Tuesday November 09 00:01:08 2004 Prisionera Possiblity |
There's a double possibility for tomorrow's "Prisionera" (Telemundo 8pm).
I didn't catch the ending but Puncho was out looking for a woman (don't know the name), and a preview shows him finding her car than seeing her being escorted down the sidewalk by the neck by a henchman looking type. Cut to a scene of the two guys fighting in a warehouse. Nothing shown of the woman's situation at fight time, but I'm hoping for something along the lines of the "Starships" episode of Wonder Woman. Also today, I caught a scene with a woman disguised as an old lady sneaking her way thru a police roadblock. Tomorrow's preview shows a hot girl stumbling up to the lady's car window and not realizing who she's trying to hitch around with as the "old lady" gives a wickedly wide grin. Again nothing shown, but I'm hoping for something along the lines of the "Hot Wheels" episode of Wonder Woman. |

Does anyone know of any scenes in which women are leashed either on dog leashes or similarly lead by the neck?
I know there was one scene in the Uk series 'Doctor Who', in a story called 'Timelash' in which a female was lead around and attached to a pole with a metal rod and ring around her neck. |

UPN gave "Jake 2.0" a full-season commitment early last year, then pulled the plug after 13 episodes. They ended up filming 17 and four were never aired in the U.S. Also in a move only possible at FOX, the network appears to have canceled "Tru Calling" even before the second season debuts. Latest word is the show will air early in 2005, but production has been halted after the filming of 6 episodes. They had received a 13-episode commitment. No word on whether the 6 will actually air. |

---- Excluding sword-and-sandal productions, two that come to mind are Farrah Fawcett in "Extremities" (1986) and Sandahl Bergman in "Hell Comes to Frogtown" (1988). |

Appreciate all your help, Jay L. Since I'm relatively new here and I wouldn't like upsetting the moderator, would it be OK for me to post a "wanted" message on the trading forum? |

Tuesday November 09 07:58:04 2004 best tv shows never aired |
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I saw a show on VH-1 about tv shows that never made it. One was called 'Just Good Friends' starring Courtney Thorne-Smith. Anyway, they very quickly show her tied up (not gagged) with a couple of putzes--perhaps in the back of a truck or a boat. It is in the last part of the show, about shows that supposedly were actually good. |

It says: "Cena stars in the action flick as an injured Marine who returns from combat to find that his wife (Carlson) is being held hostage by a murderous diamond thief. The Marine must race against the clock to save her and, no doubt, beat the crap out of everybody in the process." |

His neighbourhood has some great video/DVD stores for Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Philippine Islander movies and TV shows. Possible may be able to get it for capping? And for any wives, if reading over the shoulder? Was able to pick one up a Hong Kong one there for capping that my VHS machine died on just before it aired, for a *deal*. Good *deals* there ladies. Have to fancy that huh? |

No word on whether the 6 will actually air. They seem to be going for the quick kill, the reality show that doesn't cost hardly anything to produce, but will gather enough ratings to make money on it out of the gate. These replace the lower-rated shows that don't make much money initially, but recover some more in syndication. This trend will continue until they finally run out of idiotic ideas for reality shows and people get tired of them. Then we'll be back for another cycle of dramatic shows, after which... Remember: Follow the money! |

There was some interest a while back to see some good scenes in the comic strip Apt. 3G. The following web site is on a one month delay and is now beginning to have those strips. http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/comics.htm |

Tuesday November 09 20:34:47 2004 Missing |
Did anyone watch the rerun episode of "Missing" this past Sunday eveing on Lifetime? This is the second consecutive episode in which a damsel has been gagged with a duct-tape cleave-gag on this show, and, I belive, the third time this season, and possibly the fourth time in the lifetime of the series.
Why do the producers of this show have a penchant gagging actresses in this manner? Are the episodes based on real crimes in which a female victim was gagged in this manner, or are they simply unaware of the fact that duct tape can be used to seal a damsel's mouth shut? |

No it can't ....unless wrapped entirely around the victim's head - the standard tape gag OTM scenario may be a personal preference of lots, but it's just as much an illusion for visual effect as the standard cleave gag (without packing) I think the director might be a little more clued in than the audience in this case. |

Tuesday November 09 22:12:44 2004 Veronica Mars...a real teaser tonight |
at about the 30' mark, she's snooping in a suspect's place (happens to be a neighbor)...using flashlight, finds gun in drawer...suspect is coming home unveknownst to her...door opens..cut to commercial. Do we dare...?
But it is the 30' mark. We KNOW nothing will happen. Come back from commercial. she's hiding in shower with a dog. Suspect calls for dog..he barks. Veronica comes out of hiding holding dog. Explains that she was studying next door and dog was barking so she came next door to check on him and door was unlocked...she leaves. No scene. So...any West Coasters, no need to fire up the VCR... |
