Friday November 05 11:02:41 2004 Re: As The World Turns |
Late in the episode one of the gun-toting criminals
ordered Lucy to get some rope, extension cords, whatever. When we next see her, she's sitting on a bar stool with her arms behind her. We have to assume she's tied up. There are no visible ropes and no leg shots even though she is wearing a totally hot little pleated miniskirt. Instead of treating us to a great show of Peyton List's bonds, they showed several close-ups of her dad with his hands roped behind his back as he worked to loosen a knot. It looked like his hands were free as the show ended. Previews for Friday did not show Lucy but did show the boxing match (central point of this whole scene) so it's safe to assume that she'll be on. Let's hope they show some closeups of Lucy's bound wrists and hopefully bound legs tomorrow. Let's get some caps of this one if something comes through, also, would someone tape this please? That is if some bonds are shown, etc. I would like to see this. I will not be able to catch this episode because i have to work :( |

Friday November 05 12:00:23 2004 Handgags |
For those who like hadgags, what would you say would be the best handgag scene you ever seen? To me the handgag is essential to the beginning of a bondage scene. |

ME wrote:

I am a fan of handgags, even when they do not lead to full bondage, but only when done a certain way. For instance, I do not like it when the bad guy is in front of the girl. They need to surprise her from behind or from the side and clamp their hand very tightly over her mouth. Some mmmphing is also welcome and the scene should be well lit, close up and lengthy. A frightened look on the girl's face is also essential in my book. Favourites that come to mind are: 1. Elisabeth Sladen in Dr Who, Seeds of Doom (TV) - See below 2. Debra Winger in Mike's Murder (Film) 3. August West in Midnight Fear (Film) If anybody knows a lot of handgag scenes but have not bothered to put them in the database as they do not regard them as full bondage, I would appreciate you adding them (if this is O.K with the Moderator) as I am always on the lookout for TV shows, Films and Videos that contain such scenes. Thanks. |

I only like handgags when they lead to real gags. An underrated gem is Claire Yarlett's scene in "Robin's Hoods." She gets handgagged hard (while wearing a great outfit of orange sweater, white pants with white boots) and thrown into a closet, where she's tape-tied and cleave-gagged. Very nice scene. |
Friday November 05 14:24:11 2004 Third Watch |
I saw a preview for NBC's "Third Watch" tonight and it showed what looked like a female hispanic woman being led with her arms behind her like she was handcuffed. I don't watch the show but it's implied that she's one of the cops and has to go to a woman's prison. I'm assuming she's going undercover. |

Friday November 05 14:45:00 2004 Melrose |
I noticed that Melrose Place is airing daily on SoapNet. Has anyone been following it with any ideas when upcoming scenes may be coming our way?? Has anything bound-and-gagged-worthy popped up yet? I had no idea it was in syndication. |

My current favorite handgag scene is MÄDCHEN AMICK in "Hangman". Even though it doesn't directly lead to bondage... it's delish!!! :-) |

The aforementioned Midnight Fear is a great one, with the heroine being dragged around from room to room in an extended scene. But the greatest, IMHO, is Experiment in Terror with Lee Remick. The villian talks to her threateningly during the handgag for at least two minutes (maybe there's a little scene creep there) while Lee looks gorgeously helpless. |
Friday November 05 15:15:21 2004 "ATWT" |
Scene (if you can call it that) over early on Friday. Lucy's bound hands were never shown. There's no way Peyton List was tied up during this scene. This was all fake. At least we got the scene from a couple months ago when he hands were taped tied behind her back and she yells out "Owww. that's too tight!" |

I've never actually timed it, but two minutes seems reasonable. It's a really strong handgag, with facial distortion emphasised by the noir lighting, stifled mmmphing and slow, sibilant restricted breathing. The real McCoy, indeed. And the villain's asthmatic whisper is one of the most menacing voices in the history of cinema. Director? Blake "Pink Panther" Edwards, of all people! |

Friday November 05 18:21:32 2004 regis and Kelly |
As I was on my way out of the door this morning I had Regis and Kelly on. Was not really watching. Was scanning round stations while I waited for a cab.
Kelly was sitting with her hands behind her and looked happy but not comfortable. This continued for a longer period, till I had to leave. Was she tied, cuffed or just pretending? |

Friday November 05 18:46:19 2004 Atame |
I believe that the movie "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down" (1990) is also known as "Atame".
What does "Atame" translate to in English? |

Friday November 05 19:23:43 2004 Scene ID |
2 Questions,
I seem to recall something about Keri Russel getting tied up during a robbery in the show "Felicity". It's not in the db, nor in the episode guide I browsed through, so am I crazy or does this scene exist? Are these caps from "Beyond Fear"? Sounds like it, just not sure. Record number: 993 Title: Beyond Fear (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Gina McKee Description: As the captive of a Collector-type baddie who, unbeknownst to her, has killed his previous victim, she's shown in a series of scenes spanning the first half of the movie blindfolded and cleave-gagged with mouth packing, being placed into and removed from a large box in which she's secured with handcuffs locked to a metal bar above her, then later in a chair secured with a chain locked to another chain between shackles around her ankles. Thanks. |

Again, it doesn't lead to bondage, but it makes *my* list. Oh Sam, Sam, Sam... You're such a bondage tease!!! :-) |

While there's no such thing as a *bad* Sam Carter/Amanda Carter handgag, I've always thought the forced imbibing & handgag of "Devil You Know" lacks the jenny-say-kwah of the Crazy-Kowalski hand gag in "Enemy Within". I think it's the way Sam rolls her eyes. :-) |
