Wednesday September 29 00:00:24 2004 Goofs in DID scenes |
Here's a note of DID scene from Natasha Henstridge in "Caracara" with an interesting description of goof for this movie:
"When Rachel is kidnapped and bound by the bad guys we see some close-up shots of her face while gagged and in one of them her hair is different." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0190290/goofs |

As for the clip, somebody else will have to oblige. Beg G-MaN... he loves requests. Hehehehehe!! The scenes were actually a lot better than I expected, with a lot of good mmphing as well. I'm not usually an OTM guy these days, but the woman was very attractive and looked quite nice in all the shots. The preview for the next show did show a woman shackled. This series seems to be cranking out some good stuff. Hope it sticks around awhile. |

Next week's TV Guide says: "The team investigates the discovery of a semi-mummified woman chained on (sic) an underground room at an abandoned military base and deduces that the perpetrator is probably repeating his crime with another victim." Possibilities abound, though I'll guess Ms. Mummy is DOA. |

The preview showed a shackled mummy, then later showed a live brunette DiD shackeled at the wrists so there will definitely be something worth watching next week. |

It's probably just luck, but this series, which has had several scenes (not all female) has seemed to avoid any gray duct tape gags... thank god. |

She appeared helpless. However, I just don't buy into those OTM gags. They look good. I enjoy them. But they don't silence a DID the way she pretended to be silenced. I'm not complaining - much. |

Both Cleaves and OTMs look great, but without packing both are more for show than anything else. A cleave can be fairly effective if tied extremely tight, the kind that is so tight that it actually pulls the lips shut. A knotted cleave can be effective and visually appealing. JMHO AAYMMV |

I can easily envision the live brunette being gagged with the bandages with which she'll be eventually mummified. She may protest her fate, trying to dissuade her captor from mummifying her, and he may gag her by wrapping the bandages around her mouth first. |

Wednesday September 29 14:15:14 2004 More Stern Fun |
Adult film star Jesse Jane appeared on Stern's radio program this morning, and - predictably - wound up strapped to his tickle chair. I can guarantee this will end up on E! at some point in the next 7 days.
FWIW, she got into a school girl outfit before being subjected to the torment. |

Wednesday September 29 15:25:28 2004 Def Jam: Fight for NY scene |
It was mentioned before that the game Def Jam: Fight for NY (developed by AKI, makers of the N64's best wrestling games), has a bondage scene involving your girlfriend character. The scene is said to play out the same but feature a different woman depending on who you choose as your girlfriend earlier in the game. Here are some pics, originally posted on the AVGDID Board.
Too bad the bonds themselves aren't visible. Rendering actual rope in 3D is something I've rarely seen (though it is at least done in the XBox's Grabbed by the Ghoulies). |

Wednesday September 29 19:15:02 2004 Mainstream bondage survey |
> I've been trying to think of what are the DiD scenes that are best in mainstream, to mainstream people. Not
people who really love DiD scenes, but just average moviegoers who'd recognize a key scene from a movie or literature or what-have-you, but average moviegoers. ---- For Shakespearians: The "Taming of the Shrew" opening scene with Bianca (wrists bound behind) being dominated by sister Katherine. Poetry: "The Highwayman", with ill-fated heroine Bess b&g'd to a post by the soldiers. Science-fiction: "Dune" (book + movie adaptations) w/ Lady Jessica firmly gagged to prevent her from unleashing Bene Gesserit "Voice" on the evil Baron Harkonnen and Piter de Vries. |

Wednesday September 29 19:26:22 2004 Can anyone identify this scene? |
I recall watching part of a movie during my childhood that featured an intriguing bondage scene featuring a good-looking brunette and two putzes. I watched this movie over thirty years ago, sometime during the Seventies. The movie was obviously made during the Sixites, since the actress who was bound and gagged wore a hairstyle from that time.
Anyway, in the part of the movie I saw, there were four people in a room, three men and a woman, a good-looking brunette in an orange minidress. One of the men, the villain, somehow wrested control of a gun and held it on the other three occupants of the room. The subsequent scene showed them all tied up and gagged with white tape. He placed them all on a bed, and picked up the gorgeous brunette to place her between the two men, one of them old and the other young. Does this scene evoke any recollections among any of the readers of this page? |

"Mummy" is not quite the correct term, as the first victim is not wrapped in bandages or anything else, but is wearing a wedding gown. A better term would be "dessicated". The second victim looked like it could be Agent Todd. Anybody else have an opinion on that? |

The live brunette did bear a strong resemblance to one of the regular actresses on the show. The question is, how did she manage to become embroiled in such a situation? Did she go undercover as the villain's girlfriend? An even better question is: who cares how she became embroiled in a bondage situation, let's just relish our good luck! |

I consulted the voluminous Scene Database, and read the description of the scene, and it very closely matched my recollection. Apparently, my memory is not infallible, because the Database Entry states that the damsel is wearing a dark blouse and white capri pants, whereas I remembered her wearing an orange minidress. The description of what transpires in the scene sounds very much like what I remember seeing on the television. The memories and knowledge of the readers of this page never ceases to astound me. May I ask how you were able to recall this obscure movie, Paolo? Was the actress famous at one time? |

Got this description of the recent 'Emmerdale' scene from a chum in the UK who taped it for me and is forwarding - sounds like a good scene, although the DiD has a few miles on her (see the link address below)
Emmerdale: Actress Carolyn Pickles "The Emmerdale scene was much better than I imagined. The tape was removed for some taunting and then replaced when the door bell rang. Then some good heavy breathing and moaning behind the gag before she managed to tip the chair over she was tied in. Following that some good close ups of her working herself free from the ropes and taking off the gag. She was recaptured and then seemed to meet a nasty end although none of this was shown". http://emmerdale.biz/emmerdale/profiles6/fatshelley.htm |

I have problems with the notion that your average mainstream moviegoer would remember any Shakespeare outside of a few lines from "Romeo and Juliet" or "Julius Caesar." Poetry, even more so -- hell, even I hadn't heard about "The Highwayman" until I read about it on this board, and I've been known to read Eliot's The Wasteland just because I liked it. And because there were no cereal boxes around to read. As for SF, c'mon. Gor, Gor, Gor, Gor, Gor, Gor. Sure, John Norman don't get much in the way of props from his SF homies, but damsel in distress is HIS turf, man! He may not have his propers, but he's got that bit of street locked up. |
