Monday July 26 01:57:23 2004 Foyle's War... :-( |
No joy with respect to "Foyle's War", Series 2, Episode 2 ("Among the Few"). Sam (Honeysuckle Wells, looking suitably cute in her fuel driver coveralls & cap with her hair braided back) does a classic Nancy Drew skulk of the fuel depot office (after everyone has left for the day), hears someone coming, hides under the desk, the bomb is planted, & she gets locked in. She finds the bomb, pounds on the door & window ("Hello? I'm locked in! Help!!!"), then telephones for Police HQ for help. Help arrives & all is well. No bondage whatsoever, but it *did* have a delicious Classic British Melodrama flavor. :-)
By the by... being a proper young lady, whether in her Driver's khaki uniform *or* while undercover in coveralls, Sam regularly stands at polite attention with her wrists crossed behind her back (the little tease!) Where are the Nazi spies or Black Market Racketeers when you really need them??? (Actually, several racketeers got arrested in this episode.) :-) |

No joy in the first series of this well-received show, but a second series is due to air in the UK ere long. We can hope...
Honeysuckle Weeks, who came to prominence as a superb child actress, has at least one equally cute sister, whose name I can't remember. |

Monday July 26 04:31:05 2004 Show: DID- Editing/Revising Director? Any Input Appreciated |
Determined on this now.
Caught the "government sponsored" credit, all. Start off, show starts off girl tied to rail track. Fella comes to the rescue, diverting oncoming train to another track. (Editor?) (Director?) pencil appears and erases the girl.. Yeah, you just know what coming up huh? |

> (Editor?) (Director?) pencil appears and erases the > girl.. > you just know what coming up huh? Arrggh! It late! Right, continuing on: so as expected, pencil switches rail back with another train coming. Nails poor fella on the track. Fella then starts cross country trek to appears Vancouver? With his buddy, a moose? Reaching there, enters cabin and our girl there now tied to a chair. Editor-Pencil shows back up, draws a goon whom pounds the fella. The moose then joins the scrap, flattening the goon. Fella unties the girl. Again, just know what going to happen huh? Correct, girl passes fella by, fancies the moose. It a quick one, no mention of it in the guide. (Zinger: It the Rogers cartoon channel #45). Determined to catch this for abit of humour for the collectors. Hoping someone aware of title? Thanx |

Monday July 26 08:03:22 2004 DiD ID |
Did anyone catch the names of the actresses playing the DiD's in "MISSING" and "The Dead Zone"? The end credits on "The Dead Zone" were so tiny I couldn't read 'em and I missed "MISSING"'s end credits entirely. Thanks. |

Monday July 26 08:21:21 2004 Bound and gagged house maid |
About a week ago I was at a friends house. We were channel surfing and came across a comedy show on Telemundo. Just my luck it featured a sexy house maid who was bound and gagged to a chair by two bratty rich kids. The dad, I think, I don't speak spanish, comes in and runs the boys off. He then says something in spanish. It was then my friend began channel surfing again. How I wish I had been at home to record this as she was really hot.
Did by chance anyone catch this show? |

They really hit a homerun with that episode. I hope a sign of things to come. The lady had a nice tight cleave gag, just the way I like 'em. To discribe the scene, she was in a damp cellar, bound, hands behind her back to a wooden chair. White cloth cleave pulled tighly. Couldnt tell if her feet were tied tho. |

Monday July 26 11:04:41 2004 SF bondage materials |
I’m writing an essay on new tech used for bondage in science fiction stories. The general theme of it is that movies and SF have done very little with it, compared to the possibilities demonstrated by bondage writers on the Web.
To that end, I’m trying to think of all the new tech bondage from mainstream tv and movies, and I KNOW the crew here can help me out on this point. So I’d like to ask what scenes you’ve seen using new tech for bondage. I’d include putzes in the list because there’s no reason such techniques can’t be used on women, too..Here’s what I’ve come up with: 1) The bondage slabs prisoners are fastened to in Tales of a Parallel Universe. They serve as a means of transport for the prisoners and also of execution, as knives come out of the slabs and harvest their organs if they are found guilty. In the main character’s case, it serves as a bed/restraint for some nonconsensual plastic surgery/brainwashing as she is sentenced to become a sex slave. 1a) A similar slab was used for execution in a SciFi Channel movie. Unfortunately, the victims were elderly. 2) The transparent gel in “Demolition Man” that keep Stallone and the bad guy on ice for decades. Very much like stuff I’ve read about in bondage fiction, except the bondage stuff doesn’t generally induce hibernation. 3) The handcuff gun in the Canadian Nebula Rangers series (thanks JayL). Fires a set of handcuffs which secure the victim’s arms. 4) The massive stocks in “Star Slammer” 5) The massive stocks in the “Slave Warrior Maya” ep of Cool Devices 6) The beam cage that ObiWan Kenobi is imprisoned in in “Attack of the Clones” 7) The exploding collar worn by Mimi Rogers and others in Deadlock (aka Wedlock) I’m sure there are others, I’m just not remembering them just now. But I bet you guys will remember them. Also, any cool bondage devices or other tech from written SF will also be appreciated. Also, begging Brian’s indulgence, I’m also looking for high-tech bondage devices and tech from bondage sites on the Web, like the tickling robot in Damsels Under Glass or the memory metal in my Slave Gaia story or all those Poser images. Please email those to me as they are not appropriate for Brian’s Page. |

More notes on that: lots of closeups, and, unlike the usual TV script trend (damsel must be rescued in last 10 minutes only) The bondage scenes in this one were spread through out the first 40 minutes of the episode- a long time, if you add all the scenes together. I didn't get the damsel's name, sorry- the episode title is LOOKING GLASS. Why didn't anyone add this to the scene database (I just did, but had to leave the damsel area blank). Why isn't anyone updating the VCR alerts page anymore? The canadians are on the ball, but the Americans are way behind! I'll add a few, but I don't know them all. For instance, today is BELLY OF THE BEAST (3pm USA, also NOT IN THE DATABASE!) -val |

I read a little background material and discovered that Sam is actually Welsh, born in Cardiff. She has acquired a south-east English accent over the years, though. New series is in production, should appear early next year. |

I believe the name of the DEAD ZONE character was "Fernanda". None of the posts about it have mentioned it, but she is brutally stabbed to death. |

Short show called "Doodlez", by Gretha Rose & Sean Scott There a number of them, if you go looking for a media file. No luck yet myself. Canucks & Northern Yanks: Realise catching this as much a bugger as commercials. Pain in the arse Figure send to Raffish, or one of the fellas for caps. Save you effort of tape/scanning Rogers cartoon channel for it. |

A reminder for all, we prefer to have all entries in a standard format for searching. This includes episode information like: "The Looking Glass" (3.7) Also, it's a good idea to get the exact title from the IMDB. |

Monday July 26 22:14:33 2004 To Serve and Protect |
I just put in an alert for this film tomorrow at 8 pm on the LMN. As it's in the database someone has clearly seen this scene, the problme is the scene as described could have occurred anywhere in the movie. It's a long movie, some 3 1/2 hours long. Does anyone know approximately where in this long movie the scene occurs? I'm not asking for exact times just approximate times, like early, middle or late. Any info. would be helpful to us all. |
