Tuesday May 18 00:45:32 2004 Choice of gags |
I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I missed it. Do you think when an actress has to be gagged in a movie or tv. show they can request a cloth gag or tape? Can they ask for the gag to be tied OTM or request a cleave? Do you think if a major star requested to be gagged with cloth rather than tape they would listen? |

Bad guy tapes her wrists and starts taping her ankles when he's pounded from behind by rescuer. Another in a long line of short scenes shown in promos that don't show anything else ("She-Spies twice, "Division"). |

Tuesday May 18 04:57:42 2004 Willard in Japanese with snakes? |
I am looking for the name of a movie I saw once. I think it was Japanese or Hong Kong. It was kind of a rip-off of "Willard". Except the guy had pet snakes instead of pet rats. He lived in the sewers I think. He did capture at least one woman and had her tied up in his lair. Anyone else heard of this movie. I wish I had made a been able to make a copy when I saw it.

The film is the Shaw Brothers' KILLER SNAKES. I think it used to be available from Something Weird, but it's not listed on their web site now. A reportedly more complete edition was released on a Region 3 DVD by Intercontinental Video. It's available from Poker Industries (I've never ordered from this company, so don't construe this as an endorsement): http://www.pokerindustries.com/ |

It is also available from: http://www.hkflix.com/ I have never ordered from either one, but the mail-order video club I use, GreenCine.com, does buy from HKFlix. BTW GreenCine has a lot of non-mainstream DVD's for rent including many of the 'mainstream' classic BD movies. I have rented 'Ginger', and 'Girls Are For Loving' from them among many others. I have not been able to get 'The Abductors' yet because it is more popular. But it is in my queue. |

In your thread on possible changes to the scope of the discussion board, I brought up the issue of hentai as an acceptable topic, but it was never responded to (I did a search for "hentai" so I'm pretty sure on this point.) What's your opinion on this point? |

On tonite's ep it looks like a young girl has a rope tied around her foot attached to a stake in the ground. Unfortunately thats a far cry from brank gags but oh well... |
Tuesday May 18 12:04:44 2004 MORIR DE VECES scene under way |
I caught the last few minutes of today's MORIR DE VECES soap on Univision (airing 10 a.m. CST), and the kidnapping plot line is under way. She's laying on a bed with her wrists tied behind her, ungagged, as her captor lords it over her. I don't know whether she was gagged earlier in the hour or not, obviously, but the previews for tomorrow's show had a recap of today's action, which showed her being handgagged during the initial stages of the kidnapping. Story line should continue for a while from what I understood from previous posts. |

What's your opinion on this point? I wouldn't *presume* to answer *for* Brian, but thought I'd ante in my two cents, perhaps to reframe the question. We all know that certain things are off limits, chief among them "Commercial Videos" (meaning non-mainstream fetish videos.) Also off-limits are any mention of a damsel's age & posting images of nudity. So... within those bounds, isn't Hentai already "allowed?" Of course, beyond lists of favorite titles, I don't see what there is to "discuss." |

Speaking of Heather Locklear, she's starring in a new NBC series in the fall called "LAX," where Heather runs a security team at the airport. Will air after "Las Vegas" on Mondays at 10 p.m. Talk about the possibilities? |

I commend you to the reviews at my homepage link. I particularly commend you to Imma Youjo 2 and 4, The Slave Warrior Maya and Fallen Angel Rina operations of Cool Devices, Wordworth, Dragon Pink and Stainless Nights. Not to be critical Pat - but unless I'm VERY uninformed - 99% of the readers have never even heard of 'GOR' - including myself - you refer to these scenes as if commonplace - this is obviously a fixation for yourself but everyone else just shrugs in confusion, I'm sure. Suggestion: Explain the background to this series - bottom line is I'VE never heard of it AND I've been around the block a few times. |

It's true that a lot of Americans aren't familiar with the Japanese animation/comic book stuff (often referred to as "manga"; "hentai" is manga with adults-only content). But I'd be VERY surprised if most of us here weren't familiar with John Norman's Gor paperback series. For those who aren't, it's a series of sword and sandal type adventures set on an Earth-like planet, where women are routinely bought and sold as slaves. The first half-dozen titles in the series make casual reference to that, and most have a good bondage scene or two. #7, "Captive of Gor" (linked here from Amazon.com) blew it all wide open-- it's decidedly mainstream, but it's a full-scale bondage adventure story, of a woman kidnapped from our Earth to become a slave on Gor. The success of this book embarrassed the hell out of Ballantine, and the then-new DAW sci-fi imprint picked up the series, which continued for another dozen or so books, with the theme of male domination of women taking up more and more pages (though they still usually had a few good bondage scenes in them, as well). The Internet is full of sites relating to the Gorean "lifestyle", and it does seem to attract more women readers than you might imagine. Norman was, essentially, blacklisted for years, but has recently returned to the series (I've not read the newest volume). The books are certainly "mainstream"-- as I say, the first few are decent (if turgidly-written) sci-fantasy adventures, which had their adherents long before he brought bondage to the fore. There were also a couple of direct-to-video (IIRC) Gor films that almost eliminated the bondage/slavery content. Pat's railed against those for years. |

Tuesday May 18 17:24:45 2004 GH Skye's gag |
Skye was still gagged for the first half of the show. 3 scenes today with gag, but she managed to untie herself and pull the gag out of her mouth. Hopefully she'll be gagged again. If this story lasts very long I'm sure she will be. |

Then tell me there is nothing to discuss about them. This may highlight the occasional difficulties I have with Mr. Moderator. By "discuss" I mean engage in an exchange of ideas---Discourse---Give & take---*More* than just sharing information that's little removed from data. "The third tied-like-a-pretzel-for-the-ol'-in-&-out-scene in "Stainless Angel Knights-II" was really cool" may be about as scintillating as we can get with this stuff. Of course, there *are* debates about which titles are "Hentai" & which are "Adult Anime." ;-) |

I checked out your site, and am convinced now more than ever that hentai has no place on a mainstream DiD board. By the way, has anyone come across any more talk, and preferably photos, from the upcoming Kate Hudson horror flick where she said she spent much of her shoot tied up and gagged? |

This probably corresponds to DB record number 4521 as she was gagged with a red cloth in the back of a van (db says mini-van). With this scene and the continuance of the "La Nina De Mis Ojos" scene I posted about yesterday, this morning was a good one for the telenovelas on the Spanish language channels. |

This probably was mentioned, but Elisha Cuthbert (my current favorite blonde) is in the upcoming pseudo-remake of House of Wax coming out this fall. Since the earlier versions had scenes, perhaps this one will deliver, too. |
