I saw Troy today, and can confirm that there is at least one scene of interest. The cousin of Hector and Paris (I don't recall her name) is captured by Achilles men, and tied hands behind back to a post in his tent. There are a couple side shots of her, in which you can see her hands bound with a black cloth. Shortly into their discussion, Achilles removes the bonds.
There might be a second scene, but unfortunately I left the theater during that time, and did not witness any scene, though it seemed like there could have been one. Her wrists were quite red and bloody. |

Does anyone have caps of the Linsey Lohan scenes from "SNL"? |

Sorry...no gag in Touching Evil...just hands and ankles...the actual taping is shown quite thoroughly but after that...just a constant closeup of her face |

>>>>Did you watch Daredevil?<<<<
Unfortunately, yes. >>>>>>She could fill the suit.<<<<<< I suppose it's possible. Jennifer herself jokes at her lack of size up top, saying the wardrobe people are always working miracles to give her cleavage where none actually exists. That doesn't do anything about her lack of height. Micheal Keaton pulled it off in Batman, but I believe that was the exception to the rule. Much more difficult to pull off in the skimpy oufit WW wears. >>>>>Jen's got a much harder body than Charisma.<<<<<< CC could be working out for all we know. Besides, Lynda Carter wasn't "toned" at all and I've never heard any complaints. |

I met her once at a film festival and she is pretty close to 5'9". There are many film making tricks to make the leading man look much taller than his leading lady. I still say she can't handle the action required in this type of role though. Of course hollywood doesn't agree. Even though she made one of the worlds greatest assasins look like she started studing karate yesterday in Daredevil she's been given the role of of Electra in a solo movie. No matter what you feel about her abillities to pull off a super heroine roll she has her chance in Electra so it would be better to put someone else in WW'as costume. As doubtfull as it is that either will produce a scene for it's leading lady you may end up with two scenes with two different babes. |

Saturday May 15 10:34:05 2004 She's a Wonder, Wonder Woman! |
Just when I thought I was OUT... they pull me back in!
The font of all knowledge in the known universe (the IMDb) says JENNIFER GARNER is 5' 9". CHARISMA CARPENTER is 5' 7½". Granted, a Wonder Woman should be buffed, but I've always personally preferred the voluptuous, *defined muscles* look. LYNDA CARTER (5' 9") was *perfect* in that way. CHARISMA (as evidenced by the Playboy spread) can *easily* fill Lynda's shoes, with continued workouts. (...maybe a size down.) :-) By the by... does anyone know the details of WW's "classic" powers? Weren't they originally tied (so to speak) to her costume? The bracers were not just bullet deflectors but were symbollic of the Amazon's captivity at the hands of Hercules? Wasn't the girdle the source of her great strength? The golden lasso made anyone bound with it (or was it just women?) tell the truth & follow orders, right? If WW was "bound by a man" she lost all her powers, regardless? ...or was that just the lasso again? I could wade through a google search, but I figure you guys know the straight skinny. ...which brings us back to Jennifer Garner! (Get it? 'Straight skinny'?) :-) |

Scott Tipton over at moviepoopshoot.com writes a column called "Comics 101", and he just finished a two-parter on the history of Wonder Woman. You may want to look there. |

The bracelet ansd lasso stuff is right and yes origanally any time she was bound in any way by a man she was helpless, fat chance they'll use that in a moviue nowadays though. I'm not shure about the girdle being the source of her strength. The only place I ever heard that was on the tv show. By the way Lynda Carter was a proffesional dancer before she was Wonder Woman. Thats about as tough a workout as there is. She was always perfectly toned, she just never really had any arm muscles to show. |

There was a scene in Troy. Some hot brown hair girl was tied to a post in Achilles' tent

Saturday May 15 12:12:20 2004 Wonder Woman |
A few things of note, re: this discussion.
1. IMDB is often about as reliable as the Enquirer when it comes to factoids. 2. Charisma will never, ever, ever snag the lead in a hugely expensive tentpole movie. The studio is not going to risk $50-$100 million on the head of a minor-league TV actress. And please don't being up Garner: she was being hailed as the "Next Big Thing" two episodes into "Alias." 3. I think it's interesting that Dr. William Marton, who created Wonder Woman and gave her the truth-prompting lasso, also invented the lie detector. |

There was absolutely nothing. And I find it excruciating that Dateline can stretch out a by-the-numbers crime drama to a mind-numbing two hours. |
