Love object
A little while ago someone was asking about the way Melissa Sagemiller was abducted in the movie. I still haven't seen it, but in the online trailer she is definitely handgagged. The link for the trailer is below.

Spider man 2 reflections
I just watched the movie and after seeing the bondage scene I wasn't actually let down. I am a huge gag snob so this was strange, but it's countered by the fact that I am a huge film fan. As all this dicussion has proved, sometimes it's about the movie, not the bondage. If Kirsten had been gagged, the scene would not have worked as well. The only instances that I think merit real discussion here (regardless of script or screenplay rumors) are scenes that would have worked better with a gag, such as Kill Bill volume II. Even in Freaky Friday (one of my all time pet peeves) showing our favorite hottie Lindsay Lohan bound and Gagged would have served only to increase the length of the film for no real purpose. I guess I'm just saying that we've got to stop critiquing film makers based on whether they give us great DiD scenes. I don't mean to offend anyone and apologize in advance if I have.

Re: Database Suggestion/Question
>>>>Some posters, such as Biffy are very thorough with scene
lengths and times. If that what you requesting for all?<<<<<

I suppose the more info the better, but OTOH, it's overkill to have 3 paragraphs on some obscure 3 second scene that has no overriding value.

For me personally, other than the basics, all I really want to know is (1) Is she gagged? (2) The general length of the scene, and (3) Is it worth really going after? I realize this last one is subjective, but generally most people are on the same page with this one, and it basically takes care of all the other details.

I wouldn't mess with any of the current DB entries. I'd suggest simply adding a few checkboxes and maybe some sort of star-ratings system. Over time, all the entries would get properly tagged.

for those canucks who get this australian show, there's an excellent scene in season 6 with Kate Kendall.

Star ratings are VERY subjective ("one's trash is another's treasure"), and I wouldn't go for that. There are some real quick several-second scenes I liked for their ropework, use in the story, etc, but others might complain that they were too short or not that great. Other times, I liked some scenes for their aesthetic value, but they may have contained zero struggling.
I saw star ratings can't possibly work since opinion is so varied.
And personally, how someone is tied is very important to me - "tied and cleave-gagged with a white bandanna" isn't as important as "tied hands behind at the wrists, crossed, and cleave-gagged". I'm more about ropework. Best to have the best of both worlds when possible - let "tied snobs" know what the ropework is, let "gag snobs" know what the gagwork is. The people who write the entries should have a reminder to consider the widest possible audience when they write up their descriptions.

Okay, like everyone to go slow here.
Going to just use for examples, not singling anyone out.
Reason I've taken out personal opinions in the Description is to avoid fellas taking offence.

When fellas mention any scene that doesn't have a tape, or cloth gag isn't very good.
Or fellas feel girls should wear skirts, boys should wear pants and rate scenes according to that.

Of course, heard from the Handgag fans, and others about this.
So sort of decided fairest way for everyone would be to crack down on it.

Something for you to consider.
Brian put the effort into an Episode Title box for ease of posting.
However, if you check the most recent entries,
you'll notice a marked entry where the box was ignored.
This is common.

Now, that example is alittle different,
as Episode Titles is something we can search up. So if the fellas decide to keep this entry?
We have a possible Title.
In your case, if your boxes ignored?
We'd not be able to sort them as easily. So reluctant to have Brian work on something that won't be used.

Perhaps you may want to ask about your preferences of an entry here,
then relate any answers you get over on the Database Corrections page and we'll add them in?

I think I understand what you mean. Even if it was created as a new feature, many people who create entries would simply ignore it. The more work one has to do, even if it's only minor work, the less people will do it. Human nature.

Sharapova handgags self to celebrate Wimbledon win
Check out Maria Sharapova, who's giving herself a handgag to celebrate making the finals at Wimbledon. What a cutie! Kournikova class looks and topflight talent. I'm thinking the fake nudes of her having sex started flooding the Web, oh, about three hours ago.

It looks to me like she's kidnapping herself! Doubtless she'll spirit herself away to a dilapidated English farmhouse, tie herself to the bed, & have her way with herself. :-} Sorry... it's a slow day.

Remember, only EIGHT SHOPPING DAYS until Major Carter is captured & tortured by the Replicators! :-)

Right, no ratings or anything like that. Too subjective,
just causes arguments.

Let's work on fixing the DB search feature, then beefing
up the instructions, see how that goes.
