| I've seen no buzz on Film Life in the last couple of weeks so I'll throw this onto the "possible, but doubtful" stack.
MTV has spawned yet another reality series. "Film Life: House of Wax" airs Thursday nights at 10:00PM (That's 11:00 PM for all of you right-coasters!) The premise of the show is your basic behind-the-scenes look at the making of a motion picture. The show would be great if they just stuck to the film making part. Less than a third of the 30 minute program actually has anything to do with the movie. The rest is just filler and most of that is centered around Paris Hilton. So why post this as a potential in such a ancient and honorable forum such as this? We have a confirmed DiD scene of sorts for Elisha Cuthbert. In an interview a few weeks back she stated that she had her lips glued in a scene for the film. It is at least plausible that they might include the scen in this show given the unusual nature of it. I'm hoping for at least some kind of payoff for having to sit through twenty minutes of Paris every week. Still lovin' Elisha, |

I was relaying information to posters who were already up to speed with the thread on this particular program. I was in a rush and wasn't thinking about people who don't follow the board regularly for threads like this. |

Don't know what the air time is for PST. Like I said, there will be more to this scene on Monday. It involves a woman (Paola Rey) chair tied and duct tape gagged while a villanous female is busy setting a fire around her. |

I caught this scene by accident about six years ago. It was part of some PBS program that featured a bunch of student films. Don't know the title of the program or if it was a one time thing or a regular series. There's not much at all to the scenes. She's sitting with her hands loosely tied in front with a rope and a chain. The total scene time is about 5 seconds for both scenes combined. I actually posted caps on my old site at one point. Not because it was a great scene, but because it was Lauren Graham. Don't have the caps anymore and I haven't been able to locate the tape in years. By the way, the entire film runs about 12 minutes and is pretty entertaining. |

going to sort this for the "die-hards" First, found actual title "Annyeong Francesca", and someone likes me and put "Episode 9" in English in the credits. This a Korean sit-com, not Japanese. _____________ That out of the way, all you get is the three ladies with the over the mouths with the "X"s on them. Appears cloth doctor masks. Caps would do it. From what gather, the humour is the fourth (vampire girl?) dressed in black has no money, nor her family for the ransom. As opposed to those 3 dressed in the pleated skirts, or whatever. One of the kidnappers ends up giving her afew bucks even. When they try to tell her to bugger off, figure it's the whole left out of the group thing. So she flips out and beats the shit out of the kidnappers, and gets them to drive everybody home. So no bonds I 'll work on a clip for the real die-hards.. But suggest you take heed of this before doing any trading for it. |

But quick ps - Jolie, Langoria, now Electra - sorry to fray anyone's fantasies, but I'm starting to wonder if these ladies aren't on a band wagon with these interviews. | Although I didn't see the film, from earlier discussions, I'd guess that the pic is from White Noise, a Michael Keaton film that came out not long ago to great public indifference, meaning that it should be on dvd shortly. I checked the database, however, and found no listing for either White Noise, or another similar sounding Chandra West scene. On the other hand, there was a nice sounding scene with Chandra West from "Secret Service", apparently a TV show that was well under my radar. I don't recall anyone ever offering caps of this , but if I'm mistaken, perhaps a helpful poster could point me in the right direction.
Also: There ought to be a listing for White Noise in the database, since the scene was confirmed in earlier posts. As I mentioned, I haven't seen it, so I am hardly in a position to add it to the database. Anyone? |

| Let's all tip a glass this weekend to Dale Messick, whose comic strip "Brenda Starr, Reporter" not only gave her entry into the male-dominated world of cartooning, but put a couple of scenes into the database. She passed away Tuesday at age 98.
By the way, the IMDb gives her a writer's credit-not for either the 1945 movie serial or Brooke Shields' infamous 1986 performance (which some critics consider a close second to "Plan 9 from Outer Space" as the worst film ever), but for a 1976 TV series that starred Jill St. John as you-know-who. Anyone remember this, or any scenes from it? And I hate to tell on myself, but I really didn't look at the strip much while I was growing up. In fact, I didn't pay much attention to it until I noticed how often it got mentioned here-meaning that I honestly don't have much of an idea as to how often Brenda got it while Messick herself controlled her destiny-i.e., from the strip's debut in 1940 until Messick retired in 1985-as opposed to how many scenes she's done at the direction of Messick's successors Ramona Fradon and an artist/writer team that goes under the collective signature Brigman and Schmich (although their first names escape me at the moment). Might make for an interesting foray into the sociology of damseldom. |

| about the 1 hour mark Jayne Heitmeyer is knocked out by a blow dart. She's dragged to a native camp and tied hands behind to a pole. Nice close-ups of her bound hands. She complains to a kid a bunch of times that her ropes are too tight but he doesn't understand. An adult captor allowed the kid to untie her at the 1:10 mark. She was threatened that she'll be killed if she tries to escape. No gag. No leg bondage. Not looking promising that she'll be tied up again unless for the climax when she's supposed to be getting fed to the snake. |
