crossing jordan and vegas
Jill Hennessy is going to do a two-part crossover with Vegas and Crossing Jordan Nov 6 and 7. Apparently she will go undercover with Jake Duhammel and play strip poker. Hopefully at this point her cover will be blown.

[Want to help you out so Inserting]:
"I wish to see if anyone thinks the new Canadian soap Metropia will produce us scenes?"

Yes, there is somebody. Goes by Frankie. Don't have his email address.

To answer (won't say your's) question:
Looking good.
Omni group wants Metropia to be racey, and edgy, but apparently is more consevative than some of Canwest & CITY group. No frontal nudity for OMNI.
So how else they going to spice up the hopping into bed with one another?
Can see it coming.

Third Watch
I have put a few caps of tonight's scene up for those that may not get the show. Those who hate silver tape gags can save themselves the trouble. :d

Young Wong Fei Hung on International Channel
Does anyone of you know at least the actor's name of this show? There are so many Wong Fei Hung-movies and -series around that I'm not able to get further information on this show! Perhaps at least the damsel in European riding-dress could be one of the main cast?!

Speaking for myself, it's not the tape I hate, it's the loose application OF THE TAPE. Tonight's 3rd Watch was a prime example. If the damsel had turned her head to one side, the damn tape would have fallen off.

A total waste of time, damsel, and tape if you ask me.

Scene ID's?
1. Appears to be from the 70's. Lady is cleave gagged with a white cloth with a black sleeping blindfold. She's laying in the back of a van, later carried inside with wrists bound behind.

2. Cleave gagged, wrists behind, ankles bound, and barefoot. Transported via a blue van to an old building that used to be a nursing home (carried over-the-shoulder). Is found under a white sheet at the end.

3. Kidnapped in a park in the evening. Gagged, blindfolded, bound with duct tape in a park and taken to the guys house for the night. The next morning she's pushed out of his yellow truck and leaves her laying on the side of a dirt road.

syndicated shows???
its seems that a few years ago Saturday and the weekend in general was always AWASH with possibilities

Lost World, Xena, Hercules, Andromeda, Queen of swords, Relic hunter, Mutant X and so on..

does anyone know where I can go to find out what new Syndicated action adventure shows (if any) came out new this year?
and also which ones got cancelled...

I seem to recal one site in particular but I can't find its address anywhere...

it had sci fi and adventure shows and listed their "status"
any help would be appreciated

I hope this isn't TOO off-topic...
...but I wanted if at all possible to save any of you still using VCRs-probably the majority of us from what I've read here-from the fate I suffered this past week, namely, finally getting a chance to grab a copy of Kate Elliott's work in "No One Can Hear You" (we ought to give an award to whomever dreamed up that title!) only to end up with an unusable copy.

My recording was shot through with dancing multicolored bars and what appeared to be a ghost of the video previously recorded on the tape. Running a head cleaning tape didn't help, raising fears that the VCR-which I'd specifically bought because it was capable of tuning my satellite receiver, meaning I'd HAVE to fix it regardless of cost, since as far as I know, no current ones can do this-would need its heads replaced, or some other prohibitively expensive and time-consuming procedure.

And so I did what any red-blooded American circa A. D. 2004 would do in such desperate straits-I hit Google and quickly learned from perusing the results that what was wrong was that the VCR's erase head wasn't working; the $64 question was why. If I was lucky, something mechanical was keeping the tape from making contact with it as it passed over; if not something was wrong electronically with the circuit, and it would be time to check the balances on the credit cards.

Well, I figured pulling the top of the case and checking wouldn't hurt-and I was right. The erase head was loaded with an incredible amount of crud, which a few minutes with a carefully wielded alcohol-soaked cotton swab dispatched with ease. Top back on, multicolored demons exorcised, and TV listings now being earnestly scanned for the next "No One Can Hear You" broadcast. You won't get away THIS time, Kate!

Just in case any of you should run across this problem, or want to do some preventive maintenance to avoid it, the erase head will be the first one in the tape path-the one closest to the left reel in the cassette. From what I've read, machines with "flying erase heads" incorporated into the drum with the main video heads should never have this trouble, but most VCRs made in recent years-like mine-don't have this feature.

By the way, how many of you are using DVD burners for your collecting now? What do you think of them? It's getting to be about time to go sit on Santa's lap; should I ask him for one? I'm getting a little tired of begging for a new Corvette every year, only to rush to the tree on Christmas morning and...

King Kong Kibble!
...as in Tidbit, as in Scooby Snack, as in Tossed Treat:

The Kong-is-King website (the best source of Peter-Jackson-Kong News I can find (Where the hell is the Official Web Site???)) says shooting has begun on the Skull Island set. So far, it's pre-kidnapping of Ann (Naomi Watts) stuff, but I'll let you know when they report anything interesting... like if & how the natives hand-gag &/or restrain Ann while they get her off the ship & how they prepare her for her blind date with The Big Guy.

Oh, one *tiny* "treat": A photo of a real part of the set (meaning a part *not* CGI) shows a section of wall with a colossal statue of a skeleton (a dead native, I assume), & it's bound with stone rope. So, if the ancestors used bondage in their architectural decor, *surely* their progeny will use bondage on Ann! :-)
