Reiko Aylesworth was bound again on Thursday, but just one hand cuffed in the back seat of a car. Interesting setup almost led to another scene here. After escaping and calling Jack, Reiko was told to "let herself get captured again." Since she only escaped because the fools left her untied, I thought we might get her bound and gagged again for the exchange. No such luck this time.

Hi. I have deleted your post. The gist of it appears
below WITHOUT the inappropriate age references.

========================================================
Just writing to let you guys know of a game show in
Mexico that is very kinky. Maybe you guys already heard
of it, but if not, it's called "Gente con
Chispa", or in English, People with Spark. The show
airs on the Mexican cable network of "Azteca"
or "Azteca 13". I'm in Texas and I get it on
cable. It airs Saturdays at 7 to 9 p.m. central time.
It's a new show that just started in January I believe.
Basically, the contestants which seem to be only
[age reference], both boys and girls, have
to perform different feats to score points and win at the
end. One of the things or a couple things that the
contestants have to do are very kinky, and seemed to be
borrowed from the bondage world. The first, is one in
which the contestants, who normally in this part of the
game are girls, are gagged with a ball-gag and handcuff.
Yes, ball-gagged and handcuffed, I'm not joking. Then
the must try to utter a phrase or some words to the other
contestants and they must try to figure out what the
gagged and handcuffed contestant is trying to say. The
gagged contestant is always standing and normally, the
contestant is struggling with the handcuffs and having a
hard time with the ball-gag to get the words across.
It's great. The next feat, is that all the contestants,
both [sexes] must eat a piece of fruit hanging
from a string, while their hands are handcuffed behind
their back. The [players], must run from their desk, to the
hanging fruit and try to eat the fruit. The cool thing
is that they run back and forth at the command of the
game show mistress. She tells them when to run back and
forth, and their hands are always cuffed. Sometimes the
fruit falls on the floor and the contestants must eat the
fruit of the floor while their hand are cuffed. Yes, a
pretty fun game show. Also adding to the excitement is
that the girl contestants on the show are usually dressed
like their going clubbing. Very nice. At the bottom are
some links to the show.

I've sat through two "Ring" cycles (pity me), and never seen anything. I suppose an imaginative director could work something in, but there's nothing that really calls for it.

It probably will mean that you won't see Nancy bound and gagged nearly as much in the novels, but if she's the stronger, more self reliant type in the future, that doesn't mean she still won't save other females who are in a DiD scenario. Think about it and it may not be as bad as you think.

Take Xena for example. She's the strongest female lead in tv history. Tons of scenes in that show, many of them involving Xena herself.

Nancy Drew & Kim Possible
Funny. Nancy Drew is reduced even further to a cardboard charchter while Kim Possible comes off as being a deep and well thought-out charchter.

KP is not a goodie two shoes 24/7. She has a rivalry with a fellow cheerleader, calls her annoying little brothers "Tweebs" and even makes a mistake now and then.

True, there have been no gag scenes for Kim, but she does get tied up. Last week's nmother-daughter episode had a tie up scene where Mom Possible reveals an embarassing nickname in front of Drakken and Shego. Hillarious.

"KP" also likes to make fun of that old cliche of the villains leaving the heroes to their doom without staying to make sure it happens. Maybe, someday the mention of gags will pop up and get one for Kim, though it may well involve mega putz Ron Stoppable.

ball-gags on game-show
I visited the following link since some months quite regularly

http://books/dreambook.com/didmex/didmex.html

The Spanish-Tv-watchers posted several alerts of (mature) latina ACTRESSES like ANETTE MICHEL, INGRID CORRONADO and MARIANA TORRES getting the full treatment with BALLGAGS as this show seems to invite prominent actresses quite often; perhaps Overlaid or some other Spanish guy could confirm the scenes or add them to the database? Pics would be VERY welcome, too, but most spanish-DID-sites have been placed unter membership-laws at YAHOO.

Hmm, "Ballgag Password". Since game show producers are known for their copycat programming, if Gente con Chispa catches on, I wouldn't mind seeing a "Ballgag $10,000 Pyramid" or "Win, Lose or Draw" w/ wrists handcuffed behind.

Howard Stern, please take notes for one of your future shows...

I went to the website you posted and couldn't find anything about this show. I also went to the main homepage of azteca TV and couldn't find it under programs or a search of "Genta con Chispa". My spanish is pretty limited so I could have been completely off but are you sure that's the correct name of the show because it sounds very interesting. Gracias

I watched a fair amount (but not all) of this movie and didn't see anything of interest. I'm fairly confident that nothing of interest happens in the second hour (definitely nothing in the last 30 minutes), and the way the storyline progessed it didn't seem like anything happened.

Lauren Holly looked phenomenal as usual, and was wearing tight jeans and a white cowgirl hat for most of the show (when she wasn't sneaking around sluething). A full treatment scene would have been incredible, IMO. We may just have to hope this show gets picked up as a series.

Actually, there could be more than one DiD. TV Guide magazine'a description for the Sunday, May 16 episode:

"Stacy (Amy Jo Johnson, who joined the cast this season) works on a case in which she has a personal stake -- a friend's sisters are being held hostage."

The strange and mildly disturbing thing is that a couple of years ago I did a TV show parody that was pretty much the same thing -- "Ballgag Karaoke."

I got my idea from a news item mentioned on this page, about a radio station promo that had guests try to sing recognizable songs through a ball gag.

check out the homepage link for my version ... warning, it's not work safe, has a topless gal in it.

I also found the link below which includes a decription of the labours the contestants have to do; one of those labours is indeed being GAGGED ("pelota in boca") and being handcuffed!!!

You have a good point there. However, the books, from what little I'd seen of them (I paged through a few in high school), have a narrative that closely follows Nancy's exploits. There's a big difference between Nancy being tied up and enduring the ordeals to follow, and Nancy simply discovering someone else tied up in a closet.

So even if Nancy does rescue other DiDs, the books will probably use less description since the story isn't about them.

There is already a new series of Nancy Drew books in stores. I thumbed through the first five that were on the shelf and noted two things:

1. They are written in first person narration. Because of this, I was hoping to hear Nancy herself describe how the gag and ropes were used on her and how they made her feel but...

-alas-

2. None of the books contained a scene. Of course, I only took a cursory glance, but it does appear the new series is 0 for 5.

"Gente con chispa"
Hello all,

This week's episode was no different. Two ball-gagged and handcuffed girls on the mexican game show "Gente con Chispa". I thought I saw one of the girls drooling during one of her challenges. They try really hard to talk through the ball-gagg you know. I know I saw some drool when they took of her ball-gag at the end. I'm including a couple of more links. Someone try to record it and transfer it over to digital pics.

Charisma Indeed!
By remarkable coincidence I read in a Dark Horizons article that CHARISMA CARPENTER has *NOT* been ruled out for the lead role in the upcoming Wonder Woman movie to be filmed in Australia.

...AND...

Charisma has a photo spread (so to speak) in the new issue of PLAYBOY (June 2004)... & she looks WONDERFUL!

I for one hopes she gets the part AND they do a good job with the script & movie AND Diana/WW runs afowl of her own Magic Lasso!

Does anybody like loosies?
I know that I can trace my affection for tight cleave gags back to the first time I saw "Terror Among Us." (like a lot of us, I know) But there are plenty of poorly applied loose gags in tv and film. So does anyone have an example of an influential loosie?
I'm curious to know if there's anyone out there who actually enjoys this phenomenon that pisses off the rest of us.
