No, she had been tied up by crooks, he was rescuing her.

Just a precisation: "manga" is for comics, "anime" is for cartoon. The good thing about japanese stuff is that they often take on anime the same scenes they have in manga.

Bad P.R.?
Are you like me? ... um, let me rephrase that. As great as it was to see Kyra Sedgwick gagged on The Closer on Monday night, it was another one of those storylines where the women who want to get tied up are sick and the men who are more than happy to help them are dangerous pervs.
The scene where the male cop unpacks the guy's bag and dumps the cuffs and ball gag on the table with a look of disgust is typical of these kind of shows.
Once in awhile we get a TV show that gets it right but our public image took a hit Monday night. Too bad we can't chip in and get a high-powered public relations firm to do a campaign for us.
Something like having David K. and I with the B/G actresses from One Life to Live in their cheerleader outfits. David and I say "Bondage... it won't grow your hair back or help you lose the beer gut, but'' And the camera pans over to Natalie and Vangie. "Mmpphhh.. it's fun!!'' they mumble.
(I know, have the coffee FIRST, then get on line...)

So this TV show could be based on a comic well as a cartoon?
Hoping someone looking at the clip recognises it then.

Yeah,
apparently this show very similar to a cartoon that aired in the United States, with difference being the US one the girls were good scrappers and beat the crap out of villians.
So far,
this show the girls haven't scrapped yet, nor shown signs they brawlers. Add to that Aya Ueto's coach a Soap prettyboy, afraid this may quickly turn into a romancey tear-jerker.

Wait on till more fellas see the clip and offer their opinions on it.

If "our" "pubic image" is bad, it's partly because it deserves to be. Hollywood exaggerates things until they are ridiculous, but the fact of a middle aged perv who lives for this stuff (as opposed to it being a hobby for the well-adjusted) is not exactly something that doesn't exist. You can be proud of your acheivements, but having a fetish isn't exactly an achievement.

The "Law and Order" shows also do the same kind of high and mightly scenes regarding bondage, but that's expected in these type of shows.

I'm just glad, actually thrilled, we got a pretty good scene out of this, yet there hasn't been any discussion about the quality of the scene. Great that the guy started with the tape-gag first instead of the cuffs.

The storyline was pretty absurd in that if you're a woman attacked like Kyra was in that scene, and just happen to have a gun tucked into your back, do you really think she'd stick it in the guy's chest and "request" him to get off as violent as that scene was or would she just blow him away? Of course, there couldn't be 45 more minutes if she blew him away.

TNT is also starting another new series on July 31 called "Wanted" about a group hunting dangerous criminals. One hot female in the team, so maybe something there. Will also air on Mondays.

Correction: "Wanted" debuts on Sunday, July 31, and will air its follow-up episodes on Sunday nights.

OTOH, the second episode of "The Inside" did one of the best jobs I've seen in mainstream media of depicting happy, healthy perverts (except the dead ones, of course, but it wasn't a fetishist's fault).

OLTL
Opening scene has Natalie bound hands behind to a pole with a black cleave gag. The bonds have changed and she is tied up with rope instead of the usual duct tape. Feet are tied as well. Dramatic mmmphing causes the killer to take the gag off only to regag her moments later. There are still 50 more minutes left!

She is still bound to the pole, gagged and menaces. Scenes occur again at :15 and :25 and it seems like more to come

OLTL winning lottery numbers
I had the scene times for Natalie's four appearances as follows: 2-minute mark (just prior to intro), 6-minute mark, 25-minute mark and 47-minute mark. It's easy to catch these. Each time, a segment with John at the police station runs just prior to the scenes where Natalie pops. Previews for tomorrow show her being menaced some more in front of the Killing Club class, whoever they all are.

...Many thanks, Kevin. This from a Left Coaster who is sure that having ones fingernails pulled out with pliers has to be better than watching Soaps waiting for a scene to break. As Van would point out, it certainly is quicker, no? Again, my heartfelt thanks...

My pleasure. West coasters do a lot for the rest of us when we miss stuff back east in terms of trades, caps, etc. Besides, I can sympathize with anybody not wanting to sit through soap schlock to get great scenes. My schedule's worked out so far in terms of tracking this plotline, so I'll provide intel on whatever days I can.

Hmmm...I'm not sure why no one has stepped forward to correct this. Natalie is tied to an office swivel chair, not a pole. She's wearing the cheerleader outfit and her feet are tied together, with her wrists tied behind the chair, technically roped together but a couple feet apart. The killer menaces her a few times and the final scene has him forcing her gag over her mouth and telling her "Fine, don't eat. You won't need to considering what I've got in store for you."

And the previews for tomorrow promise more of the same, with a quick teaser that a gun may be involved.

Since this is only Wednesday, I think we can look forward to this story arch continuing through Friday, with probably a teaser right before the weekend, and maybe reaching its conclusion on Monday, if soap operas continue the way they normally operate. That's what they did a few weeks back with the twin burning at the stake scene.

BTW, Natalie looks hot all tied up like that. She plays a good victim.

Recording Frustrations
I know all of us have had some frustration in trying to get recordings of good scenes. Let me share one that happened to me today.

I do not have cable TV. All of the scenes I get are off of rabbit ears. So, whenever there is a good network scene, I work hard to get it.

My rabbit ears have an antenna booster, which is attached to our living room lights. This morning, I set up my VCR to record OLTL, knowing that it was scheduled to have some good scenses. My wife left for work early, so I turned on the lights to make sure that the booster would be on, and the antenna would give me a good quality recording of OLTL.

My wife came home from work early for lunch. You guessed it, SHE TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS!!! Now I have the OLTL episode, but the quality of it is TERRIBLE!!

YEECH!!

Is this grounds for divorce or what?

Maybe some of you have similar stories.

Ebay Photo
Greetings to all in DIDland. I am writing concerning a photo I saw in the "Vintage Bondage" section of Ebay. The photo show"s a woman, an attractive blonde, in what appears to be some kind of sack with a tag hanging off of it. She is being gagged over the mouth with a black scarf by another woman. the name of the damsel is Dorinda Stevens, and the movie is called "The Shakedown" or the "Naked Mirrior". I was just wondering if anybody had seen, or new anything else about the scene, or the movie. Either way, it's definately a pretty cool pic. Check it out. Later.
