Thanks to all those who replied to my request. I'm going to try some of the suggestions and see which ones work best for me. Again thanks to all.

Not really. However, I did notice that on August 17, After Hours (Linda Fiorentino) and The Guyver (Vivian Wu) were to be released on DVD.

I am surprised nobody mentioned it coming out on DVD, but personally, I've never been all that impressed by that scene. My own opinion is that it's overrated.
The bondage was okay, but was still just a simple hogtie and cleave gag. It does get some extra points for the wad of mouth packing tho, I'll grant it that.

Of course, thats just my opinion. Im sure some of my favorite scenes wouldn't make other people's own top ten lists.

Think about it. The movie has been overexposed to everyone here. Are you really surprised by people's reaction?
BTW-Looking forward to your upcoming site.

Two easy ways around this one. One is a program called Private Bookmarks. It works extremely well, but it costs 30 bucks.

The other is to add Mozilla browser and use it. It's free, far superior to IE in most aspects, and it has password protection for your profile information, which includes your bookmarks.

Re: Blockbuster Monopoly
>>>>>Walmart sells DVDs and video games for a
percentage less than they buy them for.... Blockbuster sells new retail for one dollar more than what we buy it for<<<<

I was speaking of the rental fees. In my area, before Blockbuster ran off the competition, new releases were priced $2.50 to $3.00. Better still, most stores had a "2 for 1" day or "5 for $10" special that included new releases. Therefore, I could rent just about every new release within a week or two and scan it for DiD scenes without it costing me a fortune.

Blockbuster ended all of that. They set the price for new releases at $4.25 per day and until recently, they NEVER ran any special discounts on new releases. Once they drove the smaller guys out of business, alas, my days of mass renting went the way of the dinosaur.

Old Intel Advertising Brochure
I thought this was cute; its an article from an old 1990 copy of PC Week that I came across:

Spencer has a bone to pick with Intel. He has just seen an Intel brochure advertising its "new, improved" 387 math coprocessors, which states, "Our entire Math CoProcessor public relations department promises to keep quiet until you've had a chance to evaluate Intel's new, improved 387 Math CoProcessors."

Flip open the brochure and you'll find a blonde sitting on a wooden stool, with her hands bound together with a phone cord and her mouth taped shut with masking tape.

The inside caption: "Be quick. She's dying to talk to you about it."

The real killer, noted Spencer, is that Intel actually published this poor woman's name -- Kristin Bailey -- and her phone number.

Since Anabella Sciorra complained bitterly about being tied up for hours during this film, hopefully some of those hours will be included as extras on the DVD, along with commentary.

Old-timers here may remember the "bondage wrangler" who claimed he was hired just to tie her up for this movie. Maybe the possible commentary will talk about this.

Re: Upcoming DVD release/Whispers In The Dark
I always thought that that was one of the most plausible, and well done scenes in a long time:

1. Efffective restrainants
2. Effective gag
3. Materials used are very plausible, typical of what is probably in almost every home
4. Attractive DID who does a very good job of looking scared, mad, and uncomfortable
5. Attire that was entirely appropriate for the character, business suit, pantihose, low heels, not a micro mini with nylons/garter belt, and 6 inch platform strappy sandals

Overall a situation that could happen in real life.

That's my opinion, hence my "not really" comment.
For me, the actress is the primary ingredient in a DiD scene.
I think the bondage itself is good (hogtie and cleave with packing), but I don't care at all for Sciorria. I don't find her attractive, and she was too passive in the scene.

Sunday Chicago Tribune Magazine
The back cover of today's Chicago Tribune Magazine has an interesting advertisement for Hermes scarves, featuring silk between the teeth of two attractive models.

I just made up a simple webpage with all my favorite links and posted it to a free geocities site - just go there first and there's your 'bookmark's leaving a spotless computer.

Never thought of this as being on-topic, but while all the above suggestions are good it doesn't address the fact that most all browsers keep a history of where you've been along with the temporary files while there. I assume those concerned with this is using an internet-cleaning program or manually going in to clear the history/cache/cookies after every session. Just my two cents worth...

Scene ID?
1. Two or three ladies (and a few putz) all strapped in standing positions. One scene shows a bunch of them overlapping each other ala picture-in-picture style.

2. Asian couple being burglarized, the lady is very vocal with her screams that while she's being bound one of the guys says to shut her up before she gets a duct tape gag.

Avengers Scene ID?
1. She's laying on her back slowly being crushed. He arrives later via a chute in the floor with an old man, initially he turns a black dial resulting in a smile (?) in her face before adjusting another knob that raises the crushing device off her.

2. She's strapped down at ankles, knees, waist, wrists on a table with hydrolics underneath with a wad of cloth in her mouth as a gag.

Brief Doherty Scare Tactics Scene
There was a quick handgag on tonight's Scare Tactics about five minutes ago on SciFi Channel; Shannen Doherty walked outside on a cell phone like in "Scream" when this guy came up behind her and hand-gagged her. She gave a nice "mmph," reminiscent of her chloroform scene on "Charmed." I was hoping it might lead to her being discovered bound and gagged but no such luck. Still, nice little surprise.

Season Four, Episode: "A Surfeit of H2O"
"Steed plans a boat trip - Emma gets very wet"
The Diabolical Device Emma's strapped in is a precision wine press, by the way.

Season Four, Episode: "The Hour That Never Was"
"Steed has to face the music - Emma disappears"
Emma's strapped to a dentists chair.
