Towards the end of the 2 hrs, Garner has her arms tied to the chair arms and has the water mask put on her. That is the only bondage in the 2 hr span.

The bondage in this show has been pretty weak for me. I think she's always been tied in a chair. I wish they did to her what they did to Peta Wilson in the 2nd episode of La Femme Nikita ("Friend" episode)-string her up by the wrists, wet her down and light her up.

10 caps from the scene are posted in the photo album section of our Yahoo group, plus tons of caps in our weekly updates.

I agree, the scene wasn't much, but anything with Jennifer Garner is worth recording. Disappointed in the bad guy for not using a gag, at least before his interrogation and after he left and returned the first time after the breakfast question.

Also, Sydney's half-sister, a stunning brunette, will be regular player and will likely find herself in some bondage by season's end, hopefully.

Keep hoping, buddy.

I think it's fairly unlikely any of the major actresses on the show will be given the full treatment.

Secondary and guest characters may have a chance and it'll be a blink and miss it or it'll be dark and murky occasion.

I'm negative that way.

Speaking of that Nestor Burma scene, does anyone know what they are actually saying in english?

Re: Comic Bondage
Sorry I just had a few other thoughts on this topic. A couple more funny comic bondage scenes that are relatively recent are the one on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and the scene from the movie National Security. I love scenes where the damsel is still bound at the end of the scene and the fact that she is not freed is the source of the humor. Another scene in the database that seems to be along the same lines is the one with Cynthia Stevenson on the tv show Bob. I seem to remember someone had this scene for sale on some sort of compilation tape but I can't remember whose site it was on. One last scene that I'm curious about is one on Htf's site from the show Polizeiruf 110 in the episode "hetzjagd." This looks like possibly a comic scene but I'm not completely sure what is going on in the pics and the scene isn't in the database so i was wondering if anyone has seen this and can describe the scene. Maybe someone even has a clip of it? Thanks.

I don't have the scene to hand, but IIRC, it was something like (audible under tape, but lips clearly well sealed) "Well, aren't you going to untie me, then?"

Tape partially removed.

"What kept you? I thought I was a goner there, while you were messing about! Come on, you clowns, untie me."

I forget the male comment that followed, but along the lines of, "See how much thanks you get for helping a lady out of a tight spot? Better ask nicely."

Tape replaced.

"MMMMMM! MM-TMM MMM, MM BMMSTMMDS!"

They have done a FT scene already.

Re: Re:Bondage Humor

Similar to the Nestor Burma scene was one in the British show "C.A.T.S. Eyes", this time all female.

Two 'tecs find their rather snooty culture-snob boss Pru (Rosalyn Landor) chair tied and gagged by the smooth villain with whom she has been having an affair. She's made a fool of herself, and knows her colleagues will gloat.

"Ooh, look, it's Pru."

"MMMPH!"

"Sorry, Pru, what was that?"

Banter, including oblique fetish references IIRC, ensues at Pru's expense until she is finally untied.

I never throught Jennifer Garner would get a full scene like last season, so I was pleasantly surprised. At this point, with a tie-up in the opener, I'd say the chances are decent. A must-record every week. Hopefully, Melissa George's character will return from the dead and cause some trouble.

Absolutely love the black boots in this scene. Very sexy in the hog-tie.

Any idea which episode this is actually from? (The database says Episode: Unknown.)

Yes - and indeed more so: tying up men is seen as "fun". So much so that you do wonder if there is a gay sensibility creeping increasingly into the US culture.

Maybe I'm biassed because I cannot see bondage in anything other than a sexual context, so I fail to see what anyone would get out of a naked-tied-guy scene other than gay male titillation. Why would a "vanilla" person see it as amusing/interesting ? So that brings us to the question, given that the TV industry is still overwhelmingly male-run, what would be the reason for allowing/encourging putz bondage (esp. naked) unless there is a substantial gay media agenda ?

In the 60s we were allowed to see tied up scantily-clad women because it was OK to see damsels in distress as hetero sex objects. In the US (and I admit UK) that seems to have been replaced by men. I find it depressing.

clarification
By the way I'm not homophobic - I think if people want to programme social comedies like Will & Grace, or serious dramas with a gay agenda, or for that matter action stories with a gay male sex appeal, that's fine - as long as it is clear and separate programming, and at the same time there is also something for the rest of us to watch. What I hate, though, is having it creeping in that it's OK to have tied-up men, but tied-up women are suppressed and censored.

Keri Russell in Spielberg's "Into the West"
In the January 9-15 TV Guide magazine issue (page 18), the inset photo's caption is: "...Keri Russell is kidnapped to become Cheyenne chief's wife."

"Into the West" is an on upcoming 12-hour $50-million epic for TNT. Steven Spielberg stages the 19th-century clash between a pioneer family - Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Settle and Keri Russell - and the Lakota clan...

I wouldn't expect much -- maybe a wrist-tie in front (no gag is needed -- the nearest other pioneer family would be miles away) and Spielberg's realism will take into account that there weren't beauty salons in the Old West. Keri is pictured at the Lakota campsite surrounded by a half-dozen braves and squaws, wearing a period-conservative top and looking appropriately bedraggled (the photo is cropped, but from her stiff posture I'd guess her wrists are tied in front).

I didn't download it with my slow connection, but if it's not in the DB, I probably haven't seen it before anyway. In other words: If I knew it, it would be in the DB.

Have never been able to ID the episode with enough faith to put it in the DB. Surprisingly, the ep guides don't mention a word about the hostage taking story line. Best guess: Ep. 1.23 "Gefährliche Liebschaft" ("Dangerous Liaison")

That's WAY more than enough of this. Further posts down

You may need to scroll to your right. The site is set up
for a very large expected window. If the site owner were
to ask me, I'd suggest he look into the concept of
"liquid design", but he hasn't and this isn't the
correct forum for posts on the subject anyway.

Completist scene: Are We There Yet?
Caught a screening of this Ice Cube so-called comedy tonight. It's truly awful. But for completists, there is a very brief daydream scene (maybe 4-5 seconds) of actress Aleisha Allen tied to the hood of an SUV and lamely duct-tape gagged. Putz alert too. Movie comes out in two weeks, I believe.

Somehow they decided to rerun the Monday pilot for Medium on NBC.

Without a Trace is a bust. It's about a teen who gets pregnant, has the baby and then hides out while trying to figure out how to deal with the situation.

Nothing on "Without A Trace" either. It was your standard "teen runs away because she's pregnant and she couldn't tell her mom" show

New Yorker Illustration
Anyone ever see a 1928 Fritz Lang movie called "Spies"?

Apparently there's to be a screening of it at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. There's an illustration for the event in the current (9/10) New Yorker magazine, p22, that clearly shows a woman tied to a chair. Ankles together, left wrist tied to chair arm.

Veronica, Heather, and Bloodrayne
"Veronica Mars' continues to tease on the DID front, but the show is , like Buffy, so good that I don't mind that much.....

Great news about TJ Hooker! Could I get a few recommends on which of the episodes are the really good ones with nice long scenes? I suspect some of the episodes listed have only brief scenes.

Ms. Loker is Hot with a capital H, but consdiering that the director of Bloodrayne is Uwe Boll, who , as those of you who follow films on the internet know has become a joke because of the badness of his previous films,(His current Alone In the Dark apparently lives down to his reputation)
if there is DID scene with Ms. Loker , Boll will probably find a way to mess it up.

D.E.B.S.
TiVo just caught this for me, however our DB is sparse on information and the year appears to be incorrect as the IMDB link below says it came out in 2004. Anyone recognize the actress? IMDB has a fairly detailed list of who's in it but I'm bad when it comes to putting names to faces.

======================
Record number: 10474
Title: D.E.B.S. (2003)
Medium: Movie
Actress: unknown
Description: 11-minute short lesbian comedy. Early in the film, a woman is seen strung up by her wrists, separately, by what appears to be fairly thick red fuzzy cord. A bit of a loosie.
