Monday November 22 00:52:33 2004 HGTV |
There was a very brief scene on the show Designed to Sell. During part of the work, the female homeowner was wrapped up in blue painter's tape, and the host put a piece over her mouth. Unfortunately, it was in fast motion camera, and shot from pretty far away.
She is an average-looking Hispanic woman. It would have been much better had the "victim" been designer Lisa LaPorta. |

Hey Paige, if you're going to force him to watch that, least give him more information for your northern neighbours so we can avoid other episodes, if possible? These a staple Life & Women'sTV channels here. Btw: Blue? They don't just have blue on those shows. Perhaps "Ocean Aqua"? |

Record number: 6008 Title: Between The Lies (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Melissa Williams Description: US "R" Rated TVM. Ms. Williams plays Desi, the dark haired wife of the PI "hero". During the last ten minutes or so she is held captive in her own home by a gloating blonde villainess. She is bound to a chair and cleave gagged with a black scarf. The scene is about five minutes long. A well-lit scene with excellent head shots. |

Seems to be from the music video by Bowling for Soup, available at the link provided. Not the same performers, though, I don't think. You can keep your Rachel Hunters and Angie Everhearts and even, God bless her, your Natasha Henstridge, btw. Personally, I thank the island tiki gods for casting Nicole Eggert, height be damned. |

I remember on the back of either Rick James "Super Freak" album or Donna Summers "Bad Girls" album that a cop is shown leading two prostitutes with their hands cuffed behind their back. The photo was either on the back or the inside of the album. Does anyone else remember this? |

Monday November 22 15:07:26 2004 West Wing and Law And Order |
A season or two ago, the West Wing ended with the President's daughter being kidnapped. Nothing was shown on the season ending episodes. I lost track and interest over the summer, and it compleated slipped my mind. Now I am wondering if anything ever came of this. Did we ever get to see the daughter in any type of restraint? SHould I start looking for the re-runs in syndication?
Also, I seem to recall an episode on LAW AND ORDER (at leasty I think it was LAW AND ORDER) that started with a short scene of an older lady tied to a bed. She was bound and gagged by her boyfriend and partner in a high school prostitution ring. She thought it was part of a sex game with him, but it turned out her partner was using her to satisfy a request from a client. Does this sound familur to anyone? I haven't been able to find any information on it. |

UK, ITV 1 Several good wrapped-over-hair tape gag and extreme peril scenes for Sunita (Shobna Gulati) over two eps on Wednesday , 7.30 and 10 pm. Jealous loopy rival in love burns down shop with Sunita (who also has a brain tumour) and husband Dev inside. Outcome unknown.... Sunita's hardly the most beautiful lady in the Street, (well, good figure and nice big eyes), but a very likeable character who doesn't deserve this. Could be a classic. We're having fun fantasising about unlikely developments from this scene in the forum at Rob's Damsels. Follow link from Friends' Pages. |

Monday November 22 18:52:09 2004 Forgotten musical gems |
Please tell me i'm not making these two up.
1. Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night album includes a track "Everywhere" which i'm sure was released as a single - this is 1987/88 I believe. I can distinctly remember the music video for this one was based on the poem 'The Highwayman' and saw one of the girls (Not Stevie Nicks the other one) tied to the post at the foot of her bed in a period dress. 2. The Baron Knights - a comedy pop band who were big in the 1980s had a one off xmas special on Channel 4 around 1984-85. They performed a song 'The Swindon Cowboys Club' the music video to which saw them kidnap a mini-skirted blonde barmaid and tie her to the railway track though i'm fairly sure it was only a model train |

Monday November 22 19:24:01 2004 Heart of the Storm-a Lifetime Original |
Hey Everyone,
I just happen to catch a commercial for a new Lifetime Orignal Movie that might have something to our interest. The movie is called "Heart of the Storm". The plot is that 3 convicts escape during a raging hurricane. They invade and take over a single mom's house. The previews already show the convict binding up the hostages hands behind their back. I don't know if the mom has any cutie teenage daughters. Just check it shall we? Tonight at 9 ET/8CT |

Personally, I thank the island tiki gods for casting Nicole Eggert, height be damned. ---- Yes, the TV commercial's "Ginger" was neither Rachel Hunter nor Nicole Eggert. Supposedly, physical resemblance was only one of the casting criteria. E.g., while Angie Everhart is a tall and (natural) redhead, I wouldn't cast her as one of the Gingers because she's known for her athleticism -- no doubt one reason she's often cast as the action heroine in her B-movies and TV series (fortunately, like auburn-haired Diana Rigg, this has Increased rather than decreased the need for villains to place her into B&g restraint). In a cross-section of 7 average men & women, there'd be a strong likelihood that Angie would be the best athlete, which sort of goes against what viewers would expect from a "Ginger". Ginger was also noted for a "princess" personality-type. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make the personal acquaintance of either Rachel Hunter or Nicole Eggert, but it's public record that Rachel is now on her her 3rd or 4th hookup w/ a rock star. |

I am now watching this made for TV Original from one the most profilic (and most ironic) suppliers of scenes-Lifetime. This is what we have right now. The heroine has two cute teenage daughters and an estranged husband. This means should there be a scene then we will probably will NOT have any putzes. Great!!! Stay tuned tonight and check it out on Lifetime RIGHT NOW!!! |

Monday November 22 23:12:39 2004 "Heart of Storm" recap |
Well, the movie never really lived up to expectations. I know, I know, which one ever really does but anyways there was a short minor scene. The "mastermind" convict finally decides to flee the house and orders the other convict to tie up the mom and one of the cute daughters. The daughter is tied and there is a quick second scene of her bound hands behind her back as she running upstairs. No gag, not much else. |

Least Moxx of Balhoom knows "not making it up." Actual scene is: British soldiers invade the pub - girl is tied, hands behind to bedpost (4poster), cleave gagged with white scarf. Obviously based on poem 'The Highwayman' Actress: Brunette, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest it 'might' be Stevie Nicks made up... |
