Guiding Light
There was nothing on GL on Thursday. It appeared the episode was a waste episode, simply to save any dramatic stuff until Friday. Marina wasn't even with the other two females, so I don't know whether there's a showdown coming on Friday.

Without a Trace, "Risen"
Pretty good scene on Thursday's episode. They look for a troubled teenager 4 years after she disappears. 14" in, they find a video tape showing her wearing bra & panties, tape gagged and spread-eagle tied to a bed (feet not tied). On the tape she is being strangled by a guy. Turns out she made the tape herself because she's a sex addict with a rape simulation fetish. At 21" a piece of the same tape is shown again, this time not as close. The tape is grainy, but some nice mmphing. I couldn't find the name of the female star, even on the CBS website.

I say they should leave open the possibility of casting an unknown. However, out of known actresses, I would say Fabiana Udenio.

I know that they've cast Katie Holmes in the movie. If thats as talia or not remains to be seen. Speaking of batman has anyone seen the new batman fan film? It's supposed to involve Barbra Gordon getting kidnapped.

A *fine* choice, Tapemaster. (Incidently, cinescape.com says WB has issued a correction, & Liam Neeson *won't* be playing Ra's al Ghul, but a good-guy character. That doesn't mean we can't play our game, of course.) :-)

*My* choice for Talia is someone I've long thought would make a fine villainess, if only she'd turn to the Dark Side: ANGIE HARMON. :-)

I taped that simply because Kirstie Alley was a guest, but they uglied her up immensely in the entire episode, add in that Kristie has lost some of hotness anyway and she looked pretty bad. As for the scene, videotape scenes are usually poor and this one was really bad in my view.

Very good call as always Van Ole buddy..

you know who I would LOVE to see as Batgirl..
batgirl as a 20ish coquettish las

LINDSEY LOHAN

Die her hair really firey red and she would be awesome from what I've seen of her recent projects she is on the road to becoming a really fine actress.

I always liked the batgirl charector as a bit of a (slightly)bumbling novice who had some major crimefighting talent but needed more training and experience.

How do I suddenly know what mental pictures Van is making about the words "batgirl" and "training" used in the same sentance.

Friends
The final episode of "Friends" will air May 6.

Unfortunately, it missed one of its last obvious setups for a scene a couple weeks ago when Danny Devito guest starred as the "policeman" stripper for Phoebe's bachelorette party. Since handcuffing the guest of honor to their chair is sometimes employed as a schtick of those "policeman/policewoman" acts, placing Lisa Kudrow in the cuffs would've been a logical comedic element.

Yes. It's called Batman: Dark Justice. It's at this site: http://www.batmanfanfilms.com/?domain_redirect/table.html. Just click on films then the title. Barbara is tied hands in front, arms to side, and is cleave gagged with a bandanna. Overall, it's a good film. Just be warned that it's 39.9megs in size.

I just wanted to put in a Here Here for this update, I also saw the Promo, was at a friends house in a different state and couldnt post.

The female appeared to be a very actractive 20's brunette in a halter-top dress much like the ones the women would wear in the western TV shows. She was visually tied by the wrists to the top bedpost and cleve-gagged with a fairly thick bandanna. She was apparently being held as a "bait" trap for The Kid. At least thats what my memory recolects from the 3 second view, looks like a keeper.

However, that brings up an interesting topic for discussion, what was the most memorable scene that you saw for the first time at someone elses house or with some one who was not alerted to our particular feelings on the DID thing? And were helpless to tape, comment or otherwise enjoy it.

I clearly remember the Wonder Woman episode where she was chained to the floor of a cell, I was at a family outing at my aunts house, about..oh....20 YEARS AGO and i still remember it like it was yesterday.

Sounds like either a clip from the classic "Hollywood retelling" of the Billy the Kid story in 1943's "The Outlaw" (where Jane Russell's assets made her an instant Hollywood bombshell), or an homage to "The Outlaw"' b&g scenes.

I'm pretty sure Discovery Channel's "Mythbusters" program would bust (pun unintended!) a myth of an Old West equivalent of Jane Russell actually being utilized by Pat Garrett.

Guiding Light
This could be great on Monday or major bust. Typical soaps. At the end of Friday's episode, the 5 dads arrived at the fairgrounds to close the episode. In Monday's preview, villain lady says "One of you girls must die to even the score" (for her dead daughter killed by the drunken antics of the 5 years earlier). No shots of any of the females. I only saw bits before the finale, but Lindsay McKean (Mara) was home with Josh and Reva, but no sign of Marina or Michelle. They all could should be involved in this on Monday. Maybe they'll get grabbed at the beginning. Likely a bad tease, but we'll hope for the best.

It's not from "The Outlaw." Jane Russell gets the full treatment twice in that film, but in both cases its a standing spreadeagle and it's outdoors -- no beds involved.

Could be an homage. I don't think there was any historical event relating to Billy the Kid where a gal was used as bait in this way, so I'm wondering what the heck that scene is all about.

I remember an episode of Dallas that I saw when at a friend's house where a woman in a baby doll nightdress was tied hands behind, and I think gagged, when her baby was kidnapped (I think I tried to remember it as the 'Fallen's Funeral' episode in case it came around again but not sure as I did not usually watch Dallas). I dont think they had a VCR then anyway and the family showed no interest.

One Life to Live
"Rae" (Linda Dano) was shown bound and gagged at the beginning of today's episode. It didn't take long for her captor to take the gag off. She remained tied for a while with the gag around her neck. Eventually he untied her. The scene ended with him saying "Lights out" or something like that as he actually turns off the light. I was thinking we might get more footage of Linda Dano bound and gagged only this time in real danger. HOWEVER, when we see her next, it is her DEAD body on the floor made up for some kind of ceremony. She was killed off-screen. The killer douses her body with gasoline, lights a match, and throws it down. Very depressing.

My first choice for the Bat Brat has always been NIKKI COX, but she's growing out of the window, & LINDSAY is growing into it quite nicely (...is *in* the window, actually.)

As usual, the clowns who made the post-Tim Burton Batman movies have been consistently clueless. Robin is supposed to be a youngster, & his relationship with Bruce/Batman is supposed to be paternal. Batgirl is supposed to be a gifted teenager & Batman is flustered by her semi-maturity. Batgirl is all innocent flirtation, street-savvy coolness, & rational intelligence---yet she's not above crying on Batman's shoulder if things get nasty (much to Batman's discomfiture.)

Also as usual, the Animated Series people keep getting it right.

Anyhoo... LINDSAY would make a *PERFECT* Animated Series-style Batgirl.

Re: Bettie's Bio Pic
I'm a pessimist at heart, and Hollywood screwing up is par for the course, but...I think there's a high probability of seeing Gretchen/Bettie in significant bondage in the bio flick.

Let's face it: Page would've been just another fondly remembered pin-up if not for her abrupt turn into high fetish shoots. The contrast between her wholesome demeanor and leather dresses/ballgags is what enticed her fans in the first place, not to mention the subsequent legal drama surrounding that product.

To gloss over what was probably the most influential period in her life, personally and professionally, would be inexplicable.

Cohen, thanks for the information. I just saw it. I think it is a very good scene. There are plenty of shots of Barbara Gordon bound and gagged, including closeups. Just like the short film "The Drop" (with a classic bound and gagged scene for Carolina Acosta) which we were talking about a while back, the film basically IS the DiD scene. The film is only 11 minutes long. You can imagine this scene coming on after 45 minutes of plot development if it was a TV show.

Two Possibilities
Last night I saw a commercial on PBS for a new program called COLLONIAL HOUSE. where several people will live like they did in 1600's America. Other than being an interesting piece of historical TV, one scene in particular might prove useful for us. One of the female stars was commenting on the freedoms we enjoy today, among them being religious freedom. She basically said she would rather be tied to the whipping post then being forced to go to church every Sunday. There was a quick shot of her sitting against a post. COuldn't tell if she was tied to it, but that was the impression I got. Might be worht checking out when the show comes on.

Secondly, while scanning the channels, I stopped on Telemundo and came across a commercial for a show starring the cute Gabriela Spanic to be called LA PRISONERA. I only caught a quick glance, and it seemed to be sort of like THE COLLECTOR, in that she has appartently been kidnapped by an admirerer. Saw a quick shot with what looked like her tied with AOH. CAn't wait to check it out. THe ad said it was coming "MUY PROMIXMO"

----
Other than "incompetence", there are two plausible ways that Bettie Page wouldn't necessarily have to be seen in bondage:

1) Bettie Page appeared in numerous Klaw photo layouts and films as a dominant, so in the one or two scenes a biography film would allot to her "Klaw Period" it'd only show this side (while only referring to her turns in the ropes & gags in conversations). Of course, this wouldn't have to be a total loss, depending on who are cast as Klaw's other models, and whether they're shown in bondage.

2) Bettie has a scene being photographed as a submissive, but it involves a "spanking" without bondage (Bettie did pics playing both a spankee and spanker, w/ and w/o bondage).

I myself would've had higher hopes for the previously-rumored teaming of Liv Tyler and Martin Scorcese (who had a nice b&g scene for Linda Fiorentino by her dominant boyfriend in "After Hours"), but I'll cross my fingers anyway.

To each his own. It's the same old boring, cliche ridden nonsense that most of you have seen a hundred thousand times. Needless to say, they closed the festivities with her giving the rescuer the obligatory thank-god-i'm-alive hug.

You're critiquing the story, not the bondage scene. Just was pointing out the scene is all. If you're that critical, you're probably not a fan of the half the scenes in the scene database on this site. Alot of them are from B-movies.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this cliche being used since the silent movie era? I thought it was a good scene overall. You take what you get. :)

It's hard (for me) to divorce the bondage scene from how it's presented. If it's presented in a trite, predictable way, the overall value is obviously lessened. You're right tho, I am not a fan of a lot of the stuff in the database. Different strokes.

The storyline about "Jessica" is great. Let's hope it turns into something really good. I was only referring to the "Rae Cummings" storyline. Like a lot of people here, I don't like it when the damsel gets killed. This scene was a perfect example of that. Even though she was killed off-screen, I still thought it was very depressing. I want to see the damsel bound, gagged, and SAVED.

Are soap operas having mass firings or what?

Don't worry I caught your true meaning, I just needed an intro for my mine.

But don't get your hopes up that Rae is actually dead. 9 out of ten times when a character on a soap is assumed dead on Friday, they wake up and shake it off with just bruises on Monday. (Plus, the IMDB still has her listed s on the show.)

Haven't seen too many spoilers about the girls next week, but what little I've seen does not look good for us. Sounds like the rings that Maryanne (villain woman) gave them are somehow going to be used to drug them. A definite spoiler said the men were going to be wandering around the fun house looking for the girls, who are going to be stumbling around looking for a way out. Maybe at least one of them will start out bound and/or gagged, but I'm betting that none of them will get it.

Worst thing if this doesn't pan out is that Aubrey Dollar (Marina), who is a mega-gorgeous reddish haired babe that already gave us two nice b&g scenes, one in a micro mini-skirt, is leaving the show in 2 weeks. So no more of her seeing the ropes again. Her character will be replaced.

The database shows that she has had 2 scenes, but only 1 with a gag. Is that what you are referring to, or are you referring to ANOTHER scene of Aubrey Dollar bound and gagged that most of us are not aware of?

Keep in mind that soap opera actors/actresses are always leaving and coming back. She may return to the show at some time in the future, or she may get cast on another soap.

Monica Bellucci. Oh, yes. But I'd still love to have her star in a Wonder Woman movie too.

As for Batgirl, how about the actress who played Black Canary's daughter in "Birds of Prey"? I can definitely picture her with red hair and in a skintight outfit.

Camino a Premio Lo Nuestro
I caught a promo for "Camino a Premio Lo Nuestro" (Univision, Sunday at 10pm Eastern) with what looks likes (wasn't really a good shot) a woman with her hands bound while singing.(click the link for a cap.)

It also looks like an awards ceremony show so I don't know if it is from this year's show or maybe just a clip from last year.
