Probably being one of the only guys who watches this on a regular basis, I seriously don't think that there is anything coming up. The current villain thing just got resolved, so unless some new villain swoops in and kidnaps every woman on the show (I'd love to see a multiple damsel scene on that show right now so badly), I'm not expecting anything to happen for some time.

Possibility for Wrestlemania XX
Molly Holly will wrestle Victoria for the Women's WWE Championship at WM XX on March 13th. If Molly loses, she will have to let Molly shave her head.

Since Molly is such a firecracker, I doubt she would let this happen without a damn good fight....maybe restraints would be in order?

It's a long shot, but worth watching out for.

Take two. I meant to say that Victoria would shave Molly's head. Sorry 'bout that.

Funny You mentioned it, I visited Universal Studios last month and they had a "Sinbad" stunt show spectacular with a very nice looking 25ish female playing the part of the princess. There is a short sequence where she is brought out of a ships bulkhead "bound" arms over head and sinbad cuts her down. Good= the ship is in the midst of the audience so she is very close, Bad= it is obviously a stunt rope...not very realistic for us..but I bet the majority missed it.

The Policeman Stripper

Crook and Chase" in celebration of Lorianne Crook's birthday, a male stripper dressed as a cop comes out and
cuffs Lorianne's hands in front, then proceeds to do his "thing". One closeup of her hands near the end of the show.
----
I seem to recall a TV show or TV-movie where a woman was having her bachelorette or birthday party. There's a knock at the door, and a "policeman" inquires about the owner of a car (I think intoning that it's illegally parked, or something). After he's pointed out to the guest of honor, he handcuffs her wrists behind her chair. She begins squealing and laughing, as she realizes her gal pals have hired a stripper when he turns on his boombox and begins doing his thing.

Anyone recall the scene and the actress?

Found it!

It's called "Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation". The links is a brief trailer without the Marion scenes, but it looks like it has run offline, not on. Maybe it will go straight to vid.

Speaking of that, when was the last time the Soaps (American) gave us two or more gagged damsels in the same scene? GH with Lynn Herring and Kristina Wagner in the house of mirrors maybe?

View of Terror
Ugh! Lifetime aired this new Shannen Doherty movie yesterday and they totally bungled what by any objective measure should have been a scene. The killer knocks her out and she wakes up unbound?!! And then he tells her not to say anything as he goes to attack her boyfriend! The mind boggles... When Shannen is in the basement however, there was a muffled scream but I missed the very end -did anything come of this? She had a hot friend.

Ahhhh yes. I'd had The Hitchhiker "White Slaves" on my member site for a while, but I hadn't realized just how cappable it was until Jay gave me no excuse not to try it. And if that's not enough, The Mini-Skirt Mob is new on the site as well.

well personally I was wishing for a story where some mysterious villain had problem with the women of "Fusion" (Mia, Simone, Greenlee, and Kendall) so he kills them off one by one.

First Simone and Mia (of course they just disappear and everyone THINKS he killed them)
a week later we see that they are both alive and being held captive bound and gagged.(hopefully dressed in those short skirts and HEELS...lol)

well he captures Kendall then Greenlee or vice versa and all four are imprisoned with some insidiously evil end planned...natch they are rescued in the nick of time with nary a scratch or broken nail.

I ain't holding my breath for the writers to do that
but much like Kim...
It is ~~Possible~~

I've actually thought about a scene like that before as well. But, hey, give me a scene with Greenlee and Kendall together and I could die a happy man. These have to be two of the hottest women in soaps today.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a "mother-daughters" thing with Erica, Kendall and Bianca as well...would be very interesting.

Re: Possibility for Wrestlemania XX
As a big-time wrestling fan, I have to say that anything to do with Molly being restrained or anything of that nature is a looooong shot. The WWE publishes magazines with thier Divas posing in bathing suits/lingerie and anytime Molly is in them, she is almost fully clothed in all. She seems to be too much of a shrewd. I'm wishing for something for that Playboy tag match with Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler and the tasty Jackie.

It'll likely just remain a pipe dream. Remember Greenlee's tie-up scene? Kendall, her biggest rival, has a perfect chance to gag her when she walked in and found her tied to the post and Greenlee was even mouthing off to her, and nothing. I've always thought Kendall was the best candidate for a spur of the moment scene due to her mouthing off to everyone, plus she's constantly arrested, on trial, or in the police station, but nothing has developed yet. I'll also cast my vote for Bianca.

Re: Amateur Indy
AICN is reporting that these guys have just sold the rights to a film about them and their epic obsession. Even though Paramount would likely be the studio releasing it (producer Scott Rudin has a deal with them) I'd be surprised if they would allow any sort of general release of the remake itself.

On the other hand, Time Warner seems to have left alone that amateur "Batman" film with the B&G Babs Gordon (along with other amateur Batman stuff, Wonder Woman, etc.), so maybe there is hope for the Raiders remake to turn up online.

Strangely enough even though Alicia Minshew (Kendall) is someone I'd REALLY love to get a full treatment

The girl on that show I'd most like to have a great scene...

if i could choose but one...

It would have to be Simone

there's just something about that girl that really knocks me out!

Context in DB entrys?
I know that there is some discussion as to ensuring technical accuracy in the database (types of bonds, length of scene, when it occurs) but I've noticed that a lot of the descriptions don't list the context of the scene.

For example, for me the heroine struggling and ummpphing while the hero is outside unaware that she is in trouble is a better scene than one of her sitting in a chair with her mouth taped while the hero dukes it out with the villian.

Cappers try to get the best view of the damsel, in the process restricting the field of view of the scene. People posting clips often trim out any action that does not involve a closeup of the Damsel.

Let me give you 3 quick examples.

The famous 2 Damsel "Big Valley" scene in the basement. I had read in other places descriptions of the bonds and had seen jerky edited clips centered on the damsels some of which involved "danger music" and appeared to show them asleep. It was only when I got a fuller clip that I realised this was a death trap scene with the Damsels slowly secoming to gas. This fuller clip was far more thrilling to me than the jumpy version.

Anubis recently posted a clip from "Bracken's World." I'm not criticising the way it was clipped (I'm glad I don't have to pay for his bandwidth) but it wasn't clear from the edited clip that a tour party comes close to finding her. Based just on Anubis's clip I would have thought that she was just tied and left somewhere remote with the villian comming in to gloat periodically. The nearness of rescue, and her attempts to get attention, make that scene more powerful for me. Where it not for a good DB entry I wouldn't have known the context of the scene. That difference moves it from a "yeah well" to a "tape it if you can" for me.

Finally the episode of SWAT with the two teens. I found a clip on Bindher that shows one of the girls discussing the disappearence of a girl with a "mom" character. This character does not appear in the DiD scene. So what is the setup? Is "mom" a crook? is she being forced to act as if everything is normal because the bad guys hold her daughter? Does she get a scene? From just the clip I have no idea what is going on.

Just a few lines to help set up the scene is all I'm asking, something that tells me if this is a "bad guy uses good guy's girl as bait" scene or something with more weight.

Yeah, this is a problem without a solution - what to cap?
If you stick strictly with the bondage scene in most movie / television scenes, you can usually get away with doing the clipping with a reasonable size file (say 5-8MB) - just an estimate, but to properly depict the lead up to a scene and everything else - you're looking at HUGE file sizes (20MB perhaps)- this just isn't a bandwith problem, but one also for the user - I get regular complaints that file sizes are too big, and take hours to download - not everyone has high speed - a NO win situation.
I think the basic idea for clips is to point the end-user in the right direction - if he/she likes the basic scene so they can go out and purchase the original full length version.

Interesting twist today, the cop who is trying to catch the Music Box Killer had a (really, really hot) cousin move into his town and he's already concerned about having her there. She's the rebellious type so theres a possibility....

MJ: I'm actually happy with the clips the way they are done. I appreciate the effort that people put in to make them and they satisfy most users. I think this relates more to how I use the database. I essentially use it 3 ways.

1) To see if a movie I'm watching does have a clip...... very important especially for TV Movies on WE where promising setups have a tendency to peter out.

2) To verify Ebay claims of good bondage scenes in advertisements for obsure videos.

3) When a clip or cap looks interesting and I want to know more.

It's 3 that I'm talking about in this case. Take Anubis's "Braken's World" clip for example. From the edited clip it appears the bad guy ties her up in a barn and leaves. We hear voices but it doesnt make sense. Now girls tied and left places are common DiD fare, and the damsel has a simple detective OTM gag and few visible bonds. On the basis of the clip it's a 2 out of 5 for me. Add in the tour, the possibility of rescue and the damsels attempt to draw attention with her shoe and it's up to a 4. I didn't get any of that from the clip, only from a good DB entry. With just the clip and a bare technical description on the DB the scene would have remained a 2 and I would have probably passed on it had it come on something like TV Zone.

If the Cappers and Clippers can't preserve that context (and why should they) then it has to be preserved someplace and the DB entry seems as good a spot as any.

Yea, no doubt about this one. First time I saw KGA it was in one of those 'individual booths' in a peep show on New York City's 42nd Street... (I liked it a lot and ended up buying it later). But, anyway, ain't no mainstream movies ever shown in a peep show --- bondage scene or otherwise.

I would just like to thank Jeb for those Tomb Raider scans. They were great!

I'd also like to also announce another update of Knotbusters, my website. The latest chapter of Cynthia is up, along with vidcaps of Natural Born Killers and Zero Woman: Final Mission. The results of last month's survey is up, along with a new survey for April.

It's a question for those making scene tapes too. How much
is enough and how much is too much. I usually only keep
stuff directly incidental to the scene, so that extra
material is no more than 10-15%.

Err, what? The girl talking to the woman is the second

There certainly can be more context in the database if
desired, although that's not something normally read on
it's own. It's a guide for people acquiring scenes.

Updates can be posted to Corrections, of course.

Probably true but the opposite may not be always be true. For instance when I was in Amsterdam a couple of years ago Dutch TV channel Nederland 3 was running 1950's Bettie Page reels around midnight.

The Thursday, October 4, 2001 listing in Televizier, a Dutch TV listing mag, for the series they called "Pin-up queen: Betty Page!" included the episode description "Betty gets bound and kidnapped". Naturally I tuned in that night.

Other shows on mainstream Nederland 3 earlier that day included Sesamstraat (Sesame Street) and Nova. Of course I don't expect to see this kind of programming mix on US TV any time soon. Thank God for the Dutch!

Navy NCIS
Ok, so David McCallum is held hostage along with a pretty brunette in tonight's Navy NCIS. At the end they show HIM taking off a black tape gag. All we get to see is a very quick shot of her wrists bound behind her. Presumably, she was supposed to be gagged too, but we don't see any trace of that. If you're into bound wrists, it's a nice, but very quick, shot.

yeah, I noticed that it was pretty much a missed opp too. Combined with the one on Monday night it's been a pretty frustrating week. Billy the Kid came through, but we KNEW it was gonna come through...
