Friday June 04 00:08:34 2004 Re: Most effective gag? |
Given a couple of days I can probably come up with some mainstream examples. Until then, in the hopes it's on topic here (been around 2 years but still learning the rules...) I'll describe what I think would be an ideal gag...
Let me start by saying I prefer OTM/Detective gags. For me tape gags are too modern and cleaves don't look like they really muffle sound. Thus my design: 1.) Packing - I'm picturing something like a big Nerf Ball. Fills the mouth without being uncomfortable. 2.) Inner Cleave - something to hold the packing in. 3.) Outer OTM - Possibly tied to the the cleave if measured properly. Better still if the fabric leaves visible lip impressions. In an attempt to get this back to mainstream, has the media ever thought it out this much? Imagine a film in which the abductor takes a tape measure to a damsels outer and inner lips. :) |

Friday June 04 01:10:28 2004 Missed Opportunity - Gretchen Corbett (Rockford Files) |
Since I'm a huge Rockford fan, I always thought it was a crying shame that the very cute Gretchen Corbett never got the full treatment. Her lips always cried for a tape gag. I'm surprised Stephen Cannell never provided such a grand opportunity.
Now, again, on the subject of "Terror Among Us"...just kidding! |

Another example is Teri Columbino's infamous "we were on the floor bound and gagged" interview when in fact she was just bound in the stalker storyline from a few years ago on "As the World Turns." |

And remember the famous "I can really see how being bound & gagged for a time can wear on someone" (sic) from Cheryl Ladd on her very lame bondage scene (no gag, natch) on "A Death in California" (was that the title?). ---- A gag could very well have been in the original script, since my recollection of the book it's based on is that Hope was bound, gagged, and blindfolded by the killer, and told to lie still. And if my memory holds, he shortly took off her blindfold & gag, then made a lewd proposition (one that couldn't be aired 20 years ago on primetime network TV). But the TV-movie adaptation was perhaps more effective (not to mention not having "dead time" where no action/advancement of the stroyline is happening onscreen) in seguing immediately to Hope pleading after the rape for him not to kill her -- not for her life but because the children would be left without either parent. |

Friday June 04 08:27:12 2004 Basta't Kasama Kita |
In my enthusiasm for finally snagging an Ana de la Reguera scene, I nearly forgot that I've finally snagged a scene involving Judy Ann Santos who plays the lead female cop on the cop-soap show from the Philippines "Basta't Kasama Kita". She was snatched from her squad car (offscreen) and was tied up in a cave, arms spread and tied overhead. Apparently she's being held hostage by revolutionaries though I don't know Tagalog at all so I'm not completely sure what is going on. Unfortunately there has been male interference though it's been easy to focus on her.
I record that one at work so I won't know what happened on last night's show until later today. Basta't Kasama Kita International Channel Mon-Fri 7 PM |

I live in Ontario and will be keeping an eye on ATWT for anyone who can't contact me at y2jericholic9@yahoo.com. My home computer isn't working right now, so I will have to reply Monday or Tuesday.
I have found my copy of Wildcard and will try to get a copy of that online as well in the next couple of weeks as I have yet to find a site where I can play the clip. |

I've also updated my website for June. You will find the winner of the June classic vidcap survey. There's also vidcaps with Jessica Alba from Dark Angel, and a double set of 'caps from the movies Tarzan's Peril, and Introducing Dorothy Danridge (both involve a jungle queen in bondage). There's also a large update of bondage scans featuring Lara Croft: Bound Tomb Raider, and a new vidcap survey.
Enjoy! |

This at least looks promising. Also, on the "Young and the Restless" some ex-con is breaking free next week. Don't know anything about this storyline or if any females crossed him in the past. |
