I just spotted the episode title when I was searching to see when the Cleopatra episode would air again. (I tuned in late the last time it airred and thought I had missed the spreadeage scene.) |

There might have been at one time, but the extra commercials they show now requires stuff to be cut out of the older shows. |

There was an unimpressive scene of Collins having her hands roped together to add her to the harem chain gang that isn't mentioned in the DB entry. I figured the author just blended the episode together with memories of "House II" to make it better in their mind's eye. (Like how I combine the lovely Kelly Hu's scene from "Scorpion King" with the tie up in the 1934 version of "Cleopatra". <g>) |

I'm wondering where you got/saw the movie... I bought it from a guy on the 'net some years back and was very happy with it's content. Fairly long scenes, and believe the movie that I saw had everything described by Marburger's book. At the time, I would have listed it to be among my 'Top 20' scenes. Am guessing that you saw a very incomplete, heavily edited version??? BTW, I'd agree with Anubis that "Candy Snatchers" was a decent movie... IMO definitely NOT a candidate for one of the 'worst' ones with scenes. |

I think you're right. It probably is scene creep. I've never heard any details of when it occurs, and there didn't seem to be any place in the plot where it was likely to have happened except at the beginning when she was captured. But having a spreadeagle sacrifice at that point would have been quite a diversion. There is another Fantasy Island where Randi Oakes, in a toga, gets chained in a spreadeagle to a rock, but she's standing up. I've actually seen it. It exists. Stella Stevens orders her unchained. It's not a bad scene and should be coming up in a few weeks. TVLand seems to be showing the episodes in sequence. |

Sunday February 29 02:00:06 2004 Billy the Kid |
Interesting scene coming up on the Billy the Kid special Tuesday on the Discovery Channel. Previews show a woman cleave gagged with hands tied above the head. My guess is that this scene is related to the legend of his death. The story is, the lawmen heard that Billy was going to be visiting his girlfriend, so they went to her house, tied her up and waited for Billy to arrive. When he got there, they shot him dead.

Many thanks to G-Man for the rundown of scene times for Saturday's 'Hack Attack'. Left Coasters owe you a biggie. I'm thinking that the scenes constitute the Year's Best, tho 'tis early. The damsel was superb [kind of a 'weathered' Elisha C.], the scenes lengthy and suspenseful, and the tape bondage seemingly quite thorough. Quibblers would point out that the lighting was poor [it WAS a basement!!] and the tapegag was...ummmm...errr...a tapegag. Still, it gets an 8.0 on my scale. FYI, the CBS website informs that the title of the episode was "Misty Blue". That's helpful, but they do NOT give the damsel's name. Anybody catch the credits at the top of the show when that should have popped up? |

Great scene, cute damsel, nice mmmppphhing, decent length. She even gets a handgag AFTER she's tapegagged. The actress is Catherine Kellner. |

Monk Episode: "Monk Gets Married" -The scene occurs within the last 15-20 minutes of the episode. The 50ish actress in the predicament is Susan Kellerman. No closeups but scene is okay. |

Some years ago, (1998 or 99)they ran a feature on army special forces training and showed an exercise where a woman in the role of an enemy guerilla is capture and bound and gagged. |

I did remember a scene with a brunette tied (horizontally) to a slab is a cave of some short for some reason. I had in my mind that it was the same eppy as larry linville/Julie Sommars scene (I did remeber it was a damsel in distress double feature). I was really surprised that it was Joan in that episode becuase I thought I was aware of her at the time & didn't remeber that it was Her in the cave. What must have happened is I caught the quick Joan handstied scene & remembered that I wanted to see it again. sorry about the bad D-base entry the other scene does exist and I'm VERY curious to find out what it was. It was Definitely NOT the Rhandi Oakes scene. I remeber that one & she was awesome. It might be "The Tomb" (don't quote me but I think its Jeannie Wilson in that one). Stay Tuned |

Looks like the caps were lightened up a bit from the clip.
Dark but nice scene. She appears to be wearing a dress/skirt and black boots. If anyone saw the episode maybe they can confirm/deny this. I like her captor's line "I'm sorry to leave you like this all day, but i had to show up at the office". Talk about trying to focus at work......... |

~~~~ I liked his response to her (standard) sweet-talk attempt: "If you let me go, I'll do anything you want." The stripper knew that what had set him off before was her refusal to do a striptease for her sleazy boss when he brought her to his house. He considered his response, and I thought this is where he'd fall into the trap of so many incompetent evil captors before him. But instead, without saying a word, he re-gagged her, smoothing down the tape. I guess he managed to figure out that she could always later do whatever he'd want, if she was bound & gagged... |
Sunday February 29 19:57:26 2004 Hack (Misty Blue) |
Even though tape is my least favorite of the Big 3 (cleave, tape and ball), I too thought that this was a really nice scene. Pretty girl, decent tie, nice closeups and a real nice damsel in distress feel.
Even though the tape gag looked quite nice, did anybody else notice that when the hero ungagged her, he paused with the back of the tape towards the camera for a moment, and you could see the backing they had put on it to keep it from sticking to her lips. I'd guess that there was maybe a quarter inch border on top and bottom that was still gummed. Gotcha!! |
A spoiler for this week says "The killer holds Eve captive and forces her to call Natalie."
Eve is a new character played by Lisa Barnes. I could not find a picture of her on the net so I have no idea if she's someone we'd like to see b&g or not. |
I believe Eve is the mother of the FBI agent, John McBain. She's up there in age (50s?) like the Rae character was. |
