TWO kidnapped characters in the movie? I wonder how they'll both figure into the plot. Thanks for the additional info. |

> So was there anything at all in NY Minute? Thanks alot Very sad to say, no. No one actually gets jailed, though Ashley's character does hold her wrists together in front of her when she thinks she's about to be arrested. The truant officer makes a point to tell her, "I don't use handcuffs." (Grrrrrrrr) For some reason, Ashley continues to hold her wrists together for another minute after that. But she quickly escapes. Mary Kate's character does get abducted, but Andy Richter merely drops her into a box. She's later shown in a locked room, from which she quickly escapes. Great opportunity for a scene, but nada. Very disappointing, because Mary Kate in particular is looking very fine. |

Oh well, had my hopes up a little to high probably. I appreciate the info. |

Tuesday May 04 02:21:48 2004 "Jake 2.0" unaired episodes |
UK satellite channel Sky One will air the first of four never-before-seen Jake 2.0 episodes staring Thursday, May 6th, starting with long-awaited two-parter Blackout and Get Foley, originally scheduled to kick off February sweeps on UPN. Dead Man Stalking follows May 20, and the series finale, Upgrade on May 27th.
Hopefully, U.K. fans can watch these and report any action. |
Tuesday May 04 03:45:36 2004 BBC America Programs |
Surprised no one here or on the VCR alerts mentioned this that I can see, but on BBC America last night - and repeating now early in the morning on the West Coast - is a 'new' Jonathan Creek episode with the blonde tied and tape gagged, having her hair cut off by her kidnappers (it was already in the scene database, but I think this is the first viewing for American audiences), and a new (for us in America) episode of Murphy's Law with a handcuffed and eventually tape gagged hostage.
I'm too tired to put it in the database along with the storylines that I didn't entirely follow, and I missed a little of each episode. But someone else familiar with these episodes may want to, or find out when they'll be repeated again. Good dramatic programs, with bondage - two shows in a row ain't bad. I like 'Mystery Mondays' on BBC America. |

I wish I knew the name of the movie (maybe > this description will jar someone's memory with a title!) Your description DID jar someone's memory - mine! That sounds very much like a scene from the German action series "Helicops". As you wrote it's a compilation tape, it doesn't have to be a movie scene, does it? --- Record number: 4628 Title: HeliCops Medium: TV Series Actress: unknown Description: Episode: "Todesflug IL 888" (1.9) Rare example of a stewardess receiving the full treatment on a plane - in a German TV series about helicopter cops (thus the title). She is menaced with a knife. When we see her next, her wrists are tied behind her back, she is cleave-gagged with her own scarf and secured on her seat with the belts. She wears a red uniform and black stockings. She moans a little and there are a few good close-ups. There is also a guy next to her -- one of the cops --- but he isn't gagged. No idea why the hijacker used the gag on her, but it's nice the producers added this arty touch with her own scarf! --- I have a feeling there may be minor errors in the description, but I'd say it fits! |

Her would-be rescuer may be attempting to communicate with her, and will be perplexed as to why she can't speak intelligibly. |

> Kim Basinger plays a kidnapped woman who uses her cell phone to contact a
random guy to help her. Previews say she is tied up in the back of a car. I'm guessing there will be no gag since she has to talk on the phone. Also, I read an interview at IGN Filmforce about the movie, and in it one of the actors says that near the end of the movie, he has to rescue his girlfriend who has been kidnapped. The girlfriend is none other than Jessica Biel. It is supposed to open in August 2004. ---- On the IMDB.com message board there's a link to its script (as of last year), if someone here has the time to skim thru it. Though there was no gag, Walker Texas Ranger ("Cowboy") had a memorable setup involving Alex Cahill getting caught using her cellphone, and her depraved evil captor actual behaving like a depraved evil captor. |

Kim Catrall would be more appropriate for the role, since she is much closer in age to the heroine, who would be at least forty-two if she is attending her twenty-year college reunion. I didn't read about the woman who is bound and gagged beside the heroine, so I don't know whether she's young, middle-aged, or old. If she's a relatively young hottie, however, then Ms. Davis should certainly be considered to play her. |

Kim Catrall would be more appropriate for the role, since she is much closer in age to the heroine, who would be at least forty-two if she is attending her twenty-year college reunion. ---- *Kristin* Davis is 39, according to her IMDB.com entry (although of course, she looks younger), so by the time a project could get in production, she'd be close enough to 42 for Hollywood casting purposes. Brian's Pagers can only hope there'd be something half as good as Kate Nelligan in "Terror Stalks the Class Reunion", a very underrated DiD TV-movie, IMO. |

Expect it to be reran during WWE Smackdown (Thursday) during the Raw Rebound part of the show, also reran during WWE Experience and WWE Heat which both air on Sundays. They'll also probably rerun it on WWE Raw over the next couple weeks as they like to build-up storylines by showing past events/encounters between performers. |

The script doesn't have anything about Jessica Biel being kidnapped so they obviously added that later on.
Hopefully this will be a reverse of the TCM3 fiasco where Jesica was B&G in the script but not in the movie. |

Tuesday May 04 16:15:46 2004 Gena Lee Nolin with a bit gag in movie? |
Has anyone seen a late '90s release dubbed "The Underground Comedy Movie"? Recent ads for a mail order offer have been popping up on cable lately. IMO, it looks spectacularly inept and awful, and imdb.com states that it made $800 in its opening weekend. Yes, $800. If you've seen the preview, you can understand why.
This image appears on the movie's web site. Gena Lee Nolin is listed as a cast member and that looks to be her. I can't find any mention of this in the database. Anyone with any more info? |

Tuesday May 04 21:04:17 2004 Abitrary DiD |
The most completely abitrary, unexpected DiD I'd ever seen came from a Korean-developed arcade game named Zero Point. Basically, it's a gun game with a variety of light-hearted goals, such as to shoot balloons, smiley faces, or cardboard cut-outs of things such as witches and robbers.
Anyway, one level features the damsel seen below. The goal there is simply to shoot out the balloons on the spinning wheel behind her, while this damsel tied up arms-over-head swings back and forth serving as little more than an obstacle. But hey, that's one obstacle I don't mind obstructing my view. Anyone else know of any completely out-of-the-blue DiD scenes that you weren't expecting? |

> How was Reiko Aylesworth's bound and gagged scene on 24 > tonight? I'd say, overall, very disappointing. She's first shown in the opening segment, about 7 minutes in. She's walked into a room with a hood over her head. They pull it off and we see Reiko tape-gagged in the same shot as the promo last week, just a second or two longer. Here's the catch. The closeup is shown through a window (a clear one, but it still distorts the shot). One shot from inside the room from behind Reiko. Later, the bad guy marches in to see her and we see Reiko this time through a caged window. Then, an extreme and clear closeup of her face as the bad guy rips the tape off. She does a nice little sucking of her own lips when the tape is pulled off. That's it. She's unbound the rest of the episode and the promo next week shows her drilling a guy over the head and escaping. |

I got it to work (I downloaded the newest Windows Media Player) and I just saw it. I e-mailed in a question for Reiko about her bondage scene but they didn't read it. She talked very briefly about being a "damsel in distress", but she didn't mention the bondage. However, they did show a freeze-frame closeup of her gagged face on the screen in the background a couple of times. At one point Reiko noticed it and turned around to look at it.
