I don't remember if this was already discussed, but the current issue of Maxim with Sara Foster on the front, has an article about Sin City with a picture of Rosario Dawson tied to a chair being menaced by Michael Clark Duncan. |

Monday March 28 08:35:29 2005 Nightman |
I watched an episode of this series late last night, and noted its excellent potential for producing scenes with bound and gagged damsels. I consulted the voluminous Scene Database, and found several entries for a series entitled "NightMan", but there seems to be little correlation between this series and the one I watched.
The series I watched featured Simon Macorkindale, from the defunct "Manimal" series and his gorgeous brunette daughter. There seems to be no mention of either character in the Database Entries. Could someone please elucidate, and tell me whether the two series are one and the same, or two different programs altogether? |

Nightman and Manimal were both produced by Glen Larson and apparently Larson called upon MacCorkindale to bring back his character from Manimal for one episode of Nightman. The TV Tome page for this episode is linked below. I've not seen this one, but I've seen a few episodes of Nightman and find it hilarious, but I'll watch practically anything with Jayne Heitmeyer in it. I assume Carly Pope (of the series "Popular") plays MacCorkindale's daughter? |

According to IMDB there is a TV MOVIE "Nightman" (1997). It seems it turned into a TV series "Night Man" (1997), and much of the cast is the same. It is mentioned on the IMDB page ("trivia") that Simon Macorkindale starred in a 2nd season episode of the series. |

Yasmine went through two different TV series without getting a scene before finally getting it in a made-for-TV movie. I never expected Kelly Hu to have the kind of scene because she played such a kick-ass kind of character who would never end up helpless. Still waiting on Uma Thurman. |

Sharon Lawrence (still looking pretty good) was busted in her bedroom by an undercover cop in the opening minutes. He forces her onto the bed and cuffs her hands behind her back. She's "carried" out in lingerie (one cop holding ger from behind, one holding her feet), a redish top over black stockings and black panties, which are seen while she struggles. When finally put on her feet, she bolts and is tackled on the lawn and finally taken away. She shows up later in an orange jumpsuit in a prison scene. Nice scene. |

She had ropes around her chest with hands tied behind. The film already has 12 reviews up at rottentomatoes.com, and 11 are positive. Usually the negative reviews are the ones that slip in stuff about "bound and gagged." Maybe the 11 positives also like Jessica Alba tied up. |

This is one of the finest DID videos I can recall..it starred Sharon Austin..wonderful plot with all the right ingredients. It was released at one time by Something Weird Video but all of my attempts to find this have turned up nothing. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. |

They're starting to set up the storyline on "AMC." When the Monday show ended, Greenlee was alone in her office and someone was sneaking up from behind. There's no way this is the kidnap scene. It'll be someone she knows saying "Why are you hear alone." Plus, they won't kidnap a damsel on a Tuesday show.
Likely soemthing later in the week. Previews for Tuesday didn't show Greenlee but only because they don't want to reveal it was a good guy coming up from behind. That said, of course I still be recording. |

Yes, the gorgeous brunette Carly Pope does indeed play MacCorkindale's daughter. It is revealed during the episode that she inherits the ability to transform herself into birds and beasts as well. I consulted the voluminous Scene Database, and it seems that she was bound and gagged once, in the defunct series "Popular". |

Well, in that case maybe Suzanna Love's scene in Boogeyman probably fits that best for me. Before that scene, I never imagined I'd see a woman in her bra and panties gagged with a pair of pantyhose and her mouth stuffed with a cloth. That was before the days when I even knew commercial vids existed. These days, having seen so much, I don't know if it's possible for scene to meet all of my elements I'd like to see. |

I meant the actresses scene incorporating all the unlikely fantasy fetish elements you never thought you'd actually see, as if you had scripted and directed the scene the way you always fantasized about as being too far fetched to come true. ---- Walker, Texas Ranger ("Return of LaRue"). Let's see: Shackled spreadeagled on a bed with studded black leather padded cuffs on her wrists and ankles, gagged (and onscreen re-gagged) with a unique black velcro gag (which probably stood in for a plug strap-gag, which simply won't be seen on network TV). Lengthy, well-lit scene with close-ups, mmphing, futile straining against her restraints, evil captor gloating... I couldn't believe this got shown on primetime network TV. Another would be B.L. Stryker ("The Dancer"). Hmm, the serial rapist's m.o. is to force nubile women to strip, then tie them to their beds, cleave-gag them, then give them an oil massage while saying things such as "I will give you more pleasure than you have ever known..." Not one, but two demos of his m.o. |

My pick would be "Dangerous Curves" where Michael Michele and Lise Cutter are bound and gagged together. The very first time I saw that show, I was praying for a scene with those two together. Great camerawork, which starts from the floor level and works its way up to the gagged damsels. Lots of mmmmppping, including a classic exchange to start when Cutter mmmppphs something and Michele mmpphs back "what?" I thought this scene was awesome enough, then discover the deleted footage shown in the Euro version, with Michele ungagging herself, spitting out the packing only to get re-stuffed and re-gagged on screen. In that version, after the bad guy ripes the tape off the side of her face, I'm pretty sure Michele says "Ouch, that hurts" in the foreign language it was dubbed in. |

Jessica Lange was held down and towel-gagged while being given shock treatment in 1982's "Frances." Hilary Swank's scene in "Dying to Belong" may be another. No bondage is described in the database entry. Neither is any for Geena Davis in "Beetlejuice." Also, the bondage in "Comes a Horseman" is described as implied. In addition, Kim Basinger is credited with getting the whole nine yards in an episode of "Dog and Cat." And maybe this isn't worth a mention, but the character Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar for playing in "Murder on the Orient Express" in 1974 was shown briefly from behind, tied to an overturned chair and possibly gagged. It doesn't appear, however, that Bergman herself did that scene. Finally, with so many new screen names around here, it bears repeating that of the three actresses who have won Oscars for roles in which they unambiguously appeared bound on screen-Susan Hayward ("I Want to Live!", 1958), Angelina Jolie ("Girl, Interrupted," 1999), and Charlize Theron ("Monster," 2003), none were gagged |

> One of the top of my head
Marisa Tomei- The Watcher ---- To make this question difficult, you'd need to specify "Gagged AFTER winning their Oscar" -- in which case Marisa Tomei is one of the few that comes to mind. Otherwise, one can simply plug the names of Oscar-winners into the Scene Database, where a sizeable number (e.g., Kim Basinger and Sharon Stone) had b&g scenes before being cast in the type of movie roles that attract the Oscar-voters. |

Record number: 11258 Title: Carnivàle aka Carnivale Medium: TV Series Actress: Clea DuVall Description: Episode: "New Canaan, CA" (2.12) Sophie (DuVall) is grabbed by the sidekick of the evil reverend. He takes her off to a deserted cabin, where he pulls her out of the back seat of his car. Her hands are tied behind her back with rope, her feet are not tied and she is not gagged. He carries her over his shoulder to the cabin and dumps her on the floor inside, leaving her locked in. They cut back to her several times as she yells for help and beats against the door. There are some good looks at her bound hands. She is attired in a depression-era print dress. |

---- This is one we'll need to depend on either those who record "Las Vegas" or West Coasters, because the scene comes completely from left field! It occurred in the last six minutes or so, towards the end of "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree" being sung. Scene cut to a guest's shrewish wife, left hog-tied and gagged on the bed with... yellow ribbon. |

Actually they show a photograph of a hogtied and gagged woman, presumably the actress whose "body" is seen at the beginning. The dummy appears in a live scene, as the detectives restage the crime. You'd think if they went to the trouble of tying her up for a photo they'd have had the body discovered in that condition. Good try by the script writer though, in that the bondage was integral to the plot. |
