The hope is she's being kidnapped by being thrown into the laundry basket and maybe that will lead to something in the ransom exchange. The bad guys are after the dog, from reading the previews. |

Even if the scene (if it even existed) got cut from the final release, there's still a chance it might make it into one of the special edition DVDs QT has planned. "First up, according to the latest issue of Video Business, director Quentin Tarantino has big plans for both Kill Bill, Volume 1 and Volume 2 on DVD. The director has been quoted as saying that he cut an alternate version of Kill Bill, Volume 1 for release in Japan, that will be released in the States eventually. This version contains both new footage and omissions. He also plans to assemble a complete 4-hour version of both films together for art house theatrical screenings. Look for a multi-disc "major special edition" of both films on DVD, which may include significant deleted scenes (including the original introduction to the character of Bill, who originally fought Michael Jai White, as well as the original scene at the wedding chapel). Tarantino is also reportedly considering releasing additional stand-alone supplemental discs after the main DVD release. He was apparently inspired to do this by Universal's recent American Pie: Beneath the Crust DVDs." |

Looks like the gagged damsel will be Theresa. She's heading to the hospital right now. |

Nice to see the white adhesive tape used in a scene. Downside: No closeups and the weakest cholorform scene I've ever seen. Check it out if you recorded it. Couldn't be more lame. The damsel passed out the second Theresa put the cloth over her mouth and not one sound of protest. We may see the damsel again on Monday when the scene resumes. |

Someone else can post in detail as I am 'out the door' for the weekend: there are a couple, maybe 3 scenes on Monday's Passions episode (which aired on Friday here) - the damsel remains in the closet, wakes up and starts to struggle, makes some noise, but remains undiscovered. |

Friday April 16 17:27:25 2004 Van's First Law of DiD Scenes |
> > VAN'S FIRST LAW OF DiD-SCENES IN MAINSTREAM MOVIES & TV: It's never about the BONDAGE; It's always about the STORY.
...& another thing: Over the years, almost every series I've ever watched (Charlie's Angels, Wonder Woman, X-files, Buffy, Charmed) has been an exercise in FRUSTRATION. DiD-scenes are ALWAYS few & far between, & series become hotbeds of bondage *only* in fond, flawed, & highly selective memory. ---- >...my biggest disappointment was "Charlie's Angels". ---- Also very high on my "Disappointments" list would be the "Star Trek" franchise: Star Trek, ST-Next Generation, ST-Voyager, ST-Enterprise, Enterprise, and the numerous ST movies. Since perhaps 30% of their episodes have either one of the crew being captured or imperiled, or some innocent populace being imperiled, the omission of memorable bondage scenes can be puzzling. Adding to that frustration is that the Star Trek female series regulars are invariably *very* attractive. Yet until Enterprise's "Shadows of P'Jem", I can't think of a standout episode. And it's not like the genre of Sci-Fi should rule out imaginative DiD scenes: e.g., Lexx, "Dune", and countless B-movies have generated decent scenes. And anyway, what the heck would a Ferengi program into their Holodeck programs? |

Further, even when there are scenes we are often left wanting. Wonder Woman bound spread eagle on the floor but left with her belt and thus the power to simply stand up and worse NEVER GAGGED IN HER OUTFIT. Only two of the five or six angles gagged. GIrls rarely tied at the ankles while wearing skirts. But I guess we can't expect a mainstream actress to be tied up like a bondage queen, now can we? |

LOL I WISH Theresa and Chairty are two of my absolute fave soap damsels boy would i love to see both of them get a full treatment Charity did have two tied up to a post scenes one I have (she's dressed as a pilgrim and burned at the stake for a play but Tabitha made sure it was ~almost real~) and the one in hell that I totally missed :(( |
Friday April 16 18:12:35 2004 Re: Passions |
The damsel's name is "Heather", played by Alison Robertson. She is VERY attractive. She is not the nurse, but rather the surrogate mother that "Theresa" is taking the place of. I think it is a very good scene. She is even barefoot. I can't wait to see it on Monday after she wakes up from her chloroform induced nap to find herself bound and gagged! |
