You're right Biff (and I'm anal about such things also) it was not very wide, however, it wasn't relatively slim either. I would say it was "average" in width for TV, wide enough to be a good scene (ie: believable and neat). I should have said just OTM because it wasn't wide or slim, imho. |

Pat Priest's great struggling-on-the-bed scene in "The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant" ranks right up there. And the movie was an all-time stinker (great title though). |

The three girls who were bound and gagged weren't especially attractive; they looked like they were recruited off the street rather than through a talent agency. There was a putz at the end of the film. Still, the scenes were lenghty and creatively contrived, and there was quite a bit of audible gag talk. |

How about Kim Cattral in Big Trouble in Little China?
Nice but brief hogtie in an otherwise awful movie. Has been showing a few times this month on Encore. While I'm posting here The Soapnet Channel is preparing to show Days of Our Lives same day reruns in March. "The multi-year deal also includes access to historical episodes for stunts and specials. " Could be worth keeping an eye on. |

Monday February 23 15:59:27 2004 Guiding Light? |
I mistimed my VCR and missed the Monday episode. I just caught the closing credits where the 3 damsels were shown wandering free as birds in the funhouse. Looks like I didn't miss much. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a good soap setup go up in flames before your very eyes. |

The New Diesel ad campaign has a Hieronymous Bosch-like panorama of people loving nature--including a woman tied to a tree AOH by vines and another sort of tied up by vines lying on the ground. Enter the picture at the link below. Click on the panorama for close-ups.

The acting of the two male leads (Ferlin Husky & Don Bowman) makes Plan 9 From Outer Space look like an Oscar winner and the music is rock bottom brutally bad. Joi Lansing was a babe and a half though. In her heyday, (50's-early 60's) I'd put Joi up against any actress or model of that time. |

Monday February 23 18:38:48 2004 "Damsels Tied to Front of Car or Jeep" Scenes! |
Does any one remember any scenes where a damsel has been tied to the front of a car or jeep? I remember seeing a rather awful post-apocalyptic "Mad Max"-type movie made in the mid-1980s, where a pretty, scantily-clad brunette is knocked out by a bad guy with the pommel of his sword. She is roped or chained to the front of a car or jeep and then the villains drive away, taking her captive. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me remember the title of the movie! Has any one else seen this movie?
There was also another movie, set in the present, where the villains tie a damsel to the front of their truck (or jeep); after much erratic driving on the villains' part, the poor girl passes out. Once again, my memory fails me! I think it was made around the mid-1980s. I would really appreciate it if someone could supply me with the name of this flick! I watched both these movies in the late 1980s after I got my first VCR. Man, I watched a lot of really crappy movies back then, just because I suspected that one of the sexy actresses would get knocked out and/or tied up! Ah, the memories... |

I hadn't chimed in on this one, principally because, IMHO, MOST of the movies/TV shows that are bondage-prone tend to be pretty crappy in any other respect (and that's never bothered me). However, I gotta say that BTILC would make my Top Ten of GOOD movies with good bondage scenes (plus an extra one on the DVD). To each his own, but not only do I love this movie, the DVD commentary with Carpenter and Russell is priceless (unfortunately, they don't comment on the bondage). |

Oh yeah...speaking of this episode, and in the interest of full disclosure: I did skip over the scenes in the woods, because they're extremely dark and manage to go on for so long without any gags, visible bondage, or much of the other stuff that we tend to like. |

Monday February 23 19:38:19 2004 Page Update |
Latest update contains pix from "The Coroner" with Jane Longenecker and "Opera" starring Cristina Marsillach.
Re: women tied to the fronts of jeeps/trucks... I recently saw "Fair Game". No caps of it on my site because of nudity, but as far as mainstream goes I thought it was a mighty fine scene. And speaking of nudity... this week-end I watched "Blood Castle" (also known by about 10 other titles). The DiD is Erna Schürer. She's a delicate, beautiful red-head (at least she was in 1971) but she has attitude. Anyway, the two bondage scenes are sadly way too brief, but in both she's stretched out naked on a rack. I dunno, I just found it very, very hot... she's just so prim and classy and fully-clothed most everywhere else in the film... seeing her stripped on the rack was just too much. (In a good way!) |

Spoilers indicate they'll wander around the house of mirrors in a stupor until the climatic scene where the bad woman loses. What a waste of a setup. I was hoping for a 3-babe scene to rival the famous General Hospital scene of the early 80's. |

There's a review with caps at the link -- they show Weismeir topless, but that can't be helped as most of her scenes were topless. |

Hmm... That's an interesting list of bonus features in light of the significant amounts of bondage in this film. There are lots of possiblities right there. I won't get my hopes up though; I made that mistake with the Pirates of the Carribean dvd back in December and it didn't even have the hot storyboard of Keira Knightley's character bound and gagged. Oh well. On a side note, I was disappointed that the Missing tanked at the box office. I thought it was a pretty damn good western, and worst of all every one of these babies that flops makes it less likely that a film studio will produce another one, which makes it less likely we'll see more western damsels. |
