Need some help with this one
I pulled this scene off a rogue VHS tape the other day. Does anybody recognize the Spanish Soap pics I have posted at the below URL? I need a show title and if possible, actress name as well. I would be most appreciative to anybody who can come up with this one. I know it's probably a long shot but I'm crossing my fingers.

Veronica Mars on Tuesday, February 22
> Nothing. Next week might have something...but I'm not holding my breath on this.
----
TV Guide magazine's description for the February 22 Veronica Mars episode: "Veronica juggles three cases when she tries to locate Logan's missing mom; helps Meg track a secret admirer."

Also in TV Guide: "Why did Alyson Hannigan pull out of ABC's upcoming sports comedy, 'In the Game?' 'My character was pointless,' the 'Buffy' alumna says of her role as Jennifer Love Hewitt's best friend and assistant. 'And it certainly wasn't challenging.' Sensing her unhappiness, ABC released Hannigan and drafted 'Roseanne's' Sara Gilbert. Willow groupies can still get a fix of their favorite witch on UPN's 'Veronica Mars' (Tuesday, Feb 22, 9PM ET). Hannigan plays Logan's spoiled half-sister. 'Hopefully I'll do a couple more episodes this season, then have a big arc next season.'"

And yet another reason to like Alyson Hannigan, willing to bypass an easy payday for a few months on a crappy show that's doomed to be canceled (c'mon, Love Hewitt in a sitcom?) and settle for a guest spot on a show ("Mars") struggling in the ratings yet receiving some critical praise. Now there's an actress confident in her ability. Go Alyson!!

I can't help with the actress' name, but that's from the mexican flick "Asalto". (I knew the name right away, but it took me awhile to remember how to misspell the title properly.)

Yes, Family Guy is a cartoon. I took for granted that everyone knew that. I'll make sure to clarify next time.

City of God
I just watched this acclaimed movie last night; it is a Brazilian version of "Boyz in the Hood", set in the brutal and squalid favelas of Rio De Janeiro. There is a brief bondage scene early in the movie, when three gang members rob a motel where wealthy Brazilians have assignations with prostitutes. They tie up the hotel maids; one of them is self-righteous, and harangues them in an admonitory tone that they should be in school, so one of the hoodlums gags her with a white towel.

Water torture on Mythbusters this evening
Probably nothing good, but worth checking out.

Yes we know she won't be gagged, but there is a remote chance she'll be restrained in some way.

My Sin City Homework
I finally scored a copy of Frank Miller's "Sin City: That Yellow Bastard." Nancy's (Jessica Alba's, we hope) DiD scenes take place in the final chapter.

(1) She's bound hand & foot with rope, wrists behind her back, & cleave-gagged with a thin cloth. Her costume is a black, long-sleeve turtleneck, jeans, & black socks. The scene has the *ultimate* putz contamination: the hero naked, similarly bound, no gag, with a noose around his neck & standing precariously on a coffee table.

(2) Later, she's bound with rope, kneeling, arms overhead to a timber beam, & is whipped by the title character. Her costume is a frilly baby-doll nightie & cowboy boots. No gag. The extended scene ends with a confrontation with the hero with Nancy as hostage with her wrists still bound in front.

The "Entertainment Weakly" cover story discussed earlier mentions male nudity as one of the few things they would *not* translate to the big screen; but since it was discussed, I consider it further confirmation that Nancy's Yellow Bastard Rope & Whip Adventure made it into the movie! (Keep your fingers crossed that naked female boobies are not also off limits.) :-)

Yeah, it's going on right now, they have wrist and ankle
shackles in a rack-like device.

The show will repeat in three hours for East/Central
people. Upcoming for the West.

Re: My Sin City Homework
I hadn't realized there was any question about it, but one detail that some may want to know about is that she's also carried over the bad guy's shoulder when the hero is left to hang.

People interested in the comic itself, by the way, might also want to know that, due to Miller's stark use of black and white, the gag is really all you can see in most of that scene-- the bonds are basically invisible.
