Ha! You can now buy a 10pk of blank DVDs for a little over $10 these days. Not to mention a DVD recorder for UNDER $200...how times have changed.

Suggestions on how to make requests would be a good topic for an Ezine article.

Saw a scene on "icon" (Frederick Forsyth's Icon) airing right now, looked like there could be more.
Black tape gagged, wrists tied behind back on a scientist type lady.

There could be more stuff earlier in the ep

Looking for a scene
Hi everyone! I am looking for the title of a movie which has a nice scene.

It's a comedy where a whole family is tied up. The mother or daughter (I don't remember) talks too much so she gets gagged. She remains like that till they are freed, and meanwhile she mmmmmppphs to the other family members who are ungagged.

Does anyone know the title of this film? Caps or a clip would be the best of course :)

Thanks!

I don't think moving the caps/clips request to the trading page solves the problem. The problem as I understand it, is the cappers are getting overloaded with requests. Moving requests from one page of the site to another page of the site probrably won't reduce the requests. All it does is move them.

I think the best option is number two. Limiting requests to vintage or harder to come by scenes. This approach does address the problem. It should reduce the number of requests. It also appears that cappers dislike requests for scenes that are easy to find. This will eliminate such requests. The only obstacle here is defining a vintage or hard to come by scene. That might get tricky. I suggest implementing this option. Once this option is in place it should be monitored to see if it's effective.

Potential
Don't know if this will lead to anything or not. I was watching DOG EAT DOG yesterday on the Game Show Network (slow day) and became interested in hot hostess Brooke Burns. A quick look up on the IMDB and I was surprised to learn that she's appearing in a sequel to SINGLE WHITE FEMALE. It's supposed to be a made for TV movie (likely straight to video), so it may be something to keep an eye open for.

Three Burials
I just watched a online preview of a new movie scheduled for later this year (no date set yet)and directed and starring Tommy Lee Jones. Looks to be a border patrol type of film and there is both a quick shot of an attractive Mexican woman with her hands zip tied in front of her, and a blonde anglo woman with a silver duct tape gag. You can find the trailer and pick the size to watch it in at:

cap controversy
I thought I'd just give some provisional thoughts on the cap controversy. I considered the question a bit, and to me it's not a simple issue.

First, while I can imagine that moving all requests to the trade page could work, I can also imagine it presenting problems in iteself. For one thing, given the intensity with which some people request caps, I can easily imagine the trade page becoming THE LAST place a capper would ever want to go.

Which brings me to the second issue: the manner of request. Perhaps there should be a rule of only 1 request for caps under 1 "name" per week. This would apply not only to "1" scene, but also "1" request for that scene, ie, not 10 requests for the same 1 scene. This wouldn't have to be solely legislated by the Moderator. I'm sure all the regulars would be happy to diplomatically point out to over-excited posters FAQ N+1, or whatever rule it would be. Of course, only the Moderator could tell if the same poster were making multiple requests under multiple names, but I imagine that would be a much less frequent problem.

The question of "manner of request" also touches on another issue. To me, there is always a big difference between a cap request that comes in the midst of a larger issue / post, and a cap request that only screams out, "WHO HAS CAPS OF SINGLE WHITE FEMALE ASAP!". In fact, many cap requests come almost as an after-thought to an interesting discussion. I think the discussion page would lose something if all posts that included requests for caps were prohibited. Often, in discussing a larger issue, a scene comes up that even regular posters did not know existed. It fairly natural, in the course of such a discusssion, to ask, BTW, do you, or does anyone, have that scene on tape? This is related to the idea of "only requests for old/rare scenes", but is not quite identical. I think the key is that some requests come organically, out of a legitemate discussion topic, while others are purely mercenary. Again, how to legislate this difference could be tricky, or it could be as easy as regular posters pointing out to people a certain level of politesse. (Although, even in pointing out the rules, certain limits woud have to apply, ie, we wouldn't need 20 people jumping on someone over breaking the rules. One response would suffice, as long as the rest of the posters read it and then simply ignored the potential follow-ups.) At any rate, an approach of this type would have the advantage of being primarily the community's resonsibility. Perhaps it's idealistic, but I all imagine that we could all in part learn legislate ourselves. (Van, for instance, is quite good at doing this, and has drawn me back a couple times from rampant speculation.)

The last of my provisional thoughts: In terms of new scenes, I do sympathize with foreign posters who do not have access to what would be otherwise "common" scenes. Perhaps there would have to be a certain allowance for these types of requests. Again, however, the earlier rules would apply: one request per person per week.

As I said, these are only provisional thoughts on the mattter by which I hope to engage thoughtful discussion.

Thanks for the info D.K. I only saw the scenes you're describing in the International Flash trailer. The blonde is January Jones according to IMDB.

It looks like it would be an interesting movie in addition to providing a tie-up scene for the uber-cute Miss Jones.

I doubt Lori plays the pregnant girl, since she's likely not going to be shown much.

Also tonight on Lifetime at 7 p.m., "Hush" stars Tori Spelling who is targeted by her boyfriend's jealous ex. I'd love to see Tori in a new scene.

Lifetime also appears to be burning off the final episodes of "Wild Card." The one last night didn't look familiar, but they didn't show any previews for next week.

Your empathy is welcome, folk. But don't be overcome with anxiety: we "foreigners" shall survive. BTW, FR3 aired "la Horse" on last Thursday. A very nauseating script but Eléonore Hirt's full treatment saves that Z movie from being forgotten for good.

"Hostage" question
This movie is out on DVD on June 21. For those who saw it, were there are straight-on closeups of Michelle Horn sporting the white tape-gag or was she just shown from the side angle we saw in the photo still?

The DB says "brief close-up of her gagged." Was wondering if it's the still angle or a straight on shot.

Theres also an added benefit of adding a scene to the DB that is too disturbing to watch.
If someone considering checking it out because they saw the cover in the video store decided to reads the DB entry before renting it to see if its worth their time, they'd know to skip it if it's too disturbing for them.

I've had all three copies of it sitting on top of my television for the last month and now I'll keep it for another two. muhahaha (Not really, but thanks for the idea. I just added it to my queue at #65)

This weekend's lineup included "Boondock Saints" (I don't know why I don't just go ahead and buy the movie,) and "Ella Enchanted" (I movie I've wanted to see for awhile, but even with kids entow was too embarrassed to rent at a store.) Both are very funny (in VERY different ways,) and both contain minor bondage scenes. Actually, I shouldn't call any scene with the gorgeous Anne Hathaway minor,(I especially like the way she says "thank you" after beiing chained up.) I was so impressed with it, I was trying to make a clip to e-mail out, but I couldn't get one under the 10MB limit I was happy with, so instead I'll be sending out the one from "Boondock Saints".

Send an e-mail to the address below with the Subject Line "Thanks for the BS" and tonight after "American Dad" I'll e-mail it out.

Well put Anubis!
I know if I see something in the video store that has potential (let’s say in the horror genre) and I read a description here with such elements as "beaten and bloody" etc, It saves me from wasting $4 renting something I'll hate.

You can buy a DVD recorder for less than $100! Saw one advertised at Target for $97(CyberHome Model CH-DVR1600). Also, you can buy a HDTV tuner that will work with a VCR for $198 at Wally World (Wal-Mart). You use the S-Video in(or composite in) on the VCR and set it to record off the external input. It gives you a nice clean picture to record. The downside is that you have to set the tuner to the channel to be recorded and leave it on.

Couldn't agree more. For example, Last House on Dead End Street, considered one of the sickest American films ever made, did involve some full treatment, however the context of these scenes is very brutal.

Another example is when the DiD scene might be harmless, and I guess "easy to watch", however the movie itself involves very disturbing themes. I recently clipped Last House on the Left (yeah, I know, two "last houses" .. running theme here), however I felt dirty after watching the movie in its entirety for a few days by doing so. I still have the clip, but even just knowing what happens to the ladies involved revents me from enjoying it as I would a more innocent scene.

Regardless, I am and will always be a fan of horror DiD scenes. Maybe it's because some of the best looking ladies (even if they are SHIT actresses) star in these roles. Plus, I'm just a ridiculous huge horror fan, and combining the horror with bondage makes my day. :)

Legend of the Wolf has added the Mockingbird Don't Sing (2001) scene to the database. He reports that the scene invovled is very disturbing and hard to watch, but decided that some of the scenes in the database are also disturbing.

The DVD cover (as seen on the IMDB) simply shows a young lady strapped to a chair. She is more than a just a kidnapping victim, read the DB entry for more details.

What would you say would be the best full treatment you've ever seen under the most difficult and brutal context you've ever seen?

For me, it would have to be a tie between two scenes: the opening scene of "Die Watching," with that cute, leggy and very buxom blonde taped to a chair and tapegagged (my favorite) and with her top down, revealing her ample mammory glands. However, she meets a rather horrible end, which renders the whole scene difficult to watch.

The other scene is from "Spine," a piece of crap video release from 10-15 years ago, featuring TWO lovely ladies bound and gagged, but unfortunely they too meet their ends at the hands of a psycho. (However, it turns out to be only a nightmare, so that takes the curse off it a little)

For me, it would easily be both scenes in "Funny Games". Despite the occasional breaking of the 4th wall, the violence is convincing and disturbing, but the gags are effective, the bondage is strict and well-lit and the movie doesn't dodge the sexual implications. I've seen better bondage and I've seen more violence, but this is the strongest combination of the two.

I am always grateful to folks who take their time to update the database, since it is a free service that benefits everyone. I'm especially glad when they include details like if the movie is crap or disturbing & gross, or if the scene is too brief/blink and miss or poorly lit. Knowing what to stay away from is just as valuable as knowing what to look for.

On a side note, I love horror movies, even bad ones, I'm a big fan of MST3K, and even crap movies can be saved as entertainment if you give it "the treatment". (Yes I own DEVIL'S PREY, yes I saw THE BROTHERHOOD, no, I'm not proud of it). Some of the worst movies gave us some of the best scenes. As for "shit actresses", hey- 2 things in their defense- 1 is it's really, really hard to make a break in acting, and everyone's gotta start somewhere, and 2 starting filmmakers usually have zero budget (like CLERKS, for example) and have to hire actresses with no SAG card. Don't blame the actress for the movie being a turkey.

Oh geez, thats a tough one for me to narrow down since I go for scenes like this. It would probably be Chainsaw Massacre 1.
Close runners up would be Chainsaw Massacre 3, or The Hillside Strangler. Candy Snatchers was a good one, and Dragnet 69, although the brutality is more implied than shown. Hidden wasn't bad either.

Ha! I never knew that. I have been unable to actually watch this film to the end, and I gave it a try a couple of times. Along the same lines are the slightly better but still no-budget horror movies Video Violence, and it's creatively titled sequel, Video Violence 2.

Secretary (airs tonight 9pm on Oxygen)
I glimpsed through it when it aired on Oxygen last night, they cut out a lot of the good parts (like the arm spreader, pulling the paper out with her teeth typewriter scene)
I'm almost certain they cut short the spanking scene (she reads the letter only once in the tv version).
Expected, I guess.
:(

I bet it pissed off some fundies though!

Doctor Who? No-Go.
Just for the record, nothing of interest DiD-wise in the latest Doctor Who episode, number 12, titled "Bad Wolf". HOWEVER, at the end of the episode, Rose is .. how to say this without spoiling anything .. "amongst friends", a.k.a, surrounded by villains. There COULD be something in episode 13, though considering it's the finale, and the context of these villains, I do have doubts.

MISSING??
Did anything of note happen on tonite's MISSING, with the pregnant lady? I saw that the next episode, immediately following, is about dirty cops who kidnap an Internal Affairs officer. I'd say it's probably a man but you never know....could be a woman. Unfortunately we're having a bad storm & our cable is out! :-(
