Tuesday July 06 00:22:45 2004 Into the Blue - Jessica Alba |
On fan site http://www.jessica-alba.ws, there are 3 zipped video clips from an MTV visit to the set of the movie "Into the Blue". One of the clips shows Jessica with a handcuff on one wrist, so it looks as if this movie might have a scene in it! |

Tuesday July 06 04:27:29 2004 DOOL BONDAGE |
Looks like it may be a good week for bondage on days. Hope is handcuffed, HOPEfully, ha ha, she will get to taste the gag once again. Later in the week, the cutie who plays Nicole is supposed to get tied up, this is one soap babe who has been long overdue for bondage, I hope she gets to taste a tight cleve gag as well. Speaking of gags, some people say that Christina Applegate may have a bondage scene in the upcoming Ancorman. If this is true, I hope thier is a gag as Ms. Applegate has had a few tie-up scenes in her career but never a gag. Do u think she has a gag clause? Would be especially nice cause the movie takes place in the 70's, that means dresses and nylons, Would love to see her go through the bondagepaces all dolled up in her cute anchorwoman outfit!!! |

Tuesday July 06 08:01:44 2004 Jessica Alba kidnapped IRL |
On another messageboard, someone has come across a Jessica Alba bio that contains the "Jessica Alba was kidnapped in real life ... bound and gagged and locked in the trunk of a car" meme. I know we have had several discussions about this in the past, and as I recall, we came to the conclusion that it was not true. But I forget the basis for that conclusion -- whether it was definitive statement from an Alba website on the topic, or general lack of corroborating evidence.
I'm not asking for another discussion of this topic, but rather: does anyone recall the basis on which we decided the meme was untrue? |

If I ever find where I read it I'll share with the group. |

Tuesday July 06 09:44:58 2004 scripts |
I know once or twice we've found B scenes from reading movie scripts.
Are a lot of scripts available online? I'd love to check out a few fave actresses on the imdb then peruse the scripts of movies I've never seen to see if there is anything I should look for. Nancy Valen for instance was in "Written in Blood" (2002) as Mary Ramson and "Little Devils: The Birth" (1993) a gremlins rip off (a gremlins type movie so screams for a good tie up scene) be fun to read those scripts does anyone know how and where to find scripts?? |

Tuesday July 06 14:14:10 2004 "Days" |
The spoilers had it perfect for Tuesday. Hope was handgagged in the dumpster, then cried out and tried to escape. She got a blow to the back for her trouble and was KO'd. Nice carry scene out of the dumpster, with Hope's cuffed hands shown behind her back as she was carried out. When next scene, she's out cold being cuffed to the steering wheel of her car. She quickly escapes and confronts the same guy in the final minutes. Hopefully, she'll be overpowered again. She looks absurd handling a gun and obviously had Stacey Sheridan as her role model. |

Tuesday July 06 16:04:17 2004 Whispers in the Dark |
Another classic comes to DVD on September 9.
Anyone know if the widescreen presentation can be expected to enhance the viewing experience for our little group? I've only seen the cropped VHS, but based on that great initial pan across Annabella's hogtie alone, I'm thinking there's some definite potential here. (I won't get my hopes up for "special" special features, though one never knows...) |

Tuesday July 06 16:34:39 2004 General Hospital strikes again |
GH did it again...in the last 20-25 minutes, a couple of Sonny's henchmen grab Faith (Cynthia Preston) and pull her behind a few crates on the pier. Sonny gets a call and heads to the pier to find the lovely Ms. Preston with her hands tied behind her back (probably just held there based on the elbow angle), her ankles tied together and a white cleave gag held between her tightly clenched teeth. Nice gag-talk as she tries to talk Sonny out of shooting her. Sonny then reaches down and pulls the gag out of her mouth. Previews show the scene continuing sans gag tomorrow. Also for wardrobe fans, she was wearing what looked like black slacks, a black scoop neck top and possibly black boots or pumps (only distant shots). Check your local listings for SoapNet (GH is at 10pm here in MoTown) |

I'm pretty sure these older movies will never have added footage, since there was no reason for the producers to save that footage back when there was just VHS tapes. Any examples of added footage on DVDs on movies from mid-1990s and before? |

Three gags for Skye and three gags for Faith in the last 12 months alone, yet several other hotties get nothing. (<Kirsten Dunst> Damsel-in-Distress. DiD-scene of the
Year>. Sorry, but with all due respect, I must DISagree vehemently. While I enjoyed the movie and it's special effects, the D-I-D sceen I thought was about on a level of Nicole Kidman's Batman movie scene (i.e., it was nothing special at all). Matter of fact, this scene probably would NOT even make my "top 100" (and not because I'm a "gag snob"). I believe that anyone going to see the movie JUST for this scene will be sorely disappointed (as I was). Even in a less than stellar scene year, IMO this is hardly worthy of any "DID scene of the year" mentions. |

This whole glass half-full/half-empty thing really makes me smile (not that I don't do it myself). :-) Putz contaminaton? Gag? We know VERY LITTLE about Jessica's potential scene, so let's chill. Anyhoo... here's a little *more* information. Via google I found an MTV.com set visit feature... http://www.mtv.com/shared/movies/interviews/i/into_the_blue_set_visit/index.jhtml There's discussion of a fight scene with Jessica wielding a gaffe hook *&* a photo of same in the "on the set" gallery. The top she's wearing looks like the top in the candid photos with the cuffs that Kerhop posted. It *also* looks like the cuffs are on her left wrist (like in Kerhop's photos)... So... If we're going to speculate... Jessica's held hostage so her boy friend will show the baddies where the sunken plane full of cocaine is located. While they dive, Jessica frees herself & fights the remaining guard. Is she cuffed *to* something or will her wrists be cuffed together? In front? Behind? AOH? Suspended from a hovering UFO? What about a gag? Did she escape, or did she seduce the guard & get him to release her? Will a nuclear sub full of bikini-clad amazons surface next to the boat & rescue her? ...maybe we should wait for the movie (or at least 'til more *facts* surface). :-) |

Tuesday July 06 19:07:23 2004 Terminology suggestion |
Hope I'm not too late for this discussion, but I'd suggest either "nevergagged" or "nil-gagged" for a damsel who isn't gagged in a scene, since the ambiguity of "ungagged" might also suggest her gag was removed, even if it was never there in the first place.

I agree with the base idea that "ungagged" should not be used to mean "removed" because of the ambiguity. However, I don't like making up words, "not gagged" works just fine. Also, we ain't going through 9000+ entries. |

Thanks to spike917 for the GH alert. For those who missed it and have SOAPNET, "Faith" is grabbed by Sonny's goons (no handgag or much of note to my mind, but for completeness' sake ... ) around the 34' mark. She's shown gagged about 44', then 52' in. There's sufficient lead-in for the first two scenes if you're set in REC/PAUSE mode ... but there's a jump cut to her in the last, so opt for a running start. |

you know, as a HUGE blindfold fab who has to constantly put up with harping from gag fans anytime a blindfold is used at all, i say HOORAY for NBC for using BLINDFOLDS INSTEAD OF GAGS! BOY, DO I HATE GAGS!
plus, if the scene is a test of her escape-ability, a blindfold clearly makes more sense. a gag would do nothing to hamper her escape attempts. so, YAY BLINDFOLDS! |

Both help bondage a great deal. The blindfold especially oif applied before the binding makes it very difficult to know exactly where the knots are and also what other items may help an escape. A well applied gag makes the use of the teeth, lips or tongue a lot more difficult |

Nice to see that the producers at NBC agree with us that an important talent for a female action star is how effectively she can play a bound captive and how well she can struggle against the ropes that bind her. Can't wait until they get to the 'best mmpphh' portion of the contest :) LOL |

Nintendo Gamer - And proud of it wrote:
> I like it when they're tied around the torso with their hands > tied behind their backs. With their thighs and ankles bound. > Oh and detective gagged. Well, I used to have a specific preference, until I discovered a board where people share their artwork, and I found out first-hand what it's like to be exposed to the same tying style over and over again. One guy drew ALL his damsels tied up pretty much at the same junctions. His first pics were awesome, until they got repetitive. Likewise, I've seen bondage photography where nearly all the models are tied the same ways, same scenarios, etc. Even if I love the tying style, I get tired of the lack of variety. That said, I do have certain preferences that are pretty constant. I don't care for overuse of rope - that is, rope tied at nearly every junction. It creates too much of a "model" look for my tastes. Generally, as long as the hands are useless - either tied together, or arms at sides - and the feet are useless, it's good enough for me. The hands could even be tied in frong for all I care, if there was rope around the torso making them useless. Gag or blindfold only if it adds something to the scene, storywise. If the tying style helps the scene in the context of the story or if camera angles emphasize it (i.e. close-ups of bound wrists trying to reach a pocket-knife), then all the better. To that extent, I actually tend to prefer tying styles that allow some slight amount of mobility, so helplessness and frustration can be conveyed by very slight attempts to move. And you're not the only proud Nintendo gamer here. I have a GBA, GBA SP and Gamecube, in addition to my PS2. On a side note, it seems the one game that's chockfull of DiD - Grabbed By The Ghoulies - is for XBox. Not to mention made by Rare, who I don't really like that much. Anyone have that game and able to tell what the DiD scenes are like? (if so, please change the topic title so this topic doesn't get hijacked). |
