On Oxygen next Saturday. I just saw an ad for it. Yahoo TV guide doesn't show it, but I've noticed that it isn't terribly accurate. Wonder what they cut, I would of have never thought that would show on cable. |

It was a water melon eating contest where all of the contestants, all of them kids except Rachel, have their hands tied behind with plaid napkins. When she wins, she jumps up and down, hands still tied behind. 30 sec max. |

"Worthiness" is in the eyes of the beholder. To me this was a great "scene" because of its unexpected nature. Now that it's been built up it certainly may disappoint some of you. If that's the case, there's always the Erase button. |

Is the same "Block Party" show that aired last year? It sounds like it from the description. If I recall correctly, last year's scene occurs in the last 5 minutes of the show. |

> On Oxygen next Saturday... Wonder what they cut? I would have never thought that would show on cable. . You can probably kiss the bondage-sex scene near the end goodbye. I don't see how they can coherently edit that to broadcast standards. If I recall, that only leaves the cuff-bar scenes at the beginning and end, bondage-wise. I think they'll have to leave the spanking in, though-cutting it would take too much away from the story-although the bathroom mirror scene immediately afterwards (where Gyllenhaal admires the rosy glow Spader has just given her cheeks-and I don't mean the ones above her waist) will probably be trimmed a bit. If I didn't already have the whole movie in my collection, I might be tempted to tune in. Anyone who does, please be sure to weigh in over on Database Corrections so details of the broadcast edit can be added to the description if appropriate. |

OMG yes who doesn't remember picking their heart up off the floor when The Phantom instructed Kristy Swanson To "Tie her Up" and she punched her out instead. I mean she STILL could have tied her up once CZJ was out cold.. number one on my list...Hmmm...I have A LOT. Kellie Martin really needs gagged. Her tied up hand & foot scene in Christy was great, I wish copies were available. I guess Jenny MacCarthy doesn't count because of that quick ballgag scene. Nancy Valen is VERY high on my all time wish list. She managed to do guest spots on shows like Walker, Fortune Hunter and the Young Riders and never got anything. She was cute on Batwatch but she was the absolute HOTTEST when she guest stared as the nurse on an episode of saved by the bell("Saved by the Bell" playing "Jennifer" in episode: "From Nurse to Worse" (episode # 2.16) 15 December 1990 ). She was in a really bad "Gremlins-like" horror movie that I still hold out some hope for (Little Devils: The Birth (1993) ). speaking of gremlins... In the original gremlins It would have been so much cooler if the grems had Phoebe Cates tied up to a post ala bad kids with a babysitter/teacher rather than just have them make her serve them drinks. |

Sunday May 29 10:54:51 2005 Fall CBS shows |
Among the announced CBS Fall entries:
"Threshhold", starring Carla Gugino as the leader of a band of eccentrics who are our best defense against an alien invasion. "The Unit", with Amy Acker. I have no idea what's the premise, but at least the title is promising. "How I Met Your Mother", a romantic comedy with Alyson Hannigan. It's good that Alyson landed a series regular spot so quickly, although it's bad news that it means that she won't be available a recurring guest role on UPN's "Veronica Mars". |

Spoilers say Cassie (Laura Wright) will be kidnapped this week. Also, Harley (Beth Ehlers) is on the run from someone. Might be worth a look, although this soap hasn't produced much in a couple years. |

Some of you may remember that in the music video for the "Wild Wild West" song they were planning to have Salma Hayek bound and gagged but she told them they could either put live spiders on her (as they also had planned) or do the bondage, but not both. And they went with the spiders. There were even storyboards made up of her bound and gagged for the shoot. |
Sunday May 29 14:29:57 2005 Re: Pretending Everything's Alright Scenes |
No one mentioned the excellent Linnea Quigley scene where her captor made her leave a message on the phone saying she was fine in between being B&G. |
Sunday May 29 14:31:18 2005 Dragon And The Hawk |
Looks like a direct-to-video/DVD movie...
Trailer shows a quick clip of a second scene (other than the one in the pic). |

Sunday May 29 16:18:22 2005 web movie gag |
In the first movie of this Japanese series (5/5), a cute girl gets a lengthy hang gag followed by a cleave gag.
The bondage is fairly lame and there is no mmpphhing, but good long closeups. |

I saw it when it was released and I guess it was an "R" rating but it seemed like a "PG-13" to me. There's no real "graphic" sex and the bondage is very light (no intense gag type scenes). I also don't recall any breast nudity at all. One quick scene, where Spader is doing her against a tree which shows her wrists tied behind only, may be cut, but only because it's suggestive. The fact that Oxygen would run it at all is a pretty clear indication that they think it's pretty tame stuff though I doubt it would ever be as good or complete as an HBO showing which doesn't have commercials and is generally uncensored. If you've never read the book (short story) or haven't seen any part of the movie you may be disappointed; the movie is not about the bondage, or about turning the audience on. I did like it as an independent film. |

Link to the book by Mary Gaitskill which includes the short story Secretary. On the link page there is also a link to the Secretary screenplay book which is a good read. |
