Minor West Coast Alert: Another World
Just stumbled across the 11:00pm Central airing of "Another World" on Soapnet and was pleasantly surprised. Just past the 10 minute mark, a psycho drags a handgagged blonde in a long white dress into a cabin, bolts the door and throws her into a chair. Then after the commercial break (around 20 minute mark) he takes off his belt and ties her hands behind her back and screams at her boyfriend (who's outside) to get lost.

Then at around 30 in, there's a closeup (not a great one) of her bound hands. She repeatedly asks the guy to untie her and he finally does just as her boyfriend comes crashing in through the window. She is never gagged and by the 50 minute mark they're all like one big happy family again! One bonus for me is she's quite sweaty throughout the scene. The scene of her being untied is repeated in the closing credits.

I have no idea if there was anything in the first 10 minutes of the episode or in the episode that aired Wednesday.

Not a spectacular scene and I have no idea who the actress is. The character's name is "Tracy". I do, however, remember this girl from lots of commercials in the early to mid 1990's and I had a huge crush on her at the time. All these years she's been on my list of "ones that got away". Great to see that I was wrong.

This episode (Thursday's) should repeat sometime this weekend on Soapnet.

Well, scratch that. It looks like Soapnet no longer repeats "Another World" on the weekends.

Anchorman
There is nothing in the film. The scene from the trailer isn't even in the print. A lot of the trailer is missing. It was originally R, but cut to a PG13. Hopefully the dvd will remedy what is missing.

I read (I think it was Premiere) that Anchorman orginally ran about three hours. They decided to cut the entire SLA subplot to get it down to two hours. That most likely took care of the bondage scene. Hopefully when the DVD comes out all SLA stuff will be in the extras.

Anchorman DVD
For whatever it's worth, "Anchorman" director Adam McKay has said that there is SO much cut material that the DVD release will include a brand-new 90-minute movie called "Wake Up, Ron Burgundy."

If there is any potential at all for an Applegate DiD scene, I would imagine that it would be there or nowhere.

Disclaimer: McKay and the cast rarely gave serious answers during their press junket, but he seemed serious about this and there's really not much of a joke in it, anyway. Considering how the cast reportedly went off on tangents during shooting, this is probably legitimate.

Yeah, she's gorgeous... if you like blonde, Viking, Valkyrie-wannabe types. Myself, I prefer the elusive copper-tressed, freckled, Celtic-Cutie... like Lindsay Lohan{sigh}; HOWEVER, I make an exception for Major Sam Carter (AMANDA TAPPING), who by remarkable coincidence, on tonight's STARGATE SG-1 season opener, will be captured by the Replicators, encased, & tortured. And if you watched the preview show on Monday, you know at some point she'll be naked & covered in goo!

I just consulted with the individual who produced and maintains the "Price is Right Swimsuit Central" Website, and he cannot recall such an episode. I surmised that he's been watching this program for many years, and asked whether he ever saw an episode in which Dian Parkinson was bound and gagged. He expressed astonishment at the possibility of the existence of such an episode.
This doesn't mean, however, that such a scene doesn;t exist. For how many years was Ms. Parkinson a model on the show? This individual may not have been watching the show when this episode was aired, assuming it was.

This is ridiculous. Once again, the overblown ideas of
"hey I found 100 kindred spirits there must be millions"
raises its head.

Almost no one went to movie because of an indeterminant
trailer. Nobody's figured out yet whether there was
even a scene. Even if there were, I guarantee it never
crossed the minds of the people who put together the
trailer that anyone would care.

This is as silly as a foot-fetishist bitterly complaining
about false advertising because a scene with a barefoot
actress was cut after the trailer was made.

Get a grip.

MTV's Spider-Man animated series
While perusing the voluminous Scene Database using "Spiderman" in the Title search field, I noted that there is no entry for a certain episode of the animated series on MTV. In this episode, Spider-Man is pitted against an evil brother and sister duo. The siblings have kidnapped Mary Jane and are holding her, bound and gagged, inside a warehouse. As I recall, she was gagged with a gray cloth tied over her mouth.
Could someone please compose a Database Entry for this scene? I lack sufficient information about this scene to do so.

Just got in factory boxed DVD of Love Object. Excellent flick! Couple of handgag scenes and she is regagged twice onscreen. Lengthy scenes with lots of facial closeups.

Note the spelling difference, "spiderman" vs. "Spider-man".

Shirley Eaton in her prime was a beautiful actress by almost everyone's standards, and a good one. Remember Goldfinger?

In this scene, her character is very ANGRY! With the crooks for tying her up, with herself for getting duped, and with Templar for making fun of her.

Angry expressions are designed to be the exact opposite of attractive, for obvious reasons, and Ms Eaton did them as well in this scene as anyone could wish.

Nothing on ATWT. Lucy is pining after Dusty and gave him her good luck charm because she wants to help him. Don't be surprised if she sneaks off past her new bodyguards so she can try to help him track down her would-be kidnappers.

Days had a few shots of Sarah Buxton tied the same way as yesterday. Nicole started off with her tape gag looking better, but still barely attached. One short scene, then she was found lying unconscious on the floor. Several nice closeups of her gagged mouth. Later the rescuer started to cut the duct tape on-screen. Next time she's on she's already fully untied. All the dialogue about how she was found tied to a chair and gagged was spoken by the rescuer (too bad, was hoping she would tell people about it). Almost forgot that they showed a quick flashback of yesterday when she was telling Jan to tie her up and how to do it.

Didn't tape GH today.

Love Object
We got the movie in at blockbuster on thursday too, and I was actually a little let down. I am not a fan of ballgags that are too small, and the one used on Melissa sagemiller is not big enough to fill her mouth. The MMphing is also really annoying because of this. There was good rope, cuff and strap bondage, and there is no denying it's worth as a scene, but I guess I hyped it up for myself too much. Bondage is a prevalent theme through the movie, so check it out on tuesday. Still haven't watched perfect strangers, but looks like it has potential.

Attractive is attractive, angry or not. The angrier she looks, the more attractive she gets, in my opinion. She may not be someone's "type," but that doesn't equate with "ugly." I can see how the scene doesn't do it for some people, but it's in my top 40 all time.
