That's right, nothing happened. I checked out the early evening repeat on Soapnet and Natalie wasn't shown in Thursday's episode. She wasn't shown on the preview for Friday, either, though it seems likely they might show her at the very end of Friday's episode to lead viewers into next week.

I checked out Passions during the day as well for the obvious score it was going to provide and the fact that Passions doesn't air on Soapnet. Fortunately, the Passions scene is done so I can get back to monitoring OLTL. Soaps are brutal in general, but Passions really does go out of its way to be the cheesiest, most painful soap of them all to try to sit through.

Catching up...
"Appreciate the intel ... taping and reviewing soaps is the root canal of this avocation." -Biff

Perhaps one of the best quotes ever to come off this board. :)

"Was going to add the handcuff scene from the dui episode that aired this weekend. Mythbusters - belongs in the db or not? I think yes, but I'm others will disagree." -AsbestosFilter

I think "yes". It was a blink-and-you-miss-it scene but I've seen database entries for less (brief handgags, for example).

<< For those who like scantily-clad slavegirls chained to dungeon walls (even if they *are* about seven inches tall & made of plastic) >>

And oddly, of all the Conan 2 figures on the site, that's the one that is already sold out... :)

<< the creator of Fox's The Inside, Tim Minear, has stated that Fox is pulling the plug on the show. >>

Bummer. I just watched the two TiVo'ed episodes from this week, and although there was no bondage, I really enjoyed the shows. OT, but reminds me of the first episode of the recently-renewed Family Guy, where Peter names off like 50 Fox shows that came out after the Family Guy was originally cancelled and had since been dropped. Fox seems to have a pretty poor track record outside of a few big winners (like The Simpsons).

Exactly. This show is leaving open the possibility that we may have another scene with Natalie, and if it happens, it should start today (Friday), which is normally how soaps tease us. Give you a taste of what's to come on the last day and then force you to wait til the weekend to see more. It was what they did last week, too, with a last-minute glimpse of the two girls tied to stakes right as the show faded out.

I hate to be an optimist here, with such a high possibility that we'll get burned, but I'm betting on a similar scene at around 1:58 PM today. A shot of the killer, followed by a slow pan to reveal Natalie's frightened face, most likely with duct tape across her mouth. Let's see how accurate my prediction turns out to be.

One Life to Live, Part 2
Here's a mirror to Major John's OLTL Pt.2.

Take a look at Major John's, if you get a chance. It's a really cool site with lots of content.

I think there's a good chance of that happening, but even if it doesn't, Evangeline had another flashback at the 45-minute mark. She's sitting a park bench thinking about her relationship with John and all she's been through with him when the memory progression ultimately winds up back at the bound to the pole scene.

Still waiting on the final minutes of the show ...

Nothing on Friday. Last scene showed some type of underground theater with the killers handling the script. There appeared to be a crate in the room, so Natalie is likely in there, perhaps B&G. No shots of her on Monday's preview, but they gotta got to the chase soon.

Aaaaannnd... Zip. What is revealed is that the Killing Club killer has an accomplice, and from the looks of things a lot more than one. In the last scene, a guy is reading the Killing Club script to a group of people in the basement of a building.

I have a hunch, and I'd love to be wrong, that Natalie is actually in on all this stuff. If she's bound and gagged again, it would be as a decoy. She was trying to pull a diversionary stunt on John when she was supposedly kidnapped anyway. We'll see...

Previews for Monday's episode showed nothing of interest, but Bree Williamson's bad girl alter ego character Tess may be embroiling herself in some trouble. She showed up at a swank party uninvited and is hanging out with some questionable types.

Possible, because Natalie's original abduction was not shown, she just appeared in the basement with Evangeline. I'd still bet against, since they already have the Bree Williamson character losing her mind, that might be too much at once.

"Passions" offered nothing. Sheridan broke free from the woman holding her at knifepoint.

The only spoiler that I can find so far says: "Marcie has chilling news for John in regard to Natalie on 7/11."

That would explain her crappy gag during the cheerleader-pole scene (at some point they can have a flashback exposition--'take off all the glue from my tape-gag. But make sure Evangeline's is tight'). Although how exactly did she know she'd get rescued in time?

Murphy's Law
Finally got around to adding the entry for the Murphy's Law episode I mentioned last week

Record number: 11482

Title: Murphy's Law
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Unknown

Description: Episode: 3.6

In the final episode of this six part serial story Murphy (James Nesbitt) arrives at a hospital to find his critically ill friend missing from his intensive care bed.

Noises coming from a cupboard in the corner of the room alert him to the fact he is not alone in the room and he opens it to find an attractive asian nurse in side.

Dressed in a light blue uniform she is tied hands behind back and gagged both with surgical tape.

Scene occurs about 45m into episode, short but well acted with a particularly emotive performance from the near hysterical nurse.

You may also be interested in record 11481 which is a forgotten Australian movie Sky Pirates.

I did say I'd do Family Affairs when I get a chance but seeing how it's 5 x 30m episodes it may take a while.

OLTL
I'm not proud to say this, but having skimmed OLTL pretty much every other day for last month in hope of the big payoff (OK, let's be honest here: having skimmed OLTL pretty much every other day for the last month in hope of nothing even close to the big payoff), I seriously doubt that Natalie's involved, unless she has been brainwashed or something (which, in the world of soap operas, in no way precludes the possibility). Instead, I think it will follow the normal route and be either a b&g'd scene or "why in the world wasn't she b&g'd" scene. Since — thank god — I'm not posting on the OLTL discussion board, I'll forego my extensive reasons for thinking Natalie a victim, save that she's a very popular character who just signed a new contract and probably will remain a potential love interest for John and rival with Evangeline (who I would have much rather have seen spirited away by the killer). Also, I read somewhere (quite possibly unreliable) that the killer would be revealed on July 20th, so we may have a bit of a wait in store for us. But given OLTL's 2005 track record, I'm going to stick with it.

One Life to Live
It is also possible that the kidnapper(s) do not have Natalie at all. Maybe she wandered off due to shock or something. Maybe she couldn't face John for some reason and ran away. Who knows with soap operas! There is no evidence that "the killer got away with her" as John said. I hope I'm wrong.

Anyway, in Friday's episode they showed another brief flashback to Evangeline bound and gagged.

Actually, the several minute long scene where whatshername is chained to a table undergoing water torture isn't in there either. Not sure if it falls in the "Bondage in Real Life" or "didcap". I personally don't care, but others may have a problem.

Eraser question
Record number: 856

Title: Eraser (1996)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Vanessa Williams, Melora Walters, Camille Winbush

Description: Near the beginning of the movie, Ms. Walters is shown bound and tape gagged. She and Robert Pastorelli are rescued by The Schwarzenegger.

Towards the end, Dr. Lee Cullen (Williams) is shown with her hands bound with wire to the arms of a wooden chair, from which she escapes by breaking one of them and clobbering her captor with a coffemaker carafe.

At some point (haven't seen this scene myself), young Ms. Winbush (as "Camille", imaginative, that) is captured, bound and gagged with duct tape, before she's also saved by Himself.

There is also a hand gag scene in which the bad guy tries to set arnold up to kill him

^^^thats the database entry...i just bought eraser and the 3rd scene described (with Camille Winbush) was not on it, or i was just missing something?

Handcuff scenes seem to be a dime-a-dozen and only mentioned if another "bigger" scene also occurs on a show or movie. The water torture scene is staged much like the Howard Stern tickle post/chair of which three or four of those are already in the database. So if the staged Howard Stern scenes are in, then the staged Mythbuster scene should too.

How shall I put this...
I would suggest that you take a look at her birthdate and the release date of the movie.
