Regarding Hillside Strangler- have seen both versions. Only thing that appeared different was the hogtie scene. In the unrated it started with her feet and panned down rest of her body. The other bondage scenes appeared to be exactly the same in both versions. |

Ah, I see the problem. The way you had it phrased before made the time check seem like it was in reference to the actress. I suggest that when you mean minute, you say "minute". |

Monday November 15 01:30:59 2004 Tied & True Tales updated |
We’ve just shivered through enough rain to sink the Titanic during the last couple of weeks and the Yarra River is in full, roaring flood – an awesome sight! Between enjoying some great rainy day walks, I also managed to put together this update: Today, it’s Part Two of “Twosomes: tying and being tied up!” featuring yet more all girl action along with the hilarious “Life and Times of Mason!” exclusively presented by our resident roo, Priscilla along with another 9 new and/or updated stories, and an article on bondage/BDSM safety by Hans Meijer in Tielines for your reading pleasure in today’s update. |

The scene does occur in the film but it's more a case of the strippers sitting around each with one wrist handcuffed to the wall. You can barely see the cuffs and the DinD's look more bored than anything else. Too bad the producers didn't make the scene more like Rentadick's. |

Nothing for the stars with gags since Shannen left, except the quick spider web gag for Holly Marie last year. The show's numbers are down a little on Sunday, so maybe they sexy things up a bit in the second half of the year to avoid cancellation. |

I just checked the IMDb entry, and this is indeed the movie with the grisly bondage scene. I recognize the name of the male lead. |

In the rated version, as soon as the killers put a plastic bag over her head the scene changes to the dog barking outside, then goes back inside where the hooker is already dead. She's never shown being strangled with rope onscreen. The unrated version shows the entire muder sequence where shes choked with a rope with closeups of her gagged and blindfolded face as shes screaming. Its about 30 seconds longer. |

The web page seems to be atribute to one of the characters Meg Morris, played by Elspeth Ballantyne. Series ran for ages and had a number of very good scenes, some of which are documented in the DB. |

I can recall a few of these. In an early episode a mob witness is kidnapped and flees through the woods, hands tied behind her back, sticking plaster gag hanging from her mouth Vera 'Viniger t**s' Bennett tied to a chair and muffle gagged, she knocks the chair over to attract attention A female guard taped hand & foot & gagged in basement with bomb - good half episode at least- lots of struggling. Blink & miss it panning shot of unconcious female prison guard tied h&f with neck ties. Appreciate these may be in the DB and if i ever work out how to use it i'll be sure to check |

Monday November 15 19:51:38 2004 Hillside Strangler?? |
can someone clarify something for me? is this movie Hillside Strangler that is a topic right now one movie or 2 with the same title? seems like I read that there was a new movie out with that title (I assumed in theatres??), but then someone else said there was ANOTHER movie (on video) also called Hillside Strangler, and it sounds like both have tie-and-gag scenes. are we all talking about just one movie here or more than one called Hillside Strangler? many thanks, RR |

It stars C. Thomas Howell as one of the two cousins who collaborated on the murders. It is an excellent movie with an intelligent plot, and multiple delectable bondage scenes, with several actresses bound and gagged. Nearly all are gagged with duct tape, though I'm not certain that duct tape was as ubiquitous during the late Seventies as it is today. This may be a gaffe on the part of the movie production staff. The two cousins who comprised this murderous duo did indeed gag their victims with tape, but with what kind of tape? |

Monday November 15 21:07:41 2004 Hillside Strangler |
I watched this movie last night, and as I mentioned in a previous post, I noted that the murderous duo in the movie used gray duct tape to gag their victims. I wondered how realistic this is, since duct tape didn't become ubiquitous until a decade after the Hillside Strangler murders, which occurred during the late Seventies. I think that either white surgical or adhesive tape would've been more plausible as a gag, considering the time the killings occurred.
I believe duct tape was invented sometime during the Forties or Fifties, but didn't become inexpensive and readily available until the late Eighties. It began to be used by movie and television studios as a gag around this time, displacing the white surgical tape that had previously been used to silence damsels. I recall skimming through a book about the Hillside Strangler murders, and finding a section that described one of the crimes in vivid detail. The murderous cousins gagged one of their victims by stuffing a cloth in her mouth and wrapping tape completely around her head, but I believe it was packagaing tape of some kind, and not duct tape. |

Monday November 15 21:44:06 2004 Knotbusters is updated...FINALLY! |
I've had some delays in the real world which caused me to push back my monthly update of Knotbusters. However, we are updated now, with new 'caps of Head Of The Family, and from an episode of Captain Planet. The winner of the poll is also up, as well.
The update for December first will go as planned. |

19591 Kb of new stuff. Mainly a bunch of shorts (really) because of the damn 5mb limit for yahoo groups and I don't feel like sitting and re-encoding today. Just a wee bit tired, you see.
You might need an audio codec for Andromeda 2.09, but if you don't, no worries, you're not missing anything. If someone wants to add the entry for that episode (and whatever else I may of have missed), that would be cool. If you haven't seen 24 season 3 and intend to, don't watch the 24 cap. I can't beleive the star trek scene isn't in the db. Seriously, if I hadn't checked just now, I would of have never guessed. /grew up on sttng, 3 cheers for geeks. /shrug. Monday November 15 23:18:46 2004 New TBS Reality Series Features Hunter |
That's "Hunter, Rachel Hunter!" as "Ginger" in the new "Gilligan's Island" reality series. The Yahoo article said the contestants would be re-enacting parts of different episodes. The possibilities boggle the mind! "The Headhunter Episode" comes to mind first. |

The commericial featured some shots of a new Ginger and new Maryann (plus putzes) tied to posts just like in the Headhunter episode. No great closeups but you could tell the girls were tied up. The show premieres on the 30th on TBS. It looks to be one of those 'tape every week' kind of shows because it might never show up in reruns. |
Monday November 15 23:32:02 2004 Not for those on dialup. |
Doing the email distribution thingy again.
How it works. Email me by 11pm PST with your email address in your subject line, get the file of the day. I'll send you the file via email. Make sure; 1. Your mail server is ok with big files. Comcast chokes on attachments over 7mb although yahoo, gmail, etc work fine, go figure, the free services are better than the pay services. 2. Your mailbox has enough space. Yahoo is bumping people to 250, gmail is still at 1gb. More important for the folks who are using webmail. 3. Your client can handle the load. Outlook Express for windows 3.11 might work, but it probably won't. And no, this isn't for folks on dialup unless you like sitting for 30 minutes while it downloads a big attachment. You might get my email(s) with the cap at 11:05, it might be the next morning or afternoon, depends when I get around to it. If you want something that I e-mailed out in the past, don't be an ass, possibly send me something. I'm liable to send you a picture of a tiny violin if your request bugs me. If the file size is greater than 10mb, you'll get 2 emails, the file will be archived with winrar and broken into 2 pieces. Each piece, different email. Not terribly difficult. Right click, "extract here". Double click on the extracted file. 11 PM today X-Files - 2x06 - Ascension - Gillian Anderson 11pm Tues. Alias - 1x22 - Jennifer Garner Cuffed to Chair - Almost Thirty Years 11pm Wednesday, Alias - 2x09 - Passage, Part 2 - Jennifer Garner - Cuffs, leg irons in a cage - BPR-10860 11pm Thursday Sliders - 3x14 - Slide Like an Egyptian 11pm Friday Navy NCIS - 1x23 - Sasha Alexander - Reveille 11pm Saturday Alias - 1x06 - Reckoning - Jennifer Garner in Straitjacket 11pm Sunday Monk - 3x02 - Mr. Monk and the Panic Room - Bitty Schram - Handcuffed, behind back - BPR 10625 If you want to be put on the daily list, put "DAILY your@email.com" in the subject line.
