Recent "DOOL" Help
About a week ago I posted a note asking what was up with Days of Our Lives; I had missed one day, and had been taping for the duel storylines with potentially great B/G scenes. Then the following week, there was no sign of them. I thought I had been wasting tape recording all week, pretty sure I had missed a major change in the show. But I knew someone here would know the deal, even if no one mentioned it, so I asked publicly for an update...

Anyway, very quickly someone answered my post with a full summary of what happened, filling me in that those two storylines had abruptly ended and I missed it. I've been remiss in doing so, but I wanted to thank the anonymous poster for helping me out, catching me up and saving me more wasted videotape.

Folks, next time, sign your name when you do a good deed so we can direct our "props" accurately.

Thanks.

Zip on ZOOP
Does anyone know diddley about the scene capped at the link below? "Zoop" translates as "drank" in Dutch ... and the blurb mentioned "seal training". Judging from the images, we're not talking special ops.

Notice the NICKELODEON logo in the corner. I've checked the DB, Epguides and that network's listings, and come up with bupkes.

Looks like it is a Netherlands produced show, thus the reason it might not show up anywhere on the US Nick site. I found a link to something about the show on the Netherland's Nickelodeon site.

Also, if you head over to the Zoop page from the main page and check the episode guide, it looks like this show could potentially have some more stuff. One episode shows a screenshot of the same girl in a cage, and a bit lower down, we see someone getting chroloformed I believe.

Crimes of Fashion - Kaley Cuoco
Saw this Family Channel movie that's debuting Sunday night at 8 pm EDT and thought it was worth mentioning because the premise is one with "scene" potential. The basic plot is that Kaley Cuoco is a wannabe fashion designer who suddenly inherits her grandfather's clothing empire. He was a mob boss and now she's going to try to make the business legit. The movie is listed as a comedy, but that doesn't mean they won't give us a "comic" b&g scene for Kaley. Since it's a Family Channel original, it will repeat many times so I'm sure an alert will be posted if anything pops.

Prisionera
I was just reviewing Friday's episode, and near the end a woman (Bernice?) is handgagged and pulled into a SUV by two guys and a getaway driver. I don't know where it is going but I have nothing else on my taping schedule for 8pm Monday. (Telemundo)

2. Tales from a Parallel Universe

Lexx was the series, which is the missing bit of info.

Actually, either title is technically correct, just in case there was any confusion: the first season of Lexx was officially called "Tales from a Parallel Universe" in the US.

At about the :40 mark there was a quick look at the girl gagged but she was immediately ungagged so she could talk on the phone as proof she was alive. About 10 minutes later she was shown again in a few shots that didn't amount to much more than was shown in the previews. Gotta call tonight's show a big disappointment. Nothign shown for next week's preview.

I totally agree. This show has produced some good scenes, but tonight's wasn't one of them. And, is it me or is this one of the stupidest shows on TV? It is dreadful! The most illogical, poorly written, badly acted show I've ever seen!
Yeah, I'm dateless too

It wasn't just you. This show is an atrocity. It's not even entertainingly bad.
I wouldn't call it poorly written, just totally formulaic.

Scene wasn't anything much. Poor lighting, no lingering shots on the DiD, who was nothing to look at anyway.
