This turned out to be a nothingburger when it first aired a while back, astonishing as that may seem given the premise.

I got a copy of it from some friend who was trying to push anime on me. In short, what I've seen, it's a hentai flick.

Episode 5 (I think, and the only one I got, its by "Leed Publishing") is pretty much a bondage themed hentai, where the plot was apparantly some guy training a slavegirl, whips, spreaders, shibari, forced enemas, speculums, armbinders, a bunch of sex in bondage, the whole ball of wax. Of course, the standard anime "replace bodily fluids with glowing blue stuff" is done.

Anime isn't really my thing, but hey, if you like it, you'll probably like the series (or at least that episode)

I think it is "hard-wired'' into our brains as B.F. Skinner would say. We're definitely born with it. I remember one of the first times my mom met the woman I ended up marrying. She was telling her all these "cute'' stories about how I was always tying the neighborhood girls to trees and babysitters to chairs, and somehow making off with their shoes.
Yea, it was adorable. Except Nancy kept poking me in the ribs; we'd been playing those games since almost the first weekend we'd met.
Even well before puberty, before I knew what I was doing or why, I liked seeing tied up, barefoot women. I also like lobster rolls and split pea soup. I'm pretty sure I picked those up along the way.

Academic study
OK, maybe I'm a little goofy with champagne (happy New year BTW) but it might be cool to survey regulars here about what other traits we share; ie. does liking bound women go with left-handedness? Or punctuality?
I'd be willing to coordinate such a study if the e-zine is revived, maybe post forms on my site. Also, Brian R., I'd still do that review of 70s-80s soap scenes we talked about, with caps, and any caps on my site are available for use in e-zine articles (though I lost the ability to make new ones at the moment).

BIEL
Earlier in the week, a couple of people asked about the Bondage In Every Day Life website, which seemed to have disappeared.
Just checked. It's back up.
Couldn't post an answer on the Bulletin Board to Frank's query, so putting it here.

Any still images of that one? Jessica Alba is also shown in cuffs in a video clip from the movie set.

I can confirm that The Devils Rejects has at least one tie and gag scene when the killers take some people hostage in a motel room. Ive seen a couple of stills on the web showing them arguing while a bound and gagged woman is on the floor.

There's no way there would be genes specifically for bondage, any more than there would be genes for high heels or golf or being a Republican. There are probably genes for the desire for power and dominance--although I think that would lead to enjoying seeing *anyone* tied up.

But there are certainly genes for sexual desire, and that's what bondage is really about: a woman who is tied up is "available." Some people probably turn on those sexual genes at an earlier age than others.

OTOH, in childhood most boys think girls are annoying, so the desire to tie them up may come from that :).

I think there is most definitely something innate about having a desire to see women, or men I guess (no not in my case but don't want to leave anyone out), bound/gagged/in distress. No question that something triggers this, such as bondage scenes on television, in our formative years, but I think there must be a gene in there that sends a signal to our brains saying "you like this and you want to see more and more....".

BTW, Happy 2005 fellow bondage-lovers!! And thanks Brian R. for sticking around another year. Not sure how I'd cope if I clicked on the "Brian's Page" bookmark and got a message saying "Site can no longer be found". Continued good luck to you and all the other web-masters with links here.

This is a favorite scene of mine too. I love the nice jacket she was weariing with the breast ropes wrapped around her. Erotic.
I loved the way the black tape matched her dark eyes and the close up shots of her face showing her eyes "doing the talking". It must have been real uncomfortable having her head strapped to a board jammed in behind her back as she was. Some great mmmmphing and emoting on Ms. Turner's part as she tries to attract attention from her rescuer.

> I wanted to know if any of you fantastic clip sites can post it sumtime?
I believe Biff's site had a really nice set of caps at one time. Maybe if we all ask really nice he might post them again? I have the scene on tape but I'm still learning how to make dvds and clips.

I'm not sure that JT's feet were bound in Fatal Error. We never get a clear shot of them. She immediately gets up and runs away from the chair as soon as she is freed and there is no indication of her feet being untied. I've watched it numerous times to try to determine this. Maybe a DVD clip would provide a definite answer.

Absolutely. From my earliest memories, at least back to age 4, it was the bound and gagged condition, whether given, received or observed, that triggered the same feelings as it still does.

At first it was not gender-specific, though it transferred exclusively to females as puberty approached, and I'm not aware of any true power or dominance urge connected with it. In the prudish, sheltered atmosphere of 1950s Britain, without sisters, I was at least 9 before I even *discovered* that women were physiologically so different from men, and that was via schoolyard chatter.

The *appearance* of the b&g person was, and is, the big turn-on. One might admittedly have to *play* at being predatory or dominant (or, indeed, predated upon or submissive) to get to see and feel these things, but that was all. At the heart of the fetish for many, including myself, is the tying and gagging itself: all the surrounding fantasies, rationalisations and pretexts are simply means to this end, which may well be inherited.

...FYI, this episode should run on the 'WB' affiliate in your area on Sunday, 1/2. I've posted it on the Alerts page for that day.

Have the posting rules changed?
I've been trying all day to put up a long post here. It's maybe 90 lines or so, counting paragraph breaks, but it's all text. I keep getting the normal "Your message has been posted" response when I try to send it, but it never shows up.

I've just successfully put up a new VCR Alert, so whatever's wrong is affecting the Discussion Page only.

Is there a new length limit for the Discussion Page I need to know about?

Just wondering.

Minor toon scene
This weeks justice leage unlimited had a minor scene. They did a story where a company made clone super heros to market and make money off of. they were all knock offs of old super friends characters with new names. Any way at the end they went bad and ended up in some space aged cuffs. One of them was a knock off of the wonder twins girl.

One minor correction, this is a syndicated show, not a WB show. That means where you see the show locally depends on which station in your area happened to purchase it. In it's original two year run, I got "She Spies" on my local ABC affiliate Saturday's at 11:00pm, now that the show is in syndicated repeats, my local UPN affiliate has picked it up and airs it Sunday mornings at 10:00.

Just trying to be of help in case someone couldn't find it on the WB.

24 Season 1 DVD?
Are there any extras (footage, bloopers, commentary from Elisha about being tied up, etc) for Elisha Cuthbert in the DVDs for season 1 of 24? Best Buy has them on sale for half price this week and I was thinking about buying them if there was anything worth seeing in them besides the scenes that were on tv which I already have good copies of. Thanks.

Spellbinder Alert For West Coasters
I don't see anything in today's alerts section, so I'll just say here. I just noticed that Spellbinder, featuring Kelly Preston B&G, is starting now (8 pm) on WGN. If anybody knows approximately when in the movie her scene occurs, I would really appreciate it. I am watching several different things and would love to not have to stay pinned to Spellbinder.
