I can't help wonder why you take the opportunity to
bash somebody trying to do something nice for you.

Most shows do 22-24 episodes per year. Do the math.
This time of the year is a busy one for people, good
time for reruns.

Well sure, of course, but by wierd I meant not consistent the way it use to be. "Lost" was showing so many reruns right away I lost interest in the show. The holidays usually don't got to Jan 26th, or start Dec 1st; that's Smallville's schedule. It's gotten so bad in recent years that many shows now imprint "all new episode" or "fresh episode" on the screen during the show (I think, because people are so turned off by frequent repeats). It's wierd and annoying, sorry, end of rant.

The networks have tried to ease those problems with serial type of shows. "Alias" and "24" being the examples this year as both will start in January and run straight thru until May sweeps to avoid the glut of reruns in December. I don't think that's good for us, because it puts the pressure on to "record" every episode and not miss one because they don't rerun those 2 shows in the summer. Of course, with DVDs out the next fall and syndication looming for both those shows, you'll eventually get what you want but the wait can be annoying so record now.

You are confusing reruns with repurposing. This past
week was the first time Lost showed a rerun in the
usual time slot. They were packaging two episodes at a
time and showing them on Saturdays, alternating with
the same for Desperate Housewives.

Yes it is. The programme synopsis states this as a serial killer storyline which means the victims will not survive. Also if the synopsis is to be believed it appears likely the "age" thing will be a factor too...

One to be avoided imho.

Weekly Reruns
It seems like the have stumbled on to a way of filling those pesky Saturday night time slots that they don't want to fill with original programming by simply rerunning their most popular shows there each week. I think this trend will become more and more prevelant as time goes by.

BTW, what happened to Saturday night programming? It used to be filled with popular shows and movies, and then they slowly went away. Do people go out more now than they used to on Saturday nights? I would think, with the population getting older, that MORE people would watch TV on Saturday's... not less.

Are advertisers so enamored by that mystical 18-35 age bracket that they forget the rest of us by stuff too?

How do you keep this straight? It's way beyond my patience; btw, I did know that about Lost and that's part of what I was complaining about (in that, it all feels just like too many repeats).

question!!!
Where would I be able to view a clip from the British series called "Poirot" where Diane Fletcher was bound and gagged on a bed? I think the episode is called "Murder On The Links".

Where exactly? I went to the site but just saw several blurbs about the actress, her role, etc. Nothing about caps. Is "facade"m the episode with the girl suspended & tape gagged from a few months ago?

The foreign language dubbed scenes have a special 'cachet'
all of their own actually - I always wondered about the girls hired for the voice-over 'mmmphing' - might be an interesting bunch to meet over a couple of 'sodas' - I'll check into it.........

No. They only did that in Season 1. But the show should be heading to syndication soon.

Video Preview Site
Video detective.com has the trailers for a lot of films, past to present, including straight-to-video releases. It's a good source to check out upcoming videos which may have DinD scenes. Some trailers at the site that have B&G scene include Jackhammer Massacre, Tripfall, Border Blues, Dead Above Ground, Retribution, Wrong Turn, Caracara...

Yahoo group schedule
I set a tentative schedule for new caps and clips to the Yahoo group. Since Anubis updates 3 clips on Saturday and Kerhop 1 clip on Wednesday and Saturday, I'm going to work around those days.

So, I'll be adding a new clip and caps 3 days a week: on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The clips will usually go up early in mornings, like 1 to 2 a.m. This will also work better on the Yahoo system by uploading on different days.

I'm also very open to requests. That's the purpose of this, to share scenes. My archives are pretty good and 99 percent of my scenes are in very good condition. The one glitch is the Yahoo bandwith limits, which will drive anyone nuts on the clips. Just be patient. The clips will stay up until everyone gets them. If not, I can always repost a clip.

Obviously, future announcements will be made at the group, although I'll drop the link here a few times when I post a regular, unrelated message in order to attract new visitors. Hopefully, the group will stay up and we'll get rolling. Updates will start this Sunday.

I remember this revival vividly. I was a little too old to be a member the show's target audience, but found myself watching anyway just to see the young lady who played Happy (her name was Marilyn Patch),due to her habit of wearing hot pants that revealed her fabulous legs.
Sad to say, I don't recall any bondage scenes. After a little googling, I managed to discover her website (marilynarnone.com), so I guess I could send her an e-mail asking...naw,maybe not.

I wondered much the same thing myself, I once watched the subtittled & dubbed versions of Tie me up Tie me Down back to back trying to work out if Victoria Abrils gagtalk had been overdubbed or not. I really can't be sure. It seems a bit redundant really dubbing incoherent speech

So which episode is it where the girl (I don't remember her name) was hanging by her wrists & tape gagged? I take it it's not the one tonite?

Agreed, but perhaps it's because in its original Spanish "Mmph!" would be punctuated with one of those upside-down Spanish exclamation marks at the beginning of the word. :-)

I just recalled one of those theme parks -- I think it was Universal Studios (Orlando) where in one theater, volunteers from the audience do their best to recreate the sound effects to a film clip, then their efforts are replayed (often, amateurs have difficulty in the synchronization, with predictably hilarious results). Unfortunately, when I was there, a mmphing damsel wasn't one of the sound effects to be recreated.
