the 1947 classic movie would be that the original was limited in what it could depict fantasy-wise -- both in terms of special effects capabilities as well as what could be shown in theaters back then. Hmm, since Carrey could largely recreate his "The Mask" shy guy-turned-superhero personas, why not reunite him with our favorite movie DiD Cameron Diaz in blonde Virginia Mayo's role? http://imdb.com/title/tt0359950/combined |

Tuesday January 27 20:16:33 2004 Oscar winning chances |

Well, it's not like a movie about the case would be entirely original, given that the play "Machinal" and the movie "Double Indemnity" were both based on it, but they could take the docudrama route and tell the story straight. As I recall, she was a brunette; that'd probably rule out Nicole Kidman... ---- And I'd guess that there are more Oscar winning films in the "Best Picture" category with significant DiD scenes vs. the three in the "Best Actress" category, although Oscars seem to be awarded to obscure dramas (rather than action/mayhem efforts with the bad guy kidnapping the wife/girlfriend to set up the hero). "Natural" hair color is one of the less restrictive criteria for casting -- many "A-list" actresses will change their signature color for the right role. E.g., Kidman went brunette for "Birthday Girl", and Gwyneth Paltrow for "Sliding Doors" -- not to mention Demi Moore bald for "GI Jane"... Even for a TV-movie, Emmy-winning redhead Marg Helgenberger went blonde for her b&g'd talk show host role for "Murder Live". |

According to various Smallville web sites, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and a girl named Megan will be tied up in the episode airing Feb 4th. There was no other mention of this upcoming scene other than 'tied up Lana and Megan' so we won't know until at least tomorrow's Smallville trailer what that scene will entail. |

When you think about it, she can't be tied THAT securely for King Kong to come and get her. He'll rip her arms off or something. I'm betting the new scene will be something more like an open-topped cage where she's unbound. |

> > Just caught .Com for Murder movie on Showtime. Nicollette Sheridan (Misty) is gagged with a wide piece of silver duct tape in the last 15 minutes. She is not bound. Scene lasts about 1-2 minutes. Some nice closeups.
> > > Listed as 2001 movie but not available for rent at Blockbuster. ---- With 5 entries in the Database (plus at least three being from movies) this should qualify Sheridan for the "Hall of Fame", under the old "Bound for Hollywood" column's criteria. And impressively, three of her entries are w/ Gag: "Deceptions", "Murder in My Mind", and ".Com for Murder". And as "Beverly Hills Ninja" was a pretty good chair-tie scene even though there was no gag, IMO, she's been an underrated damsel (i.e., Good looks, Good DiD resume). |

Remember, Ann (Fay) was tied between the posts with her wrists in loops of thick rope & secured by having the ropes wound like a Spanish windlass. And when Kong showed up... HE KNEW HOW TO WORK THE PUZZLE!!! HE KNEW TO PULL THE PINS & UNWIND THE ROPES!!! I've always thought that was SO COOL! Add up the seconds of miniature work, & the Bride-of-Kong scene was as involved & complex as anything in the film. I have no more reason to say Peter Jackson is a bondage fan than to say he likes Vivaldi; but everything I've read says he wants *his* King Kong to be faithful to the original... set in the 30's, but not a slavish remake. I'll be VERY SURPRISED if Jackson's Kong doesn't include a kidnapping of Ann by the natives *&* a Bride-of-Kong sacrifice that knocks our socks off!!! :-) ...& for the record, the Jeff Bridges/Jessica Lange *Kong* never happened. It was mass hysteria; a bad dream. Ditto with the Toho Pictures version. |
