I think you're wrong. The trailer I just saw in the movie theatre has a sequence where it definitely looks like there's a cable tie/strap or some such around her neck that's just been loosened, that makes it look like she's been attached to that pole/post that's directly behind her. Why put her in the attic right by a post if she's not attached to it? I bet in some way, she will be. Also, they don't show the van scene at all. I bet that will pay off as well. Taking all gentlemen's bets now . . . |

Monday June 21 03:05:50 2004 The Last Horror Movie |
I saw a picture in the latest issue of the ever reliable
"Fangoria" magazine of a couple tied to chairs and cleave gagged. It is a scene from the upcoming Fangoria film "The Last Horror Movie". It concerns some lunatic killer on the loose. Could be interesting. |

Another film with the same title stars Brittany Daniel. Looks like she's tied up in the poster. |

Monday June 21 12:28:12 2004 Lost Martha Smith Scene |
In one of the episodes, Francine (Martha Smith)was in Afganistan and was captured by a Russian Agent. This is the first scene prior to opening. She is wearing kakhi trousers/shirt. In the next scene the camera pans in to a bound and blindfolded (and possibly gagged) Francine on a cot. The screen say "Beirut" ...... Later she is exchanged in a hostige/spy exchange in DC and still wearing the kakhi outfit. Short scene and only saw it once... It was great.... pics anyone????? |

A 2002 art ehhibit at a museum had one interesting display:
Shannon Griffiths (Toronto, Ontario) shows "Gag Order," a series of images of television and movie stills of gagged women in a wry commentary on the prevalence of this image in popular culture. Who is the actress in the pic? The link also has a pic of Sarah Purcell from TAU (middle square in 2nd row) |

Wow!! I remember either starting or participating in a discussion of meshing DiD images with art for a showing in an art gallery. I wonder how she got permission to use the images and how she got the art gallery to agree to present it? Hey, Mr. Moderator. Could you include DiD artwork to be posted on this site if it meets your approval? |

Interesting. I don't know the film, so maybe that colors my thinking, but does anyone else think that gag looks Photoshopped? The top of it looks like more of a straight line than I'd expect to see with an actual piece of fabric or tape. |

I saw this movie, and she was gagged with several strips of white tape. I don't recall her gag covering her chin, however, so this picture may have been doctored. |

Though the damsel isn't gagged on the album cover, she may have been gagged at some time during the photo shoot. Several pictures may have been taken, some of them in which she was gagged. She isn;t gagged in the one that was selected. This may be why Martha Smith recalls being gagged for the photo shoot, but no picture has surfaced. |

Monday June 21 15:56:12 2004 Passions, ATWT |
"Passions" was bust on Monday. Sheridan was kidnapped, but not bound. She was being transferred on a plane. Not much chance of anything happening here.
Lucy was not shown on Monday's ATWT, though Allison (Kournikova lookalike) is shown finding some loot in a hidden area on Tuesday's preview. It's some kind of game, but I'm not sure any bad guys are on the trail. |

From the context, I'm guessing it's Tovah Feldshuh in "Cheaper to Keep Her". |

A while ago when I mentioned this scene, I had a hard time convincing people that it ever existed. It's in the episode "Wrong Number" (see DB) and probably has been edited out of US reruns. Also, it didn't get that much attention here because Martha wasn't gagged in that episode. |

Will I ever actually manage to catch up with all the cool stuff Jay L's been sending my way, capping-and-clipping-wise? Stay tuned to find out, but in the meantime, here's another down payment. (Gee...from that title, think maybe the scene is from Germany?) |

I read part of a nonfiction book about the Hillside Stranglers, and the murderous duo did indeed bind and gag their victims. I know they did use tape, but they may have used other materials to gag the unfortunate women who fell into their clutches. The producers of the movie may incorporate accurate depictions of the crimes, and this may entail actresses being bound and gagged. |

I can't quite remember the photographer's name, but it was something like Alan Goldman. Second, an episode of Blair Brown's "Molly Dodd" show (the 1 about her father's death, I believe) included a dark scene in her parents' living room (boy, is this a fuzzy memory) with what looked like a poster of a John Willie photo on the wall. Does anyone remember this? Any sign of this series being released on DVD? Third, a local art tabloid featured a color photo (on the cover, and it was a large publication so it screamed at me from the rack!) of the woman photographer posing as Nancy Drew, bound and gagged in a car or airplane. |

There are two Strangler movies coming out soon, the one with a bigger budget is the C. Thomas Howell one, and it trailer on the site and sample pics have several scenes of women bound and gagged with duct tape. > The producers of the movie may incorporate accurate > depictions of the crimes, and this may entail actresses being bound and gagged. Its pretty much impossible for the films NOT to feature bondage, since it played an important part in the crimes themselves and in how the police were able to link the crimes together as a series. Even the tamer TV movie couldn't totally avoid the bondage, even tho it was pretty lame how they did it. Of course, these film's scenes may be too intense for some people considering the outcome, so let the viewer beware. Any day now one of these producers are going to go "You know, nobodies done a serious movie about that Glatman character..." |
